He is professional and kind. I'm delighted to have had this procedure done. He gave me my life back. I can take on any airport, Disney World, and yes, I can even run! It is very painful the first 2 weeks. Physical therapy came to my home for two weeks. Then, I went to physical therapy near my home. The cortizone shot did absolutely nothing for me. One of the best decisions I have every made to have the knee replacement surgery. Carilion took excellent care of me before and after surgery. I'm thrilled that it is over, but absolutely manditory that I did it. I am Pain Free, totatlly. We are so fortune here in Roanoke that Dr. Adrados has come here to be the brilliant surgeon he is!

Also they charged me $35 more than my co-pay. When I asked the front desk clerk about the over payment she got annoyed. I still did not get the refund from their office, it has been over 3 months since I went to that office.

Surgery was in May. I called office and the nurse told me that it wouldn't have anything to do with my surgery and I would need to go to urgent care. I asked is it dangerous and she stated well I can't tell you that only urgent care can inform you . So I asked again so this wouldn't be a follow up to my surgery because I have had problems since I had it done and she states no. The office has screwed up 3 appointments of mine as well. I showed up for an appointment and first they say or you have no appointment today and I said yes today is pre- op appointment and the front desk tells me well Dr. Farmer is off today so you can see PA. I should of realized then not to go forward with surgery . Even though my knee was killing me and I had a torn meniscus (which wasn't fixed during surgery , PA stated they didn't need to as it wasn't in the way with my knee), my knee cracks, grinds and pops when I try to bend it and I can't get past 50 degrees. The office won't assist you in getting an appointment and urgent care isn't that great either . First time I went to there I was told nothing was wrong with my knee. Even though my knee popped very loud and I dropped to the ground . I'm very disappointed over this whole ordeal. Depressed is a under statement .. don't go to this office . Dr Farmer did a manipulation and knee works wonderful . I informed Dr Farmer of all my concerns and he addressed all of them and everything was fixed !! Thank you Dr Farmer. I should of been more informative with you in the begging and expressed issues that arises.

Dr. Moscal performed my hip replacement in 2022. He left behind a piece of metal in me. He said it…read morewas the end of a saw blade that broke off. Also, I have a 1" leg length discrepancy (my hip replacement leg is now much larger than my other leg). As a man in my late 40's prior to the hip surgery, I asked for a form fitted replacement (no screws or cement). I ended up with screws. Dr. Moscal was not forthcoming about any of my issues after the surgery, including the fact that the surgery took over three hours (a regular hip replacement is more like 45 minutes). This may have to do with the fact that he performed two surgeries at the same time. As I was being wheeled in for the surgery, I noticed there was another patient being wheeled in ahead of me. I asked why someone else was also going into the room for surgery. They said that Dr. Moscal always does two hip replacements at the same time. Dr. Moscal seems to like money. It is unfortunate that Dr. Moscal desired to line his pockets at my expense. As of now, I have complications with my hip replacement. I have an ongoing clicking in the joint and severe pain that other care providers have said has to do with an over-sized joint cup and abrasion from my hip flexors. I have nearly a one-inch leg length discrepancy and a chunk of metal in me left behind by Dr. Moscal. I do not recommend Dr. Moscal as a surgeon to provide your hip replacement. Zak Dowell, PhD

After 20+ years of chronic pain and other related illnesses, I finally have the treatment I needed for genetic syndrome that MJ ignored.
