There's also a very wide variety of crackers and jams! It is a bit on the pricier side, especially for meats, but the amazing staff makes up for it. The staff is incredibly friendly and will guide you to buying the best items just for you. Even though it's just meat and cheese, the whole experience felt very personal. The staff is taking COVID precautions seriously and I've never felt safer in a small store. They also have curbside pickup available.

The donuts and baked goods at WSMD are homemade and enticing, but we passed them by for the breakfast sandwiches, which are freshly made to order. The breakfast sandwiches were hands-down the best we've every eaten: freshly cracked eggs broken and over-easy, with local Vermont cheese on freshly homemade english muffin, and a few dashes of Tabasco (my addition). Wow. My lunch sandwich was also delicious, with firm home-made bread and nice helpings of very fresh ingredients. Very satisfying. Both items were so/so. The wrap is too expensive for the amount of food inside as it's mostly tortilla. The sandwich was ok, but not something he would get again. Atmosphere is a gas station deli, with some outdoor seating. We took our food to go both times. We will return, but will stick to the freshly prepared items.

I asked the female counterperson to provide "EXTRA" Au Jux dipping sauce (even if I had to pay an additional charge for it). She said that she had no way to "charge" for the extra sauce & she was not willing to provide the "extra" sauce free of charge, ONLY what was comes w/ the sub. I told the female counterperson (who REFUSED to give her name) that I would send my complaint(s) (TWICE) to Firehouse Subs corporate office & because they would NOT honor my request, this store LOST OVER $125 in sales in 1 month! So, my suggestion: If you expect good customer satisfaction, do NOT go here! I will take MY business to Subway, where you can get what you want, the way you want it! David Flood
