Kind staff, quiet atmosphere (Saturday afternoon), good drinks, good truffle fries, good music, no complaints really! Would definitely come back.

This place hosts intimate vibes, speakeasy charm, and a night of live jazz that feels like a trip back in time. This great new addition to an already hit spot on the East Side is serving up inventive cocktails and delicious food with a fantastic staff that makes you feel right at home. Whether you're here for the soulful music or the cozy atmosphere, this spot is the perfect hideaway.

I met up here with my bestie last night after work to catch up. It has a cute magical feel. We had drinks and food. When ordering i told the waiter that we were going to split the burger. When the burger was brought to the table they sliced the burger in half for us and gave us our half's each with fries on a plate. This was so sweet and thoughtful. I never had this experience at a place before. We also shared the mussels which were tasty. I'd definitely come back here again.

A delightful little watering hole with a beautiful bar and creative cocktails. I stopped in for a quick nip before dinner and was greeted at the bar by the barkeep that crafted a delicious gin cocktail that was quite refreshing. Will have to stop by to try their other cocktails and maybe even some food.

This place is still great! I came on a Monday this time and it wasnt't dead. Still has a great atmosphere. This place is a great date spot. Highly recommend.

Sazerac & Hemingway Daiquiri

Bartenders know what they are doing! Hemingway Daiquiri is delish! Sazerac was made spot on!

A friend had a private event held at Madam Mikette's. The private room upstairs is gorgeous. Great vibes, drinks, and food here! For drinks I really enjoyed their cocktail "Ask me another". It didn't taste strongly of liquor but had great flavor. Also you can't go wrong with an Aperol Spritz; theirs was well done. The food was quite good too. There was a cheese board and a Pita & Dips platter at different tables in the room as part of the catering. Also different appetizers were offered by servers throughout the night; we especially liked the buffalo cauliflower, fried mozzarella balls, and smash sliders. Madam Mikette's has won me over- Would love to come back and try some more cocktails, and now I know the food is also great!

Came here for Happy Hour. In the early hours it's not packed so you can definitely get a good seat the bar. But after 6 it starts getting packed. The Happy Hour is limited but the drinks are really good. Ended up getting a Margarita which was perfect. On the regular menu I got the Penicillin and it was just as good. For food I ordered the wings. The wings were grilled and spicy. They are probably made to order since it took some time for them to come out. The small portion was good for 2 people to share. I was watching the bartenders make other cocktails and they take their craft seriously. They have ample cocktails to choose from and a decent menu for food. I just don't like that food is not included in the Happy Hour menu. However, I look forward to coming here again to try their other cocktails, they sound and looked very good. Prices were average for the area. Definitely a good spot to hang out with friends. Not overly crowded or loud.

Upstairs private event space

Beautiful event space. Good service. Excellent midtown location. Highly recommend.

I pass this location very often, at least 3 times a week but never had an opportunity to go. Excited to try this place for a local community event during happy hour! We were situated in the front area. I really enjoyed the aperol spritz ($10 up until 7pm), it was sweet but well balanced. I also had to try their Penicillin ($17), a favorite of mine, it was also very complex but well balanced, also on the sweeter side but still tart and refreshing. I loved the lighting and decor- a great theme but definitely very stylish and modern. Food was just so-so. I look forward to returning, checking out the space a little more and enjoying the vibe!

Antique style knick knacks with vintage pictures and tea sets.

On a random Saturday evening, we ventured into Madam Mikettes around 10:30 pm. The bar was lightly packed, so we had a pick of where we wanted to sit. I don't usually go to bars, but this place was definitely my speed. There appeared to be so much character and thought put into the fine details of this establishment. Even the staff and bartenders had on matching vests, so neat! After taking a look around the venue, I saw the cute red booth that was perfectly positioned in the middle of the back room yet private from the rest of the restaurant. Super perfect for a date night spot. Since it was available, I asked the hostess if we could sit there, and she said it was good. We ordered the fish tacos to share and the side of fries. The Fish Tacos came in a set of 3. I would have preferred a set of four since I believe it was under the sharable section of the menu. Usually, even numbers are easier to share. The food was decent for a late night grub. As I took a look around at all, the knick knacks, signs, atwork, pictures, and antique vintage accents, I felt like I took a trip back in time to the 1920s era. I even noticed the border of the menu that gave old world vibes. Hands off to the team that put in the time to design the interior. If and when I venture to Midtown East, I will be sure to try and swing by Madame Mikettes. It's just that cute.

