I am very disappointed with Kohl's and its policies. One of the items I ordered was not available for shipping so I needed to pick it up from the store. I paid for the total and earned $15 in Kohl's Cash. As a paying customer, I was under the impression that I PAID for my item. I was unable to pick it up and assumed that since I PAID for the item, it would be held. When I went to use my Kohl's Cash, I was informed that it was revoked because I did not pick up MY item that I PAID for. The item was then reshelved at the store and I was told that it would be taken off my bill. I wanted the item. I paid for the item. I purchased it as a gift for my sister. I did not receive a courtesy call that it would be forfeit. I don't understand why this would happen. How is this a good business policy? The customer has already paid for the item. It has become a profit. Why in the world would any company choose to refund the customer for an item that he/she clearly wanted that was bought and paid for? Plus, the customer service I spoke to on the phone was very unhelpful. They tried to be courteous by English was definitely not their native language.
