Its a sad day. Today I have finally put a self-imposed no Macy's shopping guideline in my life. So I went into this location, as I bought a pair of pants in February, and yesterday while at another Macy's the saw the same pants on the clereance rack for $6.99. I paid full price for them in February...so I decided to go in today for a price adjustment on the pants...they still have the price tags on them. Macy's use to give you 90 days for price adjustments....well that is no longer the case. They now have a 10 day price adjustment policy. Now u may say....10 days...thats what most stores offer....well if I'm going to get a Target return/price adjustment policy, then I'll just do my shoppin at Target. So u know me...being a smarty pants, I tell the lady, well I'll just return them and rebuy them back. Nope...cant do it. We have to put the item out on the floor for 24-hours before we can allow a person to rebuy them. I even told her that I'd use a different card to pay for the items, instead of the one she was issuing the refund to....nope...cant do it. The lady did allow me to put the items on hold for until tommorrow and then come back in and buy them over...but I was out in Douglasville today handling some business...who says I want to take that drive again tommorrow to buy back some pants I already havent worn in two months. I am hard-pressed to give this store one star. They are terrible! NEVER purchase fine jewelry from them. That don't stand behind their own jewelry unless you purchase insurance at extra cost. The women at the fine jewelry at this mall are rude at best. Take your business elsewhere!! read more

I'm writing this review for Macy's ONLINE SHOPPING experience. I ordered a chair for $376. & change. It was advertised as being shipped in 4 days. As soon as my payment cleared the machine the ship date changed to 7-10 businesses days. LIE #1. I wrote a angry email to Customer service. I received a condesending reply . A few days later as I made arrangements to be home on the delivery date it was changed again to 3 days later, LIE # 2. I Wrote another complaint email about wasting my time and the treatment from the customer service rep. As I waited for delivery of the chair now for the 3rd date I received email that the chair was returned to the plant, no one knows why. Visited 4/4/19- This is the worse Macy's with maybe an exception to the Greenbriar Location. Macy's has gone down in recent years to a more pricey ROSS and uptight Staff when you can find anyone working. I wondered around in the Children's sections for over 20 minutes looking for a Sales Associate to assist with locating an item that I found online and stated it was available at Macy's Arbor Place. The Children's area is a hot chaotic mess! The racks are overfilled and not in their proper paces. I finally found a Sales Associate in the Men's Department.. she was no help at all because she was so consumed with small talk instead of servicing the other Customers in the line. If I can help it and at all possible I will NOT return to this Macy's. They need to have a hiring event to Staff this Store, its a shame but I will continue to drive to Lenox or Perimeter Mall for Macy's or maybe this is it for me? and close my account. I am beyond annoyed with Macy's.. What is last act? I absolutely hate that area of the store and since when are returns only done in one area? Macy's Arbor Place! Please do better read more

Wanted to find a suit jacket to match a pair of pants I bought there last year. Was there for 20 minutes without seeing a single employee in the men's section. I went elsewhere, was helped, measured and found a suit a liked within 20 minutes. read more

Looking for a Diamond for that significant other? Stay away from Macy's of Douglasville, GA. I purchased a pair of diamond stud ear rings from Macy's but the post was not made of gold and my wife had an allergic reaction in addition to the clasp being defective. Being a customer of Macy's for years (I'm 81), I did not think I would have any problem returning them. WRONG!! I was told I could not return them because all the paper work of the original package was not in the case. After numerous times asking, I could not get Macy's to tell me what was missing. My suggestion, if you still want to risk a purchase, get them to give you an detailed itemized list of what they want should the item be returned. Have it signed by at least the department manager or higher. Somehow, I think Macy's will go the way of Sears, Penny's and others whose time has past. There will be no more Miracle's on 34th Street. Both of my girls were so excited about prom shopping. They wanted the perfect dress. One that fit just right. I brought my son along as well. We knew this dress trying on thing was going to take some time. The fit of the dresses were not exactly working. It took time to find a perfect fit (my girls didn't want to settle since they've waited so many years to go to this important event ( plus we were paying over $150.00 each) We don't eat any type of fast food. We brought in a vera bradley backpack with waters and fruit for us all. Not one employee ask if we needed help, but one lady who came in during the afternoon was very strange to say the least. She banged a rack behind my kids and acted like she didn't want us there. She had security waiting for us when we left the store. He was above us on the second floor watching us. He followed us to Dillards (we ended up buying a Macy's dress online, but the ones left in the store were not the right match for my girls.) We went to Diilards and the security was waiting there at the escalators looking at us. We don't go in these stores that often, so I was unaware we'd be profiled for carring food and drinks around with us. I felt so bad that my kids had to fill like crap with this man watching us. This was supose to be a fun, memorable event for us. So sad that people can't ltrust one another...corporate training to suspect things and profile people that are not doing anything wrong. We will not be back to that Mall or any of the stores. At one point I wanted th e man to look in my bag...count my bananas and waterscti see if we needed to restock them. What a mess this world is in. Nutritious whole foods and waters will have you profiled in these two bit stores. read more
