My desktop computer died two weeks ago. She was getting old. I think it was 1917 (woops! 2017; I'm…read moregetting old.) when I purchased her and some of her parts were failing. I sat down at the computer, pushed the power button and nothing happened. I mean NOTHING happened! So I went to Cal Tech to let "tech support" look at it. (my grandson is no longer available.) Mason advised I just replace my tower, so I took myself and my credit card to Best Buy where I purchased a lenovo computer CPU that looks like a tiny spaceship. I took the new "little guy" and the tower of the old computer back to Cal Tech. Mason efficiently moved my data to the "little guy", and did so at a reasonable price. I have since then dealt with Ethan, Matt, and Brent, the owner, who answered the phone on a Saturday! All of them have been considerate and clear in their explanations. I have felt respected and welcomed...the kind of business interaction I had when I moved here in 1979. Thank you guys! Charlene

I went in and tried to explain my issues with my computer, and the guy just said "ok". And didn't have any customer service at all. He seemed like he didn't even want to have a conversation and had no care in the world for any issues you had. They said they would charge me 150-225 depending on what's wrong. I was okay with that. Then when I was getting my computer back, they said it was it was just a bios update and that he's just gonna "charge me 225 just to update the bios". So why am I being charged for something so simple? Again, I've been here before and never had any issues, I don't know what was wrong with them this time.

Now he is helping my husband and me plan for smart use of technology in a home we are building. He has helped me through ALL of the tech-related challenges of my life! Justin really is a "digital life coach," a title that once sounded funny to me but now I see is no joke at all. I agree with other reviewers' positive comments, but to me, the best and most important thing about Justin is how he makes me feel. Justin makes me feel safe. He never makes me feel stupid or behind the times - important for a senior like me. When I have a session with Justin, either in person or online, my feelings instantly change from frustration to relief, then to pride when I finally learn the thing. He even welcomes the big-picture questions that I sometimes have, like "Will we never be free of passwords?" "Why is Apple better than PC?" "Where is society GOING with all this technology?" His liberal arts education is a huge plus here, making his mind broad and humanistic enough to appreciate such questions and make positive contributions to my understanding. The annual fee I pay to consult with him whenever I need help is a bargain. I am very grateful to be Justin's longtime client and expect to keep working together for the rest of my life.

They recovered one contact file from one email (we have 5) but after numerous calls and email requests that went unanswered, that's all we got. We never expected them to do any of the transfer work for free and stated this several times. Still no call back or email reply. I'm scared we've lost all our contacts and information. In a last effort to recover, we've requested our old hard drive and PC and will take it elsewhere to recover the lost information. *UPDATE* They were able to retrieve nearly all our lost contacts. I have my office computer repaired twice and just now I have returned home with my 2012 Macbook Pro after having it "tuned up". (FYI it runs better than when I originally purchased it). For Apple my computer is "obsolete", so I brought it to Will and got a "brand new old" computer. I know there are Macbook Pro users out there who've had (or will have!) the same issues I was having, and will probably feel like their only option is to buy a new machine. DO NOT FEAR, friends! These guys will take care of you. In addition to addressing my original concerns, they also installed a solid state hard drive to improve performance, which I am SO SUPER grateful for because my computer feels brand new again. I CANNOT recommend these fine folks more highly. Seriously. On top of all my personal computer repairs Will is phenomenal when it comes to making sure your business isn't a target of ransomware threats. He has the foresight to make sure everything is backed up daily/weekly/ monthly depending on your needs, you have multiple working copies, and have the ability to use a copy within minutes. Why pay a ransomware threat when you can be safely covered and never have the headache of trying to figure out how to run a business with no backup data and pay to get your own data back. I say give him a shot.
