The only reason this Macy's is getting 2 stars is because of the large selection of apparel and products. The last two times I've been to this location there has been a lack of customer service. The employees just chatted amongst themselves and never offered to help me in the Men's store. Made eye contact no smile no greeting. This is actually my favorite Macy's. I always find something cute in here. HOWEVER, it gets 3 stars because of their customer service. Premier Salon is a ripoff. Do not go here to get your hair done. Blowout price was determined at the discretion of stylist based on "hair type." I have just below shoulder-length hair and the stylist charged an extra $25 just to take out the flat iron, telling me afterward that this was a special occasion surcharge. The total was $70 - which I is more than I'd pay in New York City for a haircut. As for the actual quality, the blow out took 75 minutes and was mediocre - I could have done this myself. Macy's ,you should be ashamed to partner with such a dishonest establishment. Take your business to Dry Bar if you are in the area. read more

I placed 2 separate orders for boots. They went on sale 2 weeks after I purchased them. I was told that I could not get a credit for the difference. I placed the order on 02.19.21 and received an email that the were shipped about 2 days later. I was still waiting on the boots on 03.04.21. I called and was told that UPS created a shipping label but nothing had been shipped. When the Employee attempted to cancel my order and resubmit, of course, the boots were no longer available. I then get an email on 03.05.21 stating "there was an attempt for delivery but was unable to deliver" HOGWASH!!! I, like so many others in the United States have a "Ring Doorbell" I, like so many in the United States am working from home. I have received all of the other deliveries from Macy's. As a matter of fact, I received a delivery on 02.28.21-surprise, surprise. UPS came to my neighborhood 6 times this week, because I have seen them and my ring doorbell recorded it. Clearly Macy's doesn't care that UPS lies, steals and pretends that delivery is not possible. By using UPS, and clearly not checking to see why they are not making deliveries, as they are under contract to do, Customer's get the short end of the stick. Not to mention, they don't have these items in the stores so that this kind of issue can be avoided. I am completely disappointed with Macy's and their poor choices of delivery services. I don't feel that I am valued as a Customer and feel it's time for me to stop spending my hard earned money with a company that doesn't value me. read more

I don't do much mall shopping anymore, but when I do (and when I used to), I shop at Macy's. Macy's is one of the anchor stores at Lenox Square. Parking is CRAZY on the side of the mall. So you need to be patient. And careful. I liked that there is a Starbuck's in this store - my ex used to sop by there alot when we went shopping. Macy's has a big selection of everything. Definitely take time scope out the clearance racks. You can indeed find some nice items. Corporate offers tons of coupons via email. You can also find them on the website. Also located in this store is LUSH retail. Fun. Macy's has a special area for you to pick up items that you ordered online, but I wish they had more signage directing you to it's location. read more

I usually love shopping at Macy's, but this location was not my favorite. The clothes were not organized and half of them were on the floor. I never saw an employee pick up the clothes to hang them up. That was sad to see. This is a huge Macy's with a lot of selection, but sorting through it all is miserable! So, I was trying to help my boyfriend shop for a suit. We found ourselves in the Macy's men's department and I was completely overwhelmed; I had no idea where to start. That's when we met Charles, one of sales associates in menswear. Charles educated us on the various styles and sizing of suits and worked with my boyfriend to help find a fit that he personally liked and that one that looks great on him. Charles patiently waited for my him to try on suits, asked about how he liked them, and graciously helped until we had a suit that was perfect. Now he gets compliments at every wedding, dance, and formal occasion we attend. It would be a shame if we didn't mention how incredibly helpful this particular associate was. We would definitely go back to Charles if he needed another suit. read more

Shoe Shopping last night! Steve in the Shoe Dept. had the most outstanding customer service I have had in a long time! And Lady's you know how crazy it can get in when Macy's is having a Shoe Sale! Steve had the one shoe area working it himself! He had the patience of Jobe'! and kept this great customer service attitude the 2 hours I was there. Most of the employees in the shoe dept. at Macy's don't really seem to be in a hussle during shoe sales but not STEVE! I ended up buying 5 pairs of shoes and will definitely go back to see him! Customer service is completely lacking at the jewelry counter. I tried to get assistance at the jewelry counter for 30 minutes and no one seemed interested. However, housewares had a helpful employee, and the lingerie department had snacks and ladies who asked if I needed assistance. I overall do not like this location, it's too busy, can get unorganized in the junior clothing section, and has spotty service based on which department you're in. read more

So I went last nigth for an event they were throwing for wedding registries. This was my first registry and they made it easy. We got a scanner, a list, and they had extra staff to help up along the way. I mean really what do I know about cookware sets and plates? I mean do I really need chargers in life? Well the friendly ladies there helped walk us through finding the items we wanted and needed. There were a few vendors working with samples of great cake, good heavy apps, and even a photo booth. We were there for two and a half hours and it flew by. Great job Macy's making us feel welcome and helping us find the perfect duvet cover and shams. Shams though....really I need a pillow cover for my pillow case on my pillow....but it makes the old lady happy so what the heck. The only thing they should have had were some power tools like a chainsaw. I mean I would use a chainsaw as much as a sham after all. read more

In the area for work and staying at the JW so made it easy to walk over and browse. I was looking in the miss/career section looking for more work dresses and tops. There was 1 sales associate at that section, she offered assistance to everyone except for me. It was pretty obvious she didn't want to help me because she asked this lady 5 feet from me if she needed help and never turned to acknowledge me. I know Macy's not known for their service, but this blatant display of ignorance and (possibly) racism?! OK, so this review is based on me visiting the Macy's in Herald Square, NY. That place is the flagship of all department stores and honestly I wish this one was even close to it. So much could be improved. Cashiers were dreadfully slow, there was almost no one to talk to and get help or advice. I literally walked around and searched for employees instead of searching for the things I was interested in purchasing. Also when someone finally "helped" they were so pushy and sales oriented in a way that stuck out like a sore thumb. I mean, yes, they do need to sell, but at least make your customers feel welcome before you start shoving sales pitches down their throats. Overall, not a nice experience. read more
