Saw the grossest large cockroach on the clothes. Was so frightened I literally screamed and quickly released the clothes back to cover the discovery. I usually wouldn't take a photo but thought I should this time to have proof of it. I promptly left the section and did not know what else to do but worry about the unsanitary conditions elsewhere. Based on the size of the cockroach, there must be many others. Not coming back to that store

I hope I get his name correct, but sometimes it's the small things that can make a big difference. A friendly greeting, a warm smile and sincere appreciation can change a person from a shopper into a client. Today we stopped into the Macy's at the Tyler Mall, Riverside and immediately upon entering the store, a person named Geoff made us feel right at home. I higher level of thoughtfulness than I see even at other chains. I later learned he was the Store Mgr and his kindness entirely put me into a better than average shopping mood. I learned a long time ago, that a moment of kindness can literally change someone's life . We stuck around a few hours, made several purchases and look forward to our next shopping experience as we move into the holiday season. #macys

If I could give zero I would- Unprofessional Experience at Macy's Perfume Section Galleria at Tyler I went to Macy's to get my Alien perfume refill and possibly look into other fragrances (Nordstrom was my go-to place for perfumes before they closed their location at Galleria at Tyler). When I arrived at the perfume section at Macy's, there were two sales associates having a conversation. After doing a lap around the perfume area, I looked for other sales associates but ended up back where I saw the two ladies talking. Despite being right in front of them at the counter, there was no effort or acknowledgment. Instead, I felt judged as they discreetly glanced at me from head to toe and continued their conversation. I'll be honest, I was surprised by their actions!! A simple acknowledgment, eye contact, or "We'll be right with you" or "Hi, give me a sec" would have been just fine. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Given the sentimental value of refilling my perfume, I instead looked for help at the makeup counter, where I met Liz A. and Rylan, who I later learned Liz A. is the manager for the perfume section downstairs. I shared my unpleasant experience with them and asked for assistance. Though both Liz A. and Rylan were helpful and apologetic while completing my purchases, it never felt like Macy's tried to earn or keep my business or have me as a return customer other than completing the transaction. Unfortunately, in this day and age, it seems that people can still be dismissive based on appearances. While I didn't think I looked disheveled, even if I did, everyone deserves to be treated with respect, whether they are window shopping or making a purchase.

I forgot the name of this lady but she thought I was trying to steal a black could jacket earlier this year. The problem is that I did a $800 shopping and because I told her to hold the jacket at the counter she thought I was trying to steal it. What made it worst is that she harassed me in front of the Manager asking if what I was said was true but I told her straight out

Stood at counter for over 15 minutes! With 15 associates passing me by and one only said hi and none asked if I needed assistance was trying to get one bottle of perfume. I do not recommend shopping at Macy's unless you have lots of time to wait. They should treat your customers much better and even with it being Christmas not ignore the customers that are standing there in one spot for 15 minutes .

Upon entering (without even going to the register first) the guy at the counter near the door does not greet us when we walk in so I initiated the conversation by telling him we are here for an exchange, he doesn't say anything at all he just watches me take the two pairs of pants and receipt out of the bag and then he thoroughly inspects the pants and then the receipt. He lets us know to go get the pants and I ask if we can take them back so we can remember which ones they were. He then responds with,"no you can just go get them". My husband must have sensed that I was annoyed because he then asked the guy if he can take us back to get them so I went to the car while my husband finished the transaction because for the life of me I couldn't understand why I couldn't just take them to the back myself. I understand there are policies in place and he could've kindly communicated that but he didn't, his whole demeanor was unpleasant. Listen, I have spent thousand of dollars at Street One Clothing and should've gone with my gut the first time I came into the store and they followed us around like we were going to steal something. I work hard to purchase things and not once have I ever stolen anything. This store makes you feel like a criminal! I swear this is my last time stepping my foot in this door and I wouldn't suggest anyone else to if they value good customer service because that is not what you will receive from them. I wish I could've give this business no stars to be honest.

I'm a regular there, so I've interacted with most of everyone at that location. I'd like to give a big thank you to Matthew and Jayden. Natalie as well. If customer service and product knowledge had a degree, they would all be metaphysical doctors in that realm. I've been to other locations that give united colors of Benetton energy, and thats cool and all, but generally when I come to 5.11 I'm on a mission for a particular item or nothing in particular at all. I just want to spend money and have someone not talk me out of it. 5.11 Riverside is that full send it button. Very happy to call it my home store, and always a pleasure to interact with the dedicated staff. Much love to the team. It was my first time in the store and Tim was a big help, answering all the questions I had and…read moremaking really good suggestions for additional gear I could purchase. I needed a good pair of boots, and Tim was patient while I tried on like a hundred different pairs to find the right ones. I only got the boots this time, but I notice all their other products seem like good quality, especially the shirts. I will definitely be back, and will ask for Tim every time!

Prices are a little steep at $30 but the quality was always good. The dude with the long hair who works here always helped me & was always cool with me until now. Has a distinct raspy voice which is easy to recognize. Never claimed he was the owner or manger whenever my girlfriend & I would go in there but he certainly acted like it. Not sure if it was done to avoid any heat from customers if accountability would come calling. Came here on December 19th 2023 to get my girlfriend a band shirt for Christmas. The shirt design wasn't to her liking which was no biggie, so we came back to see if we can swap it out for another shirt on New Year's Eve. Long haired dude wasn't working that day, but we were helped by a young female employee who was friendly. We came in and told her we wanted to exchange a shirt and showed her the receipt. She immediately gets on the phone with her manager to ask permission? The conversation between her & her manager was in Spanish, luckily my girlfriend is fluent. It seemed as though the owner was already defensive and rejected our request to ask for an exchange. My girlfriend asked to speak with him and he was put on speaker and immediately I recognized the raspy voice. He told my girlfriend that we only had a week to exchange the shirt otherwise we could only exchange it for another size. We explained that it was a Christmas gift bought a week before Christmas so there was no way we could've met the deadline. His tone was arrogant & unprofessional. Told my girlfriend that he explained that to me when I purchased the shirt which he clearly didn't because we were talking about him training a new employee that day. In his words he said, "If they don't ask me the policy I won't tell them". No 30 day policy or details are written on the receipt or anywhere in the store. He told us that "He's the owner & he can run the business however he wanted to". Sounds pretty shady & untrustworthy, especially to a regular customer who kept this business going. The young female employee had her mouth open and looked shocked that her employer spoke to us that way. Good job at setting an example for your staff, which we heard is getting paid under the table. This kind of attitude, tone, & behavior for a business is unacceptable. We won't be returning.

I already knew this store since before it opened in Riverside. Therefore I already knew what to…read moreexpect. Its nice and quiet. Very well stocked with shirts, shorts, pants and many more. Nice employees, as their instore inventory grows I look forward to coming back.
