After creating an open floor plan for our kitchen, dining, and living room, I was at a loss on how to proceed to achieve the look I wanted as well as address different sized windows and several doors. With Manuela's extensive interior design and window treatment knowledge, she presented the perfect solutions! She created design boards with fabrics, furniture, and accents complete with measurements, pricing, and where to purchase the furniture. With Manuela's guidance, I will purchase my furniture with confidence knowing it will be functional, proportional, durable, and beautifully styled. Manuela used different styles of window treatments with coordinating fabrics that gave a custom, elegant, and professional look using floor to ceiling double pleated drapes on my bay window, cornices for all of my doors to warm up the look, to the beautiful toppers in the dining and kitchen areas. The look is timeless, yet updated, and the quality is top notch. All of the window treatments are fully lined and would never be confused with store bought. I would have never been able to achieve that look on my own. Manuela is very personable, listened to figure out my style, and gave several choices that both met our wants and needs. I will definitely hire Manuela again!

I hired Perfect Touch to furnish my new home. After I placed large nonrefundable deposits, the…read moreformer owner told me that she was selling the company but would be there to finish my project. Shortly thereafter she became unavailable and a variety of staff came through including Manuela the new owner. Here are some examples of what we endured. The first item to arrive was the bedspread and dust ruffle which cost about $3000. The bed skirt was short by 4 inches and there was a large gap at the edges. It took two visits to get them to finally come out measure the bed skirt determine it was indeed not fabricated to their specifications and fix the problem. They sent various people out to measure my husbands closet for built in drawers and shelves. Each person had a differnent idea about the appropriate dimensions and the plans were scrapped three times by Perfect Touch. It took nearly 4 months to get the small project completed and multiple visits that took my time. Note that I didn't change my mind. They just couldn't agree on how to do things. I ordered bedside chests which cost about $7000 total. I had a written estimate. When it was time for them to be delivered they told me that it would be $500 more than the written estimate. I paid it. They recommended that I change the finish of the hardware on the chests. I agreed to this. I asked them to match the metallic finish elsewhere in the room. Instead of coming out and checking the color themselves they sent me an iPhone photo of a metallic piece of hardware against a cardboard backdrop. They said they didn't have time to come out and check the color themselves. I ordered a custom rug for the guest room at their suggestion, I approved their recommendation of a size and paid the deposit, then two other people came out and measured and they began to argue about the correct size. Almost a month went by while they argued without placing an order for the rug. I ordered custom table linens for well over $1000. They had to be redone because they were sewn incorrectly and bunched unattractively. They ordered the wrong bench for the foyer and it needed to be returned and exchanged. Finally, I had been assured that my project would be completed including decorative accessories to make everything look finished and polished. But when it came time to accessorize they told me "we don't make much on accessories." I had spent between $80,000 and $100,000. I took the first few errors in stride but I obviously grew frustrated as these episodes continued. Throughout the process, I found Manuela very difficult and defensive. I hired them to help me, to save time and to achieve a professional look. The entire process was very stressful. In the end my home was not finished and polished as I had hoped and I needed to find another decorator to finish what was left of my project.

I had no communication with homeowners in the beginning , once I did I found out VERY Quickly how disappointed they were with her . We had agreed to communicate without her which was working fine . Until just Yesterday I had to take a leave for Christmas and when I was suppose to return and did not they flipped and told me that they just recently fired her from the job which in returned took the job from me as well . There is very to no communication with Jill unless it is through text which even then takes hours on end before getting a response .

She provided me a few designs / price points to choose from and I found them to be transparent with their pricing. Remodel stayed on schedule, which was huge for us. (I was 7.5-8mo pregnant at the start of the work, so I was concerned about timing) The quality of the work seems to be high, no issues so far. Their crew was pleasant to have in our home. (Respectful of napping toddler, pets, friendly, clean! etc.) Scotty, our project manager was great. Other reviews comment on them being overpriced, but unfortunately any quality home re-model will be expensive these days. RIKB handled everything from start to finish and allowed me to be as stress free as possible. Would use them again.

In addition, my husband and I had a little bit of an emergency situation on our hands due to an impending heat wave, and needed to figure out a solve for our problem quickly. (This I know, was our bad in not preparing better. We take full responsibility!) I put out a request on Yelp on a Wednesday afternoon to all listed handyperson services and emailed another 6 or so companies listed on Google. Most of companies I pinged did not respond at all, and the smattering that did said they were booked through October. Thank my lucky stars, though, Joe called me back within the hour and said he'd come by between 4:30 and 5pm to take a look-WHICH HE DID! Off to a good start and it just kept getting better! I walked him through the challenge at hand: we needed to install an air conditioner in our garage, but we only had one janky window to work with that didn't fit the most narrow window unit, a standup unit didn't cool the space, and we didn't really want to lose use of the window entirely. Joe jumped right in and suggested a quick, flexible, and affordable solution: build an insulated window box so we can easily install and remove the AC seasonally and maintain the insulation that we need during the colder months. Genius! Not only was his idea a good one that checked all boxes, he presented his ideas clearly, answered all my questions thoroughly, and didn't pander to my very unimpressive knowledge of construction in general. Joe sent me an estimate via email the next morning, I approved it immediately, he showed up to do the work that very afternoon, and he was finished with the work by 5pm! MAGIC. He completed the work swiftly, rigorously, efficiently, and cleanly. The AC box is secure, accurately placed based on expectation, and perfectly fits a classic AC window unit. ALL THIS AND ONLY A MERE TWENTY FOUR HOURS HAD PASSED SINCE INITIAL CONTACT. All Your Need is and will be our handyperson service provider for LIFE!

The friendly staff are helpful and can point you in the right direction for what you need. There's an information desk to the left when you walk in and you can usually ask questions there, if there's no one there the cashiers can help. They do so many different things that I didn't know about - they rent power tools and it's super affordable (I rented a sander for 4 hrs for $10), they repair screen doors, they have garden supplies...the list goes on. I'm super happy with the repair they did on my screen door so I'm including a picture.

In my humble opinion, this is THE best plumbing supply company in Rhode Island! They are the…read moreepitome of professionalism, and the yardstick I compare other plumbing supply companies to (and many fall way short in comparison). I like Webb because it has a different setup than most plumbing suppliers. Instead of keeping their merchandise in the back of a warehouse, Webb keeps the commonly sold merchandise on shelves, where you can grab a cart or basket and pick out what you need - kind of like shopping at a supermarket. It's basically self-service, and once you get to know the store's layout, you can get in and out of there very quickly. The way I see it, it's easier and faster to just grab what you want, rather than describe it to a counterman, although all of the service counter employees at Webb are on the ball and know their stuff anyway. The store is very organized. If I don't know where to find a certain item on their vast array of shelves, I just ask someone. Larger items are kept in the warehouse, and most pipe is kept in the yard. In addition to plumbing supplies, they also have an extensive selection of parts and supplies for hot water, steam and forced hot air heating systems, as well as oil burners. While the supply section of the store caters mainly to trade professionals, they have a large plumbing fixture showroom that would be of interest to homeowners. They sell American Standard and Toto toilets, both of which are excellent brands. I always receive excellent service, both in person and over the phone. The supply countermen are very polite and professional, and even have a good sense of humor. Their inside salespeople have helped me track down hard-to-locate repair parts many times. Webb is in a very convenient, central location, just off I-95 in Warwick.