The main cocktails.

Nice bar with terrific selection. Leans hipster and the prices are steep even for NYC ($25-30 per cocktail). Happy hour drinks are $10 and were quite tasty. Very interesting fortune teller theme that helped with the ambiance.

I was warmly greeted by the gentleman at the door (5 service there), which set a great first impression. However, as soon as I walked downstairs, it felt like the space had lost its speakeasy vibe. I was seated right near the stairs and could feel cold air from outside every time the door opened, which made the experience uncomfortable. I was also surprised to see how much the cocktail menu had been reduced. When I asked about it, the response was that "the place changed a lot." That's fair -- places evolve -- but instead of highlighting the improvements or new strengths, the explanation focused negatively on what the bar used to be. As someone who really enjoyed the former version, that wasn't reassuring. Unfortunately, the drinks themselves didn't make up for it. One of the two cocktails was simply not good. No one came back to check on the drinks, and when I asked for the check after about 20 minutes, there was no acknowledgment that I had barely touched mine or any inquiry about my experience. Overall, a place I once enjoyed and recommended now feels more like a standard dive bar where " Mixologist " were replaced by bartender and were fun cool looking and tasty drinks were replaced by " less complex cocktail ", lacking the warmth and attention to detail that once made it special.

Easy to find if you know what you're looking for, if you arrive right at 5pm on a cold weeknight in the winter, you'll easily find a table or seat at the bar. Very cute space, cozy like everyone says, but nothing mind blowing. Music is moderately loud. The menu in early February still included their winter holiday cocktails. I was more interested in the apple sage house-made fermented soda, and it was pretty good-large glass, flavorful and not too sweet. My friend enjoyed her pomegranate version. The space started to fill up at around 5:30. Service was polite when you could get it, but generally very inattentive, even before it got busy. It honestly didn't feel too different from anu other very nice NYC bar, in terms of menu selection, prices, ambiance and service. Maybe that's standard for NYC speakeasies, but the places I frequented in other cities were more fun and felt more worth the price. I'll still give another NYC spot a try, but not coming back to Thyme.

They're experimental, whimsical, delicious, and worth every penny. My absolute favorite is Child of Light, and my BF's was High Frequency Device. We were sat at the bar once and were very well taken care of by our bartender, Nikola. It was a Sunday night, so it wasn't terribly busy. We chatted up a storm and he was able to create some drinks off the menu just for fun (on request). He also made my BF and me a couple of drinks to celebrate our anniversary too. It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. Since we had cocktails at dinner, we only stayed for one round. Service was good, and overall I enjoyed my time at Patent Pending. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu.

The cocktail menu is incredible -- and incredibly pricey, but truly worth it. I ordered the Valentino which was strong and sweet, really well made. It somehow manages to feel both refined and relaxed at the same time. The kind of place where you half expect to spot Hemingway in the corner pretending not to eavesdrop. We started with half a dozen oysters, which were fresh, briny, and exactly what you want with serious cocktails. Crisp, clean, gone in about three minutes. For drinks, we ordered the Smoke Show and the King Tusk. The Smoke Show was beautifully balanced. The Grey Goose vodka and Dolin Dry gave it that classic martini backbone, but the fino sherry and brine added depth. The smoked olive oil and blue cheese olive brought just enough savory drama without overpowering the glass. It was complex but not fussy. The King Tusk leaned more aromatic and layered. The vermouths gave it richness, while the Buddha's Hand and osmanthus flower added subtle citrus and floral notes that lingered in a really elegant way. It felt like a cocktail designed to be savored slowly. The music fit the mood perfectly, not too loud, just enough to give the room energy without killing conversation. Overall, it's a great spot if you want elevated drinks in a space that feels transportive without being pretentious. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I'm in the mood for a refined, slightly cinematic night out in Flatiron.
