Had an issue with the steering box and they were the only dealership that could figure it out. My local dealer was clueless so I drove back to Orlando and told them you have my truck until you figure it out. They did. I have been taking my truck here ever since. Over four years of routine preventative maintenance and a few warranty things. Even worked with me on my visors when they failed. They gave me a loyalty discount. Ask for Tyrese as a service rep or Trace. Both will make sure things are taken care of.

Worst car repair experience EVER…read more.. On 3/24, after years of sharing a car w/my husband, I woke up & just felt it was time to buy a car. Still in my pajamas, I plugged in a few requirements - clean car fax, service history up to date, under original warranty, black exterior, & under 25k - that's it. I didn't have any particular vehicle in mind. I was getting what I needed - not what I wanted. 1st car that popped up was a 25 Jeep Compass. My son likes Jeeps so I hit the buy button after checking the service history, warranty, & car fax. It was the easiest car purchase ever... almost too easy. The jeep was delivered a few hours later - looking better than I imagined. I should have known - nothing is that easy!!!! Carvanna left the car in my driveway. I dove in like a kid on Christmas Day does to the tree!!! Started her up and proceeded down the street STOP RIGHT THERE!!!! Car felt like it was struggling to accelerate. My only history of a 4 wheel drive car is from over 30 years ago. I thought maybe I had to do something different so went right home to be responsible and not risk doing anything to hurt the car. I logged into Carvanna to see if a manual was in my account to see what could be happening. This is when I found the car had an open recall. I do not know if that was something I missed or Carvanna does not put it on the account until after purchase but the open recall issue sounded exactly like what I just felt. Off I went to the closest Jeep dealership. The service advisor there told me they were integrating a new system and it would probably not be until Monday. They would look at my car. This was on Wednesday. I said the Carvanna trial period would end and I could not wait that long. The guy was very nice and called Greenway Dodge. They said come right over. Great. I arrived Wednesday, March 25 & spoke with Trace. He was pleasant - he handed me a coupon to go to the enterprise rental car that is in the dealership. This is very convenient. There's no charge everything is covered under warranty. Fabulous left, thinking they'll figure everything out & I'll go on about my life. WRONG!!!!! 3/26 Trace sent me a message saying they were still working on the car, but they were not finding any issues, however the factory recall had been done. I reiterated that the sound was equivalent to bad brakes. He asked me if he could keep the car overnight and that the tech would look at it again in the morning OK... 3/26 I was told there were not any issues and to pick up the car. I took the drive out there again which by the way is almost two hours in traffic roundtrip - not fun... I got in the car and heard the same noise that I described immediately. I grabbed Trace and he went for a ride with me. Sure enough he could hear the sound. He told me that it was the ABS brakes and that was fine. I didn't feel fine, but OK - I was hoping he was right - proceeded home and the car starts flashing all sorts of lights at me. NOW WHAT!?!? 3/30, I had to drive the car back there & again drive home with a rental car while they tinkered with it. Later that day they told me there was nothing wrong with the car - even though I had sent Trace pictures of the flights flashing something clearly is wrong with the car because flashing lights with all sorts of warning messages don't come on when nothing is wrong. 3/31, Trace said they drove the car for 25 miles & there was absolutely no issues so pick up the car. 4/1 make the drive out there again, get the car & before I am even out of the parking lot sure enough here comes all the lights & warning signals again. Once again, I am driving home without my car, wasting gas, money and my time. This time they confirmed my complaints & said it was a bad BCM. 4/3 I'm told to pick up the car again. I was told everything was fixed. But apparently not because here we go again I'm not even out of the parking lot & the lights are coming on again. I go back and speak w/Trace. He said maybe I got a bad defective part. Could I get a defective part or these people just completely incompetent to fix things correctly? At this point, I'm no longer interested in dealing with Greenway Dodge. 4/4 with only three days left to decide what I am doing with this car, I take it to another dealership. I explained my situation to the service rep and he was very clear that it's their job to figure out the problems. This was absolutely refreshing. 4/6 I dropped off my car & by the next morning the other dealership had fixed it once and for all. They also found a leak that Greenway did not find. Not sure why Greenway couldn't get their act together, but I do not recommend anyone go to the service center.

