Also they charged me $35 more than my co-pay. When I asked the front desk clerk about the over payment she got annoyed. I still did not get the refund from their office, it has been over 3 months since I went to that office.

Surgery was in May. I called office and the nurse told me that it wouldn't have anything to do with my surgery and I would need to go to urgent care. I asked is it dangerous and she stated well I can't tell you that only urgent care can inform you . So I asked again so this wouldn't be a follow up to my surgery because I have had problems since I had it done and she states no. The office has screwed up 3 appointments of mine as well. I showed up for an appointment and first they say or you have no appointment today and I said yes today is pre- op appointment and the front desk tells me well Dr. Farmer is off today so you can see PA. I should of realized then not to go forward with surgery . Even though my knee was killing me and I had a torn meniscus (which wasn't fixed during surgery , PA stated they didn't need to as it wasn't in the way with my knee), my knee cracks, grinds and pops when I try to bend it and I can't get past 50 degrees. The office won't assist you in getting an appointment and urgent care isn't that great either . First time I went to there I was told nothing was wrong with my knee. Even though my knee popped very loud and I dropped to the ground . I'm very disappointed over this whole ordeal. Depressed is a under statement .. don't go to this office . Dr Farmer did a manipulation and knee works wonderful . I informed Dr Farmer of all my concerns and he addressed all of them and everything was fixed !! Thank you Dr Farmer. I should of been more informative with you in the begging and expressed issues that arises.

The Gonstead method (Chiropractic field) is the hardest type to learn and also the most effective because they are very exact, unlike other types of chiropractors that snap you in many places instead of the root cause at a specific vertebrae. I am so grateful we have this in the Roanoke Valley. I have been sleeping and taking naps all my life and after a light meal I would have to lay down (in my 20s!), even after eating a light salad. Turns out the my upper thoracic vertebrae were bent and after only 2 adjustments I could feel the difference and I no longer take any naps. My neck also is very stiff and the X-ray showed that it is completely straight when it is supposed to be having a natural curve. Because you are realigning your spine, you may feel some dull aches until your next adjustment, which is normal so don't be alarmed - when you got braces, there are dull pains as well, but it's not bad at all. I look forward to every adjustment because I know it's a step closer to healing my body the most natural and effective way. Someone else I brought here has had chronic pain and could barely breathe deep breaths, after the first adjustment, she could take a deep breath. This person's indigestion is also gone, what took 1 entire day to digest a light meal, now they feel it is digested after a few hours. A chronic TMJ for 12 years was fixed thanks to his help, in one go! No more aches and pains every day, and jaw locking when extending it all the way down. Truly a blessing to have this fixed. I no longer accidentally bite the side of my mouth when chewing food (the jaw would snap different directions) which would leave a sore that would take weeks to heal. Funny enough, 3 years after I had the TMJ, I went to an orthodontist and they said it would go away with braces, BUT IT DIDN'T! My TMJ finally went away when Dr. Adams gently moved it back to its proper alignment, I can chew and my bite goes very vertical now. I am so happy with how he healed me right away. His staff Lisa is extremely friendly and polite and kind, and so is Dr. Parker Adams, who is an amazing healer. I have brought at least 3 people here and have seen results that are all natural, and gradual, and life-changing. If you have any chronic pain, indigestion, sleepiness, tired, exhaustion, chronic back pain, etc. and you've tried so many things like vitamins, acupuncture, etc. and it still hasn't helped, it's probably because your spine is not in alignment. Edgar Cayce, the great healing psychic, mentioned we all need gentle spinal manipulation, and the Gonstead method is it. Prices are very generous and fair. It is worth every penny. They truly want you to heal, so however many times you need to go, just go. You will see results after the first, second or whatever # of adjustments. It is a gradual and natural process. Do yourself a favor and heal yourself naturally with Dr. Adam's expertise in the Gonstead method. Whatever your ailment is, it is very likely that that it is due to an improper alignment of the spine. When you see people with a hunched neck or spine, it's because they need a spinal alignment. As people age and get older, the spine goes out of alignment, but that doesn't mean when you age, you have to have dis-ease. Forget that paradigm and negative belief, it doesn't serve you. Go to him, before you go to any other type of Chiropractor, make sure you go to one that specializes in the Gonstead method, because the other methods won't do miracles for you.
