Place is never consistent and takes awhile. This is one of my favorite spots, so I come here with some patience. However, the last couple of times have been extremely disappointing. Longer wait than usual, for lower quality food than usual. I ordered steak tips medium well, and as you can clearly see, they are not. Watery teriyaki sauce with no solution provided other than "there's nothing wrong with it". I've gotten this dish plenty of times and it never looks like this. Won't be back for awhile.

We were happy to be pointed to this restaurant by another local resident at Firehouse Grille( unfortunately their kitchen was closed.) The servers were very pleasant and sweet. We were greeted and sat - they have a huge bar and a separate dining room too. I ordered a Caesar salad with no protein. The sals was huge. The coupons were crispy and solid. The best part was that the dressing was on the side and I could just dip into the dressing. To finish the meal we were treated to Andes mints.

Our go to whenever, we live three towns over so we aren't "locals" but close enough as we drive by all the time. Their food is top notch and service is extremely attentive. Cool bar scene and tons of seating, they get busy so be prepared for a wait depending when you go. Food is awesome, best restaurant chili out there, try the potato skins with chili. Mac and cheese is great, hand breaded chicken fingers as well.. literally everything we have had for years was good.

Our check to show our times from when order was put in and we left taking half our food with us.

Also note, Thursday nights blues jam is kinda the best thing you'll ever do in Lewiston on a Thursday night. Thursday! 7/1/11: Grayer days Lewiston, grayer days. Old railroad tracks, working class roots, this old bar, an improv blues night and the audience, plentiful. Scrunchies still adorning the copper highlighted ponytails of overly tanned women in their thirties. Everyone slightly off and no one fashionable except the musicians, clearly high timing in a small town, fedoras just so. Cartoon lobsters with shades on, off brand track pants and the requisite new England lack of eye contact. How long have you been sitting on that barstool, sir - how many years? 7/8/11 This ain't new York city, or LA, no. Mr bluesman you are correct, here in this dark, seedy, working class dive where all that matters is your improvised words, notes, sonic bliss... Sold for free to the tired citizens of a worn out, angelic town, built on industry, dripping with soul. Reverberate off the walls, this old bar, the cathedral across the street. Reverberate the two odd centuries of strife, of worn hands, of working the mills. Lewiston has the blues.

That being said, the male staff members are unbelievably sexist every time I go. I've gotten hit on by the bartender who proceeded to get my order wrong and tell the random man standing next to me that "chicks can be so god damn annoying" when I asked him to grab the drink I ordered from the fridge behind him. The bouncer told me a couple of days ago when i was at the front of the line that "with that kind of behavior you'll never find a husband." I don't know what behavior he was even referring to, but extremely disappointed by my experiences at the cage.

I would love to know where they get the decor for this place. I'd imagine a lot of flea markets (fabulous ones)? It's hard to pick my favorite decor item because there are so many, but it's somewhere between the chairs shaped like hands and the giant silver octopus tentacle under the T.V. Ooo and the corner with all the clowns! Drinks are strong and cheap. The bartenders are friendly. There's a patio, but it's a bit small. There are plenty of comfy chairs/couches. They have live music pretty often, so if that's your thing, you'll be happy there on weekend nights. The only thing is the space is kind of small for live music, so it can get really loud. This is an excellent chill option if you're in Hallowell and want to skip bars that tend to get a bit fratty like The Quarry Taproom. Highly recommend!

Friends of ours wanted to play some pool after we had dinner nearby at Lucky Garden, so we did exactly that. It was a slow night and no one was waiting for the table, so we played about 4 or 5 games and had a lovely time. The decor is awesome, the bar is clean, and the staff were friendly. I've always had a good time here, and I enjoy the artwork too!

Linda M. 020 7 days…read moreago My mom and I went tonight (Tuesday 7/1). She had boneless wings. We both enjoyed our meals. Mom loved her wings. Tender and moist. I loved my salmon especially with that delicious maple bourbon glaze. They put enough to mix with the rice. So good!!!!!!! the broccoli was cooked perfectly, not too hard/not too soft. I really hope this restaurant stays. I have one concern.....the parking, yes, for the customers, but more so for the restaurant staff. Restaurant staff are getting parking tickets. What's the point of working downtown if all restaurant staff tips go to paying parking tickets? I suggest the owners of all the restaurants downtown talk to the city of Lewiston, and ask if restaurant staff could get a free pass to the garage after they show proof of employment. Use a sticker on the window IDing cars exempt from payment to the garage. City of Lewiston, please step up and help hard working people not lose their tips to parking tickets. Don't want to lose good workers due to parking tickets. Lewiston, you have wonderful downtown restaurants. HELP KEEP THE HELP!!!!! Abby was amazing, kind, attentive. Enjoyed her very much. The ambiance was relaxing. The lighting is prefect, not too dark, not too light. There were not many people when we were there, probably due to no available parking, so I don't know the noise level. I could guess, based on the height of the ceiling I would think it would be noisy, echo'ey, if it were packed. But not so loud as to prevent a conversation with your party. Definitely will be going back. I want to try ahi tuna next. Linda Lavoie Mckinney

First visit was nice as we sat out on the side patio overlooking the small brook that flows past. We just had a couple apps and drinks and our server was very nice. Last night we went back for dinner and sat at the roof top bar/patio area. It wasn't busy so the one server was handling us and another table nearby that were friends of ours. The outdoor seating and deck games here for the kids were the highlight. The server was nice as well. What brought our review down were a couple things. On the roof top bar they serve the otherwise nice craft cocktails in small plastic cups instead of glasses. It's hard to pay $16 for a nice drink out of a 6 ounce plastic cup. The bigger issue was I ordered the Cobb Salad and was only told after it was delivered that they were out of avocado (a main ingredient in a Cobb Salad?). The waitress apologized for not telling me in advance, which was a little weird as it meant she knew when I ordered they were out. She did take 20% off the cost of the $20 salad but if she had told me in advance I would have ordered something else. Also you can add chicken to the salad which I did and asked for "buffalo" chicken expecting some fried tenders in buffalo sauce. The plate came with a few very small strips of grilled chicken breast drizzled in buffalo sauce. Grilled chicken with buffalo sauce? That just seems weird to me. Anyways nice atmosphere, some nice staff, $200 before tip for four people? There's a lot of competition in that area so we will probably go back for a patio beer sometime and maybe an appetizer but not a full dinner at that price.