-Bought a truck that was meant for auction - True Story…read more DO NOT Purchase from Greenway Ford. DO NOT BUY vehicle with vin that ends in: XXXXXXXXXXXB75904 We purchased a 2021 F-150 on Nov 27, 2022. It simply died in just 26 days. It wouldn't start and couldn't be jumped. The very first words we were greeted with by Greenway were "there's nothing we can do for you, you should have bought an extended warranty". The encounter was cavalier and flippant. Greenway conveniently forgot this is a certified pre-owned and still has factory warranty. We found out from a different Ford dealership (closely dealer from our location of breakdown) that this vehicle was already riddled with the same issue for 9 months and a solution was never provided by Greenway. It was all on their internal repair records. Greenway's own service department informed us that this vehicle should have never been sold. He couldn't fix it for months and Greenway directed them to take the vehicle back from the customer. This customer has an extended warranty. The service team member could not believe it was sold again, without a resolution. We have an audio recording of this conversation. We even tracked down the previous owner who was utterly shocked that this truck was ever sold again. It was in the shop for 2 out of the 5 months during his ownership. He informed us that they never could fix it and offered to trade it back. Not only it wasn't fixed, it was sold to us for thousands of dollars more. We also have this on audio recording. We were finally granted a meeting with the General Manager 11 days later, while our truck still dead in their possession, and she expertly passed us off to a junior sales associate in less than 10 minutes. We were intimidated as her degree on the wall states that she's an attorney from a prominent university. We requested for the transaction to be reversed. They said it's impossible since our trade-in vehicle was already sold. We asked for our money back to make us whole, they said they've never done that for any customer. Greenway Ford also suddenly and magically stated that they now know exactly how to fix the truck, after they couldn't do so for 11 months. We requested for a complimentary extended warranty on the still dead truck to demonstrate their confidence in their product and their ability to fix the issue. They refused in a patronizing laugh. They were aggressive with intimidating sales tactics. We were completely wore down and defeated. We had no other option but to trade the dead truck back in and pay an additional $15,000 to resolve our problem. We didn't want a brand new truck. We didn't want to exceed our budget by $15,000. We didn't want to buy a vehicle that was plagued with an issue that they knowingly couldn't fix. Greenway's only defense was, "we couldn't reproduce it. We drove it for hundreds and hundreds of miles". The very definition of "intermittency" is that the issue cannot be reproduced at will. They also only drove it for exactly 175 miles without issue then deemed it fit for resale. They knowingly sold a vehicle with recurring issues that was never fixed. It should have never been sold again. It is a brilliant business model to sell two cars to the same person. First time with a shiny but deadly vehicle as bait to wait out the legal timeframe then wash their hands. If an issue occurs within the legal timeframe, they take the car back, sell something else to the customer to make the second profit, then sell the problematic car again to the next victim. Rinse and Repeat. We were completely taken hostage, negotiated at their mercy, and repeatedly victimized. We filed a complaint with Ford Motor Company. After hearing our story, the Corporate Ford employee was horrified and suggested that I "should file a complaint against Greenway Ford with the Better Business Bureau immediately". We also filed a complaint with the Attorney General. We are in contact with the State Representative and an investigative reporter. Greenway intends to sell this truck again. They said so themselves. Go to Mullinax Ford Kissimmee. Drive a few more miles to avoid this deceitful practice. Don't become a victim like us. Thank you for reading.

