I hired Rick Wilson to complete the installation of my new MacBook Pro. The data from my old Mac…read morehad already been transferred from my old Mac. All that remained to be done was to connect the two monitors and update the software. Rick decided that it was necessary to reinstall the data from my old computer. He did this from the backup drive, which was not up to date. When that error was pointed out to him, the transfer had to be done again from the old computer. All of this redundancy took several hours, for which I was charged $550. Two days later, I discovered that my email program would neither send nor receive, and all of my email history was gone. I tried calling Rick Wilson twice to ask that he rectify the email program. He did not answer, so I left voicemails explaining the problem, but he never returned my calls. I also sent two text messages, which also were ignored. Now I have to find someone else to finish the work for which he was overpaid. The quality of work I received from Mac Services does not speak well for the professional competence of Rick Wilson. More importantly, failure to respond to calls and texts doesn't speak well from his ethics or integrity.
