50 years strong!

The trainers are exceptional. The workouts have built my strength, stamina, & confidence. Thanks to MAD I'm better than ever at 50!

I love mad! I have been training at mad for about 1 year. I can tell such a huge positive difference throughout my whole body. Goodbye cellulite! My arms and legs are more toned and I am happy! The classes are fun, the music motivates me, the trainers are very friendly and are always willing to help you.

It was my first time doing a workout at MADabolic Atlanta and it was great. My run club had a private strength training and HIIT class scheduled with Rae, the owner. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the front desk. We signed our waivers and received our boxing gloves for class. Once entering the workout studio, we grabbed a jump rope and waited for class to start. Rae explained how the class was setup and went through each series of exercises with us. We began with a warmup then moved to the workout stations. It was a total of 5 exercises, where we stayed at each station for 10 minutes with 15 second rest times after each minute of workout. In between each workout station, you have 2 minutes to transition and regroup then move to the next station. This workout was truly high intensity, but you feel great afterwards. Prepare to burn those calories. Everyday is a different focus area, so you never get bored with doing the same workout. Additionally, it's conveniently located on the Beltline and they are currently running a new client special, where you pay $5 and workout for 5 days. If you're looking to burn a lot of calories and workout with trainers with high energy, be sure to check this place out! You won't regret it!!!!

Amazing work out. Amazing trainers. Love this place. You won't get a better hour long workout anywhere

Immaculate gym, new equipment, and professional instructors. Awesome location on the beltline. There are 5 "lanes" catered to different fitness levels, so it's a great workout whether you are junior or advanced. Try it out!

The new facility is sparkling and definitely worth visiting if you haven't seen it yet and becoming a member if you swim work out regularly. We paid about $250 for the family to join for the year and the bonus is that it gives the whole family access to all Atlanta public pools. The building is very open, bright (lots of natural light come in through the glass), and beautifully built. While ATL isn't the Northeast, winter is still somewhat more of a period of hibernation for a lot of people and the opening of this center provides a very nice public option for continuing to be active. It seems like they offer a wide variety of classes and activities for kids. While I can't speak to the basketball gym, workout facilities, and indoor running track on the second floor, the pool is great. It's helped our toddler develop an appreciation for the water and we haven't even tried their infant swim program yet. Some highlights of the pool are that the water is very warm, they have a beach front walk-in, a separate family changing room, a variety of aquatic toys for kids to enjoy, and a few fun sprinkler type poles in the pool. For parents looking to entertain their kids this could be a great drop-in option too at just $5 a visit I believe. My only complaints are 1) We've waited months to get our membership cards and the machine that prints them is always down or unavailable for some reason. This is obviously not such a big deal but 2) As this "undiscovered" gem is no longer so undiscovered, we've seen more and more swimmers come to the pool and it can be difficult to find a free lane to swim in now (especially around peak hours weeknights after work). This may just be what happens as you become a victim of your own success. The pool is huge but it's unfortunate that the way they built it the lanes cannot be expanded or added easily because the free swim section has a giant physical barrier from the lanes part.

Great pool! A bit crowded. I don't care for lane sharing; that's why the 4 stars. Clean locker…read moreroom. Workout equipment upstairs.

The site shown # weeks at a special introductory price, whilst attempting to book the only option was for two weeks at said rate. I took a screenshot of the website (as advertised for 3 weeks) and messaged the studio.... someone then explained ton me that it SHOULD be for 2 weeks (which i understand). Here is where the problem comes in, 1) That is the studio's mistake, not mine. Thus they should honor the price that they had advertised on their website. 2) They did not. This was incredibly off putting to me and not indicative of the type of character that I would look for in a place of practice or anywhere that I would be spending money. Overall I just felt like that was a dishonorable way to handle a customer that was looking to become a new member. Even though its farther away from me than the bigger, more popular and established studios in my neighborhood, I wanted to support this studio. It appeared to be small and a more intimate vibe, however, once met with this unprofessionalism I quickly signed on for a much more expensive, yet conveniently located Bodyrok. Super professional and by the book, i'll pay more for that any day.

Mat Pilates, personal training with weights and I decided to bring PB in as part of my regular mix. One of the great things about PB is that you can go high impact or low impact and both will kick your butt. I took Rae's ABC - arms back & core this morning - and it was killer. I thought I was in over my head with this lady's class. The pace was intense and nonstop, except when I collapsed for a break. There is no jumping (yay) but I was sweating like crazy & had a fantastic workout. Rae is an excellent, highly qualified instructor and she does not mess around. She kept me going until the class (finally) ended. Love/hate but I will be back for more. If you take her Sunday stretch class, you will be amazed that serene but slowly intense class is taught by the same person in ABC. Whoa dog, I was impressed. Dress lightly because your body will heat up quickly. Bare feet or gym sneakers - I wore sticky socks. Plus! I really like her eclectic music playlist.

The class was so active and engaging that the time flew by so quickly. Tiffany was very patient with me and literally showed me the ropes/cords. I'm fairly new to reformer Pilates but this was the best studio I've been to. It's such a bonus that there is free public parking in the adjacent garage next to the AMC and they don't require you to wear grip socks for the workout. I must come back here again. This studio is welcoming to newbies and seasoned vets alike.

Woah, what a workout…read more I'm a (trying to be consistent this time around) member of Classpass and really enjoy a good pilates class and figured I'd explore a few around the city and found my faves. And I ended up at solidcore one afternoon! This wasn't my first time at Pilates, but my first time at solidcore. I'm no pro by any means, but definitely a fan. Located in the Madison Yards shopping/retail area, solidcore is right next to a (free) parking deck and a few other fitness and beauty spots. The parking deck was super clutch as I didn't luck up on the great, but limited, spots right outside of the door. It was easy to park and walk only a few steps to class. So important if you're about to get your butt kicked in a pilates workout and need to hobble out to your vehicle, lol. Upon entry, there wasn't anyone at the front but I was obviously at the right place. I love that the door is actually locked and those signed up for class receive a code in advance. Love security measures to keep folks safe. It's an intimate space, so it was easy to see where to go and upon entry, I met with Sarah, our enthusiastic instructor. This class was packed, not a reformer was left out! I'll say that this was a great workout, but it wasn't for anyone who hasn't been to multiple solidcore classes, not even just pilates, Sarah was fantastic, but I absolutely noticed that I was the only person in the class who seemed to be new to solidcore. They do traditional pilates, but the dim lighting, the pacing, not for me. Being that I still consider myself a beginner because I don't immediately know the names of each move (like in Yoga) and because my body doesn't immediately flow into the movement because I'm still computing the instructions, lol, I was not on track with the others. I reallyyyyy wish I would have known it wasn't a beginners class or that it had been labeled as such on Classpass (idk if it is on their website, it very well may be). Luckily for me, I'm no quitter and I really don't even think there would have been a clear moment for me to slip out anyways lol. Sarah was kind, as at a few points when she saw that my form was incorrect she corrected me. I would have loved more guidance but don't blame that on Sarah in any way, as it really was dark in there and she had 6+ other students to pay attention to lol. But I'm big on getting my form right and found that to be a little struggle due to the pace and my usual 4-eyed self not having glasses and unable to see my form in the mirrors due to the lighting LOL. Very much, personal issues that I won't put on solidcore. Overall, a great class taught by Instructor Sarah and my body ached the next day in the best way. Although I had a good experience, I think I'll return once I have more consistent pilates classes under my belt so that I can keep up, or I'll be back when I can slip into a lower-level class until then!
