Their craftsmanship and design expertise have always been exceptional -- no question there. Earlier this year, while cleaning out my home office files, I came across documentation from a project dating back six years -- one that had never been fulfilled. To be completely transparent, I had forgotten about it until now. I reached out to request a $200 refund for the uncompleted work. Despite providing clear documentation and context, my request was handled dismissively. It's disappointing that after years of loyal business, The Drapery House refused to honor such a simple, good-faith request. It makes it clear they do not value long-term customers. It's also worth noting that The Drapery House is not BBB accredited, which may help explain the lack of accountability we experienced. It's a shame when a company known for quality undermines its reputation over something so small. I'd be glad to share the full email correspondence with The Drapery House to anyone interested in understanding the experience in detail.

He sold us with his genuine and honest presentation, (not to mention much more competitive cost/quote) and everything panned out perfectly. As each awning is custom-made, there is a wait time of a few weeks for the delivery, but it shipped/delivered as we'd been told (actually, arrived a little early). When it came to the day of installation, they were not only prompt but executed the installation skillfully and beautifully and the end product is perfect. Couldn't be happier. As time went by my wife and I noticed that one of the panels seemed to have an odd look to it. We never talked about it and both assumed it was light reflection causing the illusion .. One day about a month ago, my wife was entering shower and that odd looking panel shattered. We were a bit stunned and called Kent Glass right away. This was occurring at the onset of Covid in our area and this added stress to the already stressful time. It was quite unsettling! Todd, (from Kent Glass),responded immediately and within a couple of hours, he had cleaned up the broken glass and offered to go back to his shop and cut a piece of plastic to accommodate shower while waiting for a replacement panel, never once mentioning warranty or additional expense while apologizing for our inconvenience..He mentioned he had never had this happen before and that this was just a fluke ...We taped up a piece of plastic instead of having him "make"the temporary fix.! A few weeks went by . Todd showed up today with the replacement panel, installed it and went on his way, commenting that we were to call if any problems..No Charge..He delivered impeccable service. Two weeks went by and I never heard from him, so I called and left a message. Again, never heard from anyone. Not a great way to do business. Apparently it was too small of a job and it doesn't occur to them I would need their help again in the future.
