I did the intro class with Missy and wow! What a great class. She's amazing. The vibe in that studio is incredible right from the beginning. Everyone there is SO NICE!! They're so welcoming to newbies like me and my friend. I really like that Missy takes the time to go around and make sure your form is correct. I moved from LA to ATL two years ago, and until stumbling upon Vesta I really struggled to find a gym that encompassed the three things I look for: Cleanliness, culture, and class. Vesta is the triple threat I've been looking for! Cleanliness - I ALWAYS see the staff working hard after every class making sure everything is sanitized and spotless for the next use. In addition, the Vesta team has stayed extremely mindful and proactive throughout the whole pandemic to prevent the spread of covid and started offering virtual classes as an option. They take sanitation to the next level and I respect all the work that is put in to keep it spotless. Culture - Joining a new gym can sometimes be scary when you don't know anyone and are not sure what to expect....This was not the case for me! I can honestly say the second I stepped foot into Vesta I felt at home. The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and made me feel included right away. I took my first class at Vesta in December of 2015 on a whim. Though I had tried to become a "fitness person" for years by going to different gyms, nothing ever stuck and I found myself in a cycle of guilt and disappointment. Between not working out and eating garbage, my self image was at an all-time low, so I figured it couldn't hurt to try something totally outside of my normal wheelhouse. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I left my class with Missy feeling like the biggest badass on the planet and that was that. I was sold. The instructors are all super down to earth and knowledgable, as well as invested in your progress and technique. They are amazing at running fun, engaging classes while making sure that newbies get plenty of attention in a way that doesn't single them out or make them feel awkward. The pricing is totally reasonable and worth every penny and you seriously can't beat their merch. I've been going to Vesta 3-4x/week for almost a year now and I've lost a ton of weight, kicked some bad habits and transitioned gradually into a healthier, more active lifestyle. Prior to Vesta I had never committed to any consistent workout program in any way so the general gym intimidation was natural, but the effort, by the entire staff, to dispel this feeling was apparent immediately. They are friendly and welcoming with the intention to train you with an inclusive and educational community. At no point has the intimidation factor resurfaced, as the community aspect is a reality, the staff remember who I am and even if it's only by face, it is still encouraging. The instructors are extremely attentive to proper form and consistency and do care (and notice) when you improve, and the classes are always slightly different so it remains fun (in both the strength and kickboxing classes). I am truly stronger, more confident, healthier, and happier. Vesta is awesome. Before Vesta, I hated working out . I went with a friend who had been talking about it for months, you get a free class people!! I was addicted after my first class. All the trainers are so nice and knowledgeable. The classes last around 55 minutes and it's pretty intense but you can go at your own pace which is awesome. I have never felt weird or uncomfortable there which is the first time ever at any gym. Besides kickboxing, they offer a strength class upstairs. The trainers offer one on one trainings for an additional cost BUT it's worth it. With the membership you can sign up for as many classes as you want including strength. It's worth every penny! So- go check out your first class!!!! It's free!!! Parking is located behind the building right next to the local, the local doesn't mind you parking behind their place as well! I am so happy I found out about Vesta! My first workout was at the shed and sweat at PCM and I enjoyed the vibes from the staff so much I decided to do a little more research. If you are weary they offer a free class before committing to anything HIIT or Kickboxing. Shortly after redeeming my free workout online I received a follow-up phone call from a sweet soul and we were able to set up my class in less than 3 mins. Upon my arrival Tito greeted me and gave me a tour prior to my class starting. Shannon was my instructor and she is amazing!! This place is amazing!!! The culture here is so positive and full of high energy. The hour really goes by fast... but you'll definitely feel the burn. If you're looking for a fitness studio that's going to make you feel right at home, is staffed with experienced, knowledgeable trainers and is going to provide you with a kick ass workout. This is the gym for you! Each class is about 55 minutes. It starts with a solid warmup and then your led through a series of bag combinations (kicks/punches) combined with plyometric /circuit training. Vesta also has strength classes upstairs that focus on total body strength and conditioning. The staff is super friendly. The owner has definitely built a community in her classes. I LOVED this place for sooo many reasons. Super clean-even the bathrooms! Such a beautiful building ~the plants out front made it so we had fresh air but still had privacy for the class. ALL the employees were SOOO nice-from the time I walked in at the front desk to the instructor-it was my first kickboxing class and they made me feel so welcome and comfortable. I get nervous for new things so this was just so nice. The classes were mostly women, which I also appreciated. Every time I felt a little confused for combinations the instructor came over. She was so sweet assuring me and my friend that the first time is more about having fun than getting the combinations perfect. I will definitely be coming again and would recommend to anyone. Felt empowered as a woman learning how to properly punch and kick. I just wish I lived closer!!! read more

She also stays very aware throughout class and keeps an eye on posture and form to make sure you're getting the most out of your workout while staying safe. The people who worked there were very nice and it was easy to set-up the trial class. The facility was nice, but this is far from a true kickboxing gym. The music was so loud that it was impossible to hear the combinations. The class was very unstructured, lacked continuous intensity and was far from a full body work-out. If you have done kickboxing before, I recommend sticking with MMA and boxing gyms. That is where you get a real workout without all of the hype. read more
