This place is A-OK! It is good, not great…read more As Lawtons locations go, it's definitely middle of the road. If I were grading it, it'd get a B- for "Satisfactory." If it were a student, it would blend into the background - not outstanding but not under-performing either. Above and beyond? Heck, no! Perfectly adequate is just fine!

This drug store location is my most frequented, simply because its so close to my place of living…read more Besides the factor of convenience, there is nothing about Lawtons to keep me coming back. Its a tidy, presentable store and covers all the basic tidings. Last minute trip? Yes... its the typical drug store to the rescue. With a postal center, medium-sized cosmetics section, pharmacy and all the isles in the between, Lawtons is likely to satisfy most. However, as a reoccurring customer, I've noticed poor, untimely service on more than one occasion. The people at the front cashes always seem to be more than adequate; however, its the cosmetics and postal peeps that have been off their game. I can say with confidence that EVERY time I've browsed the cosmetics section, I've been either blatantly ignored or exposed to loud conversations between staff members. If they, then, see me, and choose to make the effort, its never been with regard. This is a section of a store where people look to employees for expertise, and its just not present here. I've had a few bumps in service with the postal counter, as staff consistently appears stiff and reluctant to serve. The job gets done... but how about a little pep. Not a lot... I realize customer service can be grueling. But could you stop acting like I kicked your puppy? Sheesh. I'd like to see some friendlier service here to back up the convenience. Here's hoping, but I won't hold my breath.

If you've ever thought to yourself "this drugstore could use a second floor" then you're in luck,…read morebecause this one has it! On the first floor you'll find the huge cosmetics section (my personal fave), cleaning supplies, cashiers and the grocery section. If you're looking for cosmetics this is the best place to come for huge selection - they have a huge beauty boutique (Chanel! Urban Decay! Clinique!) and a good amount of affordable cosmetics too. Their NYX section is pretty great, though I still find myself popping between here and Lawton's as their stock varies quite a bit between the two. Upstairs you will find the pharmacy, seasonal goodies (mmm chocolates), hair care, cold and flu medications - the rest of the things you'd expect to find in a drugstore. This pharmacy is the best one I've ever been to - the staff are very helpful and caring, they explain anything you may need to know and I never feel rushed if I have questions.

Absolutely ridiculous service would recommend going quite literally anywhere else for pharmacy…read moreservices. Pharmacists working July 23 evening lied to me multiple times and would not fill a prescription as promised, flip flopping between what seemed like made up reasons for a simple prescription not being filled. Pharmacists said at 2 times the order was ready for pickup, to which I went for pick up and simply had my time wasted, not to mention was treated as if we hadn't spoken multiple times and with a very bad attitude. Hard to believe how bad the service is here.

This is a new store and I figured a review would help draw people to it, and they could experience…read morethe quality of care I received. I think a lot of folks forget what it's like to be treated like a paying customer and not a loitering pain in the arse. I have special needs that require certain home heath care equipment that simply is not available anymore. I could not seem to get any help when I called many of the pharmacies in the HRM. I am used to being treated in a rather surly manner by pharmacists...especially when asking for the special equipment I need. However; I thought of this place because they're new and home health care oriented. Jacinda is the pharmacist and she is the one who helped me. She did not have what I was looking for in her store, so she called several others for me while I waited. Like my last review of another drugstore, I have to point out the quality customer service. I really appreciated the steps Jacinda was willing to take to locate the equipment I require. She was not able to locate what I needed in other stores around HRM either but she is actually calling the supplier to see if she can't get what I need at her location. (*UPDATE on this...She ACTUALLY did find it and I was super happy, so another star for Moffat's Pharmasave) I'm glad I've discovered not one but two places in the last 3 weeks with people working there who actually care about the person calling, their needs and extending themselves to a standard of customer service that seems to be a dying art in the retail world. Thank you Jacinda. And it was indeed, a pleasure to meet you :j

I have been using Moffat's at Gladstone since they opened, when my previous physician moved to that…read morelocation. It has been a wonderful experience to receive service from the two pharmacists, Leigh and Jacinda (I hope I spelled those right). They are both incredibly helpful and knowledgable. They care about my health and go the extra mile. They have reviewed options for Tier 1/Tier 2 drugs for optimal coverage on my health insurance plan and called my physician to discuss alternate medications. I have learned that building a relationship with a pharmacist over time is incredibly helpful as they follow your care and have so much knowledge about the medications you are on. This pharmacy also offers free delivery if you can't pick up your prescription. I believe they also offer a number of care services for a fee such as flu shots. Even though I have moved to a new physician located on the other side of town and this pharmacy is out of the way for me, I go the extra distance for the quality and friendliness of their service.
