I always enjoy stopping by this bar when shopping. I see the same friendly bar tenders every time who are so accommodating and co out if their way to get you a seat. I bring my kids too and there so great with them. Also the food is really good and it's very clean and sheik.

Came into the birthday petty. :) Excellent services and food are great :) they'll serve you water and bread..... all the food order stop by 6pm. (Restaurant services close at 7pm) There're 2 restaurants. One in the basement another one is on 7F incl bars. both pretty and different decor. 7F can see the whole Manhattan view if you take a window side. Even if you don't take the window side, you'll still can see the nice view. Tea is delicious!! I highly recommend here. Bathroom is outside the restaurant and sharing with Department store's customers. men and women bathrooms are separated. You don't need to wait the line. I just took one star off. Environmental impact.... Other customers seemed to be in a bad mood. They brought their personal anger into the restaurant. You might be noticeably surprised! (Rude, anger, and super loud voice lol ) I added photos I hope it will help.

5/5 Decor - love the vibes in here 5/5 Service - attentive and thoughtful service 5/5 Ambiance - doesn't feel like you're in the men's department of BG - the corner feels slightly hidden 4.5/5 Cream of Mushroom soup $14: creamy, subtle hint of spice (likely fresh cracked pepper), the mushrooms are all blended in so if you don't like the texture of mushrooms but enjoy the flavor, you can take a gander. I would have preferred a more mushroomy flavor overall but loved that it was served hot. 3/5 Short Rib tacos $18: decent, too wet (the tortillas arrive soggy and when you pick up the taco, it left a significant liquid residue on the dish). Surprisingly the short ribs themselves were on the dry side (maybe too lean?) despite how wet the tortillas were. Could have used some more green sauce. Otherwise, decent average taco, nothing to write home about. Wish it was fattier.

Goodman's Bar was a casual experience. Located on the second floor in the middle of the men's department store section, Goodman's Bar serves both food and drinks. To eat I got the Crème Fraîche which I found to be just okay. There was a strong taste of citrus which took away from the rest of the dish. In terms of drinks, I got a gin-based cocktail which tasted good. For both drinks and food, the price was a little more than seemed justified by the quality. As far as the layout and seating, it's a small area with a large bar and a few tables around it. Overall, it is an interesting experience if you are in the area, but I do not think I would go out of my way to check out Goodman's Bar.

I absolutely adore this hidden gem, tucked away inside Bergdorfs men's department. Quiet, elegant, great bar and check out the custom NYC toile wallpaper.

The drink I ordered, "The Bear Minimum" ironically represented the level of service offered. Interaction with clients wildly varied. The witty banter shared with other clients vanished when the patrons departed. It was very strange. Posting a very short review, to return later. I'm stunned by the indifferent behavior of the bartenders. (*Not* the cocktail hostess, who was adorable.) If the bartenders deem a patron worthy, exemplary service will be provided. Dress casual at your own risk.

My next trip to New York and of course this was my first stop! We had to revisit some of the same menu items as well as trying some new seasonal options. - I hope the Birria tacos and caviar/creme fraiche always stay on the all seasons menu, they're so delicious! - The tomato bisque soup was delicious, but it falls short to the squash soup last fall. - The grilled peach and burrata salad is the type of item my palette always craves, I just wish it had more than 3 slices of peaches. - Crab cake was great, just a tad too salty (and I tend to like food on the saltier side). - The Cuban sandwich was one of the best I've had, also the perfect portion! Cuban sandwiches can be really heavy and filling from all the flavors and fillings, but the portion size was the perfect amazing to keep me content. - The cherrie chocolate bites were good, but I don't like to mix my fruit with chocolate (unless it's star berries and Nutella). - Howeverrrr, not pictured are the freshly made Madeline bites that tasted like heaven!! I don't care how full you get, you should get them every time you come to Goodmans Bar. The 2 gentlemen that work behind the bar there are exceptional, amazing service and they are the best baristas and mixologists, don't believe me? Go find out for yourself

I had an exceptional experience at Goodman's. The service was superb and attentive without being overbearing (Asa is magisterial). The drink program is thoughtful. We had Bear Minimum and The Dainty Earl and loved the flavor profiles; The Dainty Earl had expertly balanced tannins. The food was well executed. We had the caviar and potato leek soup. The ambiance was fun and unique! I look forward to returning.

In the midst of rigorous shopping - you may need to hydrate. A cool oasis on floor 2 of the men's department. If I'm the area - stop by and say hello !!

Located on the 2nd floor of the men's department. Staff is very tentative. We stopped for a cocktail but decided to try the brussels sprouts (even though we literally JUST ate)... they were yummy.

Tucked away on the second floor BG Men's store is a hidden gem. The swanky Goodman's Bar has delicious cocktails, bites, and the best espresso martinis in the city.

A true hidden gem! Visited NYC for the weekend and Ace and Ivan were the highlight of our trip. They truly went above and beyond. The drinks, food, and atmosphere 10/10. Will definitely be back soon

Check-in was quick and easy, and even though it was a full house for a Saturday night, we were still able to find seats without an issue. The space was definitely lively and a bit crowded, but there was still enough room to move around comfortably. Our bartender was really sweet and made great drinks , the cranberry vodka and Long Island were both spot on. We didn't pay extra for the additional glasses to smash, but the six cups included were enough to make the experience fun and satisfying for a casual night. I can see why people would want to buy a full bucket though as it definitely adds to the excitement. The crowd was respectful, and the bathrooms were decently clean, which is always a plus. Can't complain. They have four booths in the back maybe it was three. I did notice one of the hanging lights was from an 80s pizza hut joint. Letting you know now the paper towels for your face at the table felt like jail toliet paper, very rough. The bar doesn't have bar stools with backs! The energy is right there, hovering, but it never actually lands. It's giving "almost iconic" but not quite--like a party that never fully starts. And that's what gets me. Because this bar could EASILY be that spot. The kind people plan their week around. Where are the themed nights? Where's the drama? The chaos? Give me a reason to come back on a random Wednesday. Do a city-event tie-in, a holiday takeover, literally anything that makes it feel alive instead of just... existing. Because right now it feels like a missed opportunity wearing a cute outfit. BUT--let's talk about the one thing they absolutely did not fumble: the view. The VIEW??? Insane. Genuinely stunning. The kind of view that makes you pause mid-sentence and remember you're in New York and not just spiraling in your own life choices. It's carrying the entire experience on its back, respectfully. So yeah. I'd come back... but mostly for the view and the potential. If they ever decide to actually do something with this space? It could be dangerous (in a good way). Until then, it's vibes... just not fully realized ones.