My girlfriend and I bought a car from Asael that worked at this dealership. It was a month ago that…read moreshe went there looking for a car. Asael showed her a Fiat and she wanted it. Long story short, she put $1,200.00 down and the payment was supposed to be either $280.00 or $285.00 per month. 2 weeks go by and Asael tells her that she owes money for Taxes and other fees that he forgot to add on. She agrees and asks him to wait until she gets paid, which is every two weeks. He agrees and then gets fired from there. Apparently, he did not tell the dealership, So they come and took the car in the middle of the night. By the way,I'm out of town all this time so cannot do much to help her. It seems that they take advantage when they think is just a woman all by herself. She calls them during the day after they repossess the vehicle and asks them what's going on and then explains to them what had happened and her agreement with Asael. The car had been making a strange noise,Which she had told them about, but they did not try to look at or fix. She spoke to someone that is supposed to be a manager there and was told that she would have to pay at least $1400.00 to get the car back. There is no way that we're going to pay another $1400.00 For a vehicle that is having some type of mechanical issues and for fees that were not disclosed in the beginning. Do you want to know what $540 was for? FOR TOWING THE CAR BACK TO THEIR SHOP WHICH IS ABOUT A MILE AWAY!!! I called a tow truck company and they gave me an estimate of $55 for the same tow. A tow that was not only unnecessary, but really illegal. How you just going to go and take a vehicle without even finding out if we had made our payment or anything like that? Obviously, they are crooks or they would have reimbursed her some of our money. No more than $300, which would have been almost the monthly payment, is really what they should have charged. How are you just going to tow a vehicle without contacting the vehicle owner? These people apparently know nothing about customer service or taking care of people properly. So, for three weeks they basically charged us $1200.00 I'm also considering going to the Better Business Bureau about this. They even tricked her into signing a paper by scaring her and saying that she owed $1400.00. If she signed the paper then they would not go after us for the rest of the money for the vehicle. Are they serious? So, they give her a car that has mechanical issues, refuse to fix or even look at the problem, take the car in the middle of the night without contacting her, tried to charge us an extra $490 for towing the vehicle for about one mile, and then convince her to sign a document to avoid any liability, because they know they are wrong and took advantage of her. There are so many other dealerships out in the Orlando area, go to one of those and stay away from this place.

Now as far as maintenance... well that's another story. Came here sometime last year to get my oil changed and I waited 3 hours!! before I asked for an update. The lady that was my service advisor was very rude and unprofessional when I asked for an update. Literally have no idea why she was so rude, it was a genuine concern why it took 3 hours for my oil to be changed. I come today to get an oil changed and before I had handed over my car, I mentioned that my Washer Fluid light kept coming on and even after filling it up, it would turn off and than a few minutes later it would turn back on. The guy helping me was...not sure how to describe it but mumbling much of the time and it was very hard to hear/ understand him. I waited AGAIN 3 hours and asked for an update. This guy was vey hard to understand and he mentioned how my Coolant tank was completely empty and I had no coolant, don't know much about cars, but I do know that couldn't have been possible (the fact that I had no coolant) because my car would have overheard on the drive over (a good 30 minutes from my house). I went back and forth with him asking questions and could hardly get any proper information out of him. In the end the technician that was working on my car, pulled me into the back and "showed me" what he did. Basically saying he checked my coolant for any leaks, and said I had none. And that he filled my tank up. He also stated that my washer fluid tank had fluid in it. I then proceeded to explain my coolant was never "leaking" from my knowledge but I had thought it was my washer fluid. As the light kept turning on and there would be nothing in the tank. Not sure if they really weren't understanding what I was saying, or they were just avoiding the issue but I had to leave for school. 5 minutes down the road my washer fluid light turned on again :/

I still think the car I purchased may have stolen parts on it, but there's no way to tell, because there are no serial numbers. A random guy walks into a place called Colonial Carz and they expect us to act like buddies, and buy a used car without allowing so much as a Carfax report? Clearly, this place is not operating above-board. I wouldn't even consider buying here unless I were quite experienced in the car buying business.
