I feel so bad writing this because the nail tech was extremely nice but I have never gotten my nails done so bad! I came in with way nicer toes! Like how did she finish leaving my toes looking this crusty. She didn't even clean my cuticles. She literally just took the gel polish off and tried to put "new polish" on. Which it looked so bad. Then she did my daughters "coffin" dip set and omg not only is the shape horrendous but how is it possible that dip looks lumpy like that when dip is literally the easiest thing to work with. I'm giving it a one star because the manager did come over and realize how bad it was so she had another girl redo them and they came out a lot better. HOWEVER! The second lady did make my toe start gushing blood and then decided to put super glue on it which in turn made the streak of blood be glued to my nail and down the crease ‍ read more

The only reason I'm giving her one star is because I took my grand daughter here about a week or so ago. They made me pull up in back which is kind of creepy at 515, and the two women only allowed my 17 yr old who looks 15.... granddaughter in by herself. My first thought is why.... nail salons are legally open..... but ok keep your phone near and text me cause I'm not leaving. Long story short? They TOTALLY took advantage of her. The nail job itself which was acrylic's, was "only ok" BARELY! They weren't smooth and even infact she had a couple little dip likes. Just awful. I had given her money including tip. I am totally mad I couldn't believe they charged her $60 for a full set. Her own nails are beautiful, no tips were added. I know prices and I know this was outrageous . No design just acrylic period. I came to Macy's Salon on a Thursday at 5. The workers are nice but they will take advantage of you. I was charged $40 to take off my acrylic nails and to take off gel from my toes( not including tip).I understand that nail techs do not prefer to do removals with out a set, totally get it, yet what they did is not right. I have been to much pricier salons and take off has cost $7-$10 for acrylic removal, taking gel off is even less. My sisters having been doing nails here for a while and walk out paying $25-$30 for there nails. I'm not too upset because I walked in with $40 cash to give extra tip, due to businesses closing again but they have officially lost me due to them taking advantage. My family operates a restaurant, I don't hike the prices when we are going through difficult times. read more

Only came in for a pedicure to pass time while hubby was at the tattoo place a couple shops down. French tip, nothing crazy. They got me in quickly, which I appreciated. Little to no wait. Very kind, good customer service. I got the deluxe pedi, the massage and other treatments were nice. No complaints about the way the pedi came out either. Bring cash if you can. I went to Macy's about 2 weeks ago for a gel manicure and Jeff took really EXTREMELY of me. I have extremely sensitive nail beds and I'm always anxious when technicians go to town buffing and scraping to take off the polish. Jeff was EXTREMELY careful and for the first manicure of my life, I felt no pain at all! I had also slice my finger before coming in and he was very creative and super glued it shut to make sure the acetone didn't get in and burn it. My manicure is still holding up after two weeks:). I will be making Macy's my nail salon and ask for Jeff because he is so kind and attentive, and I know I will get a great manicure! read more

This is the best place I've been too in sacramento. The shop was clean and very comfortable. I showed up before closing time hoping that they would have time for me, and they did! Dan, the man that did my nails, did a FABULOUS job! He was so sweet and very tedious about his work! He knew exactly what I wanted and surpassed my expectations by far! I have been going to Dan to get my nails done for as long as I can remember. I grew up with his daughter at the salon and my mom used to get her nails done by his mom! He's always so patient and nice and does an amazing job of listening to exactly what I want. My nails last for over a month without getting a fill. I get stopped constantly by women asking where I get my nails done because they just look wonderful! I will not go anywhere else and I might just give up my acrylics if he ever retires. I don't think I'll find anyone else reasonably priced and killer at nails like DAN. read more

Just had a great experience at Macy's Salon. I saw Quinn (sp?) for my nails and she was very thorough and detailed about my needs for both my toes and my fingers. She is very knowledgeable and I felt comfortable with her taking care of my nails. Ann (sp?) trimmed my hair while I was there and she educated me about my split ends and how that was affecting how I'm trying to grow my hair. Lee provides the best hair cut I've had in a long time. The problem is every time I go in the price is higher than they quote. So this time I was quoted $120.00 to dye, highlight, and trim my hair. When I got there they said they were stuck in traffic and come back in an hour. After a four hour appointment I get to the counter and they charge me $205.00. $85.00 above what I was quoted and told me I misunderstood and no adjustments would be made. That no hair trim was included with the color so full price separate charge. Full price separate charge for highlight and dye. I mean an extra $5 or $10 added a pedicure or haircut is one thing but this was almost $100.00 more. Lee literally put her arm around my waist and ushered me out the door leaving my money on the counter. Didn't count it, didn't offer any change nothing just shuffled out the door. I felt like I was kindly being screwed. Should I have thrown a fit, maybe... I have put up with the musty smelling towels and dirty floors but continuously misrepresenting you services and prices removes trust. These folks cannot be trusted. read more

Dropped in here to get fills. I have been going to another nail salon in Rocklin, as it was close to my hair salon (Hues Nail and Skin Salon ROCKS, specifically ATOSA) for quite some time, but time had gotten away from me over the holidays, and I live in Citrus Heights, so I thought I'd support a closer neighborhood business. Well, I told 'Helen' that I was picky and she wasn't deterred (star 1), I told her I wanted to keep my natural nails (with acrylic, of course), she understood (star 2 - as many of you know, language is an issue at many nail salons) and proceeded with her craft. One nail needed replacement and as she 'formed' it, I noticed it was off center. She quickly corrected it (star 3), my prior manicurist could never understand me... It was just before NY Eve, so I wanted glittery nails, I picked out a color, but just as she was ready to paint she suggested another sparkly polish that I liked even better! (star 4) The only reason I haven't given them a 5 star rating is that I haven't had a pedicure from them yet, again I am VERY particular, and I haven't been for a return visit YET.... But I recommend this salon, particularly Helen for your manicure; she is very good at her craft and a sweetheart too! Dirty! Dirty! Dirty! I stopped by to ask on a pedicure. I went to the back of the salon, where they were eating.. One lady I asked about a Pedicure quickly ushered me to the chair, which I had said I was just checking on prices and availability. She gave me a card with her name and price. As I was leaving I took my time to look around and stopped and actually looked at the Pedicure Spa Chairs and around them. They were so disgusting! I would never put my feet in that. As I approached the door I spotted a huge pile of unswept hair by a cutting station. Apparently they cut hair too, but aren't swift to clean. Please be careful of places like this. I have a friend that is seeking medical services from a podiatrist, after going to one of these places. You get what you pay for! Or you may get more than you bargained for. read more

Ok,I just want to start off by saying that the cost of my pedicure was $18, which is the lowest price I have ever paid. Having said that, I would not recommend this place and will not return. First off, it looks like a dump. It is small and disorganized. Second, their massage chairs do not work, and I really like getting a shiatzu massage while getting my toes pretty. Third, their foot & calf massage was the least effective one ever received. Fourth, while I was there, one of their hair dressers didn't bother to show up for an appt. and the people had to wait outside (and were still waiting when I left) in their vehicle. On top of that, the lady asked me to walk over to the area where you dry your nails without any shoes on! GROSS! I declined and put my sandals on before going over to dry my nails. Most salons offer the little cheap slippers if you are wearing shoes that are not easy to get on with wet nails, but there was no offer made for that. The water in the soaking tub was barely luke-warm. I was never offered different options (most places offer a few options for their pedicures, including parafin wax, etc.) The lady was nice and I feel bad leaving 2 stars, but this place did not meet, much less exceed my expectations. read more
