This place was an unexpected find, organized by a member of my Rock Voices choir. A group of about…read more20 of us reserved a private room for karaoke during their Happy Hour. The staff were super friendly and helpful, bringing drinks and food when it was ordered and generally otherwise staying out of the way except to explain how things worked. There were two large monitors on opposite walls where the lyrics to selected songs appeared, L-shaped seating along two adjacent walls, a computer off to the side where you could select your songs, change the order, adjust the volume of the singing, and two mics were provided. We were able to find most of the songs we were looking for from Elvis Presley to Chappell Roan. We had a blast and the two hours flew by. Would go again in a heartbeat.

The server was new, and messed up quite a few drink orders. In addition the app that Viva Karaoke…read moreuses for the private rooms kept glitching. The words did not match, sometimes there were remixes to songs that were not recognizable and it took up quite a bit of time. We were only offered 15 extra minutes for the inconvenience. They should utilize another system or find a way to do a systems check ahead of time. It was frustrating. I would also recommend an updated playlist. I was with friends so still had a good time. The main room karaoke was tons of fun though! We went out there once our time in the private room was up.

Nestled below the lobby of the Revolution Hotel, it was a perfect spot to enjoy a few drinks without going too far! It was a fairly small space, but their drinks were WONDERFUL! We showed up around 9PM and it was pretty empty, but as a an hour or so went on, it did start getting busier. They have a nice, open dancefloor, but seating is pretty limited unless you 1) show up early or 2) Reserve a spot at a mini table ahead of time. We didn't reserve a spot, but got seating at the hightop right away. Their Moscow Mule, Non-Alcoholic Beers, and Dirty Martini were absolutely what we needed to wind down the night. However, I will say that the music is a tad bit loud and the vibe was a bit in between a club & mellow bar scene.

First off, you are a cocktail lounge so you dnt need to put the standard ones on the menu and fill it up. It's anyways a small menu so your bartenders are not overworked with many options and then you pour Manhattan from a premade bottle. If am there next time, maybe to support a few local DJs I know and follow, I'll stick to beer. Now for the service: never felt comfortable and the staff for whatever reason always felt gave "I dnt like my job" vibe. No smile and always with get outta here fast or dnt ask me for stuff vibe. All this when the crowd is minimal and always before 10PM when the crowd starts showing up. I am still struggling to figure out if they want to be a Hifi listening bar or a night club. A place which seems like a lost opportunity and trying to get on making cash by hopping on the trend train.

Summer's here so it's time to hit up the rooftop bars and enjoy the beautiful weather! Sky Lounge…read moreis located on the top floor of the Yotel Hotel. Once you get in, there's a small lounge area on the left and then a larger lounge area straight ahead where the bar is. They have small tables with couches and local artwork ond display. For their drinks, their mixed drinks are average, but they only had 3 beers on draft which was a disappointment. They do serve some bar food and snacks, but like the drinks they're overpriced. I've been here twice and there's usually a wait for the rooftop. Once on a Saturday I was quoted up to a 3 hour wait that was actually 45 minutes and on a Sunday it was a 15 minute wait. I put my name down and got a friendly text when my turn was up. The view is pretty good, but not the best since it's not by the water so it's mostly looking at the city and large apartment complexes. The rooftop is small with 4-5 tables, a TV, and some seats. It seems like they allow around 40 people in at a time. Overall, this a cool place to hang out with friends this summer!

Who doesn't love a Penthouse bar?…read more After you enter Yotel, make a left to the elevators. Once inside, hit that shiny PF button and enjoy the ride. I like how it is set up like a lounge, where they have couches available for big and small groups. You can also just sit at the bar to grab a drink. There are also tables on the terrace, but it is not always open during the winter months. When the door is unlocked, it is worth checking out the view for a couple of minutes. The bartenders can be a bit hit-and-miss, depending on the night. I wouldn't take that personally. Just order your drink and focus on your company. They will come around like 15 minutes before closing and asking you to close your tabs. Supposedly their lobby bar stays open later than 11 PM, but my friends and I tried going then got turned away by the lobby bar as well. I have always had GIN CRAZE $14 (Beefeater gin, lemon, simple, raspberry puree). It is pretty solid.

Loved all the games on the tables to play while waiting for our ping pong table to be ready. We ordered drinks at the bar and I loved my Curious George! So good! We got some snacks at the ping pong table and they were good too. The fries were cooked perfectly but the pepper ketchup wasn't my favorite. We ended up ordering 2 fries so I must not have minded the ketchup too much. We got the hop pop chicken tenders and found them to be ok. They were a bit overcooked, so they probably would be better less crisped. The place is huge! The employees were continually walking around scooping up all the ping pong palls and making sure everyone was taken care of. I love the net tool they had for collecting the balls. My niece loved the ping pong ball bath. She jumped in it about a dozen times. I wish we had something like this near me, it was great family fun and could turn into adult fun in the evening with lots of amazing drinks.
