If you EVER need PT, I highly encourage you to visit them! 3/22 idiotic split second that led to a knife injury 4/5 surgery to repair nerves and tendon 4/7 splint placed 4/11 first PT session with UPT I made the CHOICE, because in healthcare you NEED the power to choose, to go to UPT. Tyler has helped me after injuries and surgeries before. For me, the choice was easy. Go somewhere I trusted. See someone I trusted. See someone who knew me. Be in a place where I can feel confident in the care and guidance I receive and truly feel 'seen' as a patient. More than ever before I'm willing to put in the work. More than ever I have to 100% recover from this. It's my hand. It's how I work. It's how I ride and listen to my animals. It's how I type a pub out each month, and so much more. It's the hand I hold my husband's in But Tyler also knows me well enough to know I'm impatient and eager to heal. And he's smart enough to call me out on that. But today. My god... Today Tyler told me he felt I had a really good prognosis. He told me I have a really good chance of healing safely, fully, and recuperating my left and right side (overuse after injury to left). I'm going to come back ready to work, and lift weights, and thrive! 6 days post op my physical therapist made me feel good about the future, something I've been waiting 20 days for. Most of the pts are men, and sometimes there's a bit of a boys' club ambience. In addition, I often shared my therapist with another client during a session. I was not really comfortable here, so I returned to a therapy center I had used at least twice before.

I selected this practice since I could be seen for an initial eval the day after getting my MRI results. Also, they took our insurance coverage. 1st eval was by Dr. Siegel's PA, who is specially trained in Ortho. She consulted by phone w/ the doctor who was in surgery that day at the hospital. Since the diagnose was ligament damage, a rupture, surgery would be needed for a repair. I came back next day for a surgical consult w/ Dr, Siegel. I was scheduled with-in 3 days for surgical repairs. He does a lot of sports injuries as well as the other Ortho type of problems/repairs. Doc Siegel has an ebullient (Adjective: Cheerful and full of energy) personality ( a good thing) and a direct manner. He answered my questions with information, also a "good thing". Would I recommend Dr. Siegel to family and friends? Yes. Operation went well at MRHosp, but that's a diff review! :) Lots of exam rooms and pleasant waiting area. The equipment seems adequate and the support staff was friendly. Be on time since they kept to their schedule when I was there. The location is functional and clean. There is parking right out front and a ramp to the door. No self opening door so bring a friend to help if you are on crutches, or wheel chair.

I visited first because of persistent back-pain from my bad deadlifting form. Then subsequently over the years for various minor aches and injuries I've accumulated. He and his office are very efficient with your time (no one wants to spend too long at the doctor's office) but you never feel rushed. I also like how Dr. Belluzzo's goal has always been to get me treated in a way where I no longer need regular chiropractic treatment - maybe just a check-in and maintenance every couple of months. His goal isn't just to treat you - it's to get you as well as you can be! I really like my experience here.

I went in to pick them up and one of the receptionists (far right) claimed she called and left a message. Funny to find out I pulled my verizon call history and had no missed calls from them, although she insisted she did it. Turns out the system lost my x-rays so they were willing to work with me and scanned me again. When I went back into the room they had me marked down as my right foot although I've never had issues with the right and when I went, my left was the only one evaluated. They did the scans and told me to wait back in the waiting area. The entire time I was waiting, the same receptionist was making sly comments about it being my right foot and that it even said that in the chart. I'd understand if my right foot was affected in the past but it's always been my left so that must've been the nurse/Drs mistake which is a common mistake when charting notes. I tried to stay friendly and even told them to have a nice day when they handed over the disc and the receptionist just said "uh huh" as I said it. I honestly don't know how she is staffed at the face of the office. She is very unprofessional and unpleasant. Definitely doesn't have patient care in mind. Will never go back there and will steer people away. It doesn't take much to just be a nice person.

All I had was planters fasciitis but when I came out of surgery he had cut up my tendons and ligaments and sewed my foot back up like that. I spent two years in horrible pain and he had me so jacked up on high doses of hydrocodone it wasn't funny. After nine months of trying to work and walk another foot surgeon saw me trying to walk had me come see him and told me I had a failed surgery. This Dr had to correct the surgery that Zelen had done all the while telling me that he corrects all of Zellen's screw ups . I had to have extensive surgery to shift my heel back over three inches with a screw in my heel and had to have all of my ligaments and tendons repaired. I do not recommend this Dr to anyone who wants to walk properly. I guess he thought a kiss on the cheek every time was going to keep me from telling this horrid experience but take heed. He is less than desirable as a surgeon. That's my experience.

I found Balance Wellspace Integrative Medicine, which advertised that it helped with these issues. After reading the reviews and researching the company, I scheduled a preliminary consultation to see if they could help me with my problems. I told them that I had been struggling with this for over five years and explained that traditional medicine offered no answers. The team at the center conducted an evaluation and provided me with an 8-week plan consisting of three sessions per week. While there was no guarantee that their treatments would help, they led me to believe that they had treated others with similar conditions. They cited cases in which other patients had resumed an active life and engaged in activities such as playing golf. After faithfully attending each session, I noticed no change in my symptoms or function, which was a clear sign that the treatments were ineffective. I believe that they should have known, following their initial evaluation, that they wouldn't be able to do anything with their treatments that would actually work for me. I invested a great deal of time and money in what appears to be an empty promise. While I know there was no guarantee, I want to warn others before they put time and money into an empty promise.

I would DEFINITELY recommend going to University Physical Therapy; they are both so nice and so caring.
