I would have a party here, but if they want to elevate this as a wedding venue, there needs to be some major renovation to the pub and the restrooms (specifically the ladies room). There's a little footbridge to cross from the parking lot to the actual space which is actually kind of fun for pictures and feels like you are on a little adventure. I can not speak to the service (other than the bar...pretty typical experience...not enough bartenders for the crowd indoors...outdoors was a bit better later in the evening). The bar catered to beer drinkers, of course, and the only wine they offered was Pinot Grigio for $9 a glass, but it was nice and refreshing on such a hot day, and at least it wasn't something disgusting like Moscato. No fault at all to them for that because that was the situation at every bar we went to. Service was friendly, the shot was nice and strong, and it was a nice little spot. Beyond drinking, there isn't really much going on in the bar in terms of activities, but there were TVs. So, watching sports here is definitely an option. The sound quality wasn't bad for being pitched around in the wind, there was ample space to move even though it was a sold out show, and while you still spent too much money on plastic cup drinks, good music on a boat sailing around the Boston Harbor made it worth it. I'll definitely be scouring the lineup again this year for good shows - if you can't get on board with a summer concert cruise I'm pretty sure you're a freedom-hating terrorist, and you and I should not be friends.
