My insurance is always weird to figure out, and they helped me out very kindly last time I went in for a prescription. This place is awesome!…read more Sure it is not open 24/7 but the service and knowledge more than makes up for that - this is what a pharmacy used to be - where you can ring up and ask your "your tummy pills" or another refill of "those little white pills" and the pharmacist knows what you want and your medical history - priceless in my book. It's a surprisingly good little place with a friendly staff. The first time I went in, I did find the small space to be disorganized with shelves in the middle of the floor, but it's otherwise pretty clean and the layout has improved. I've never gone here for a prescription, so I can't comment on that, but they have a pretty good selection of over the counter pharmaceuticals and toiletries for such a small place. They have a variety of convenience store snacks and drinks and even some simple packaged grocery items. The only downside is the fact that it closes before 6 pm on weeknights and is only open 10-3 on Saturdays and 10-1 on Sundays.

Not good if you're working during the week & need something unexpectedly in your off time, especially when there is nothing nearby like it except a couple convenience stores (which overcharge) I live a block away & would prefer to support this store over convenience stores but it's tricky to get in there. I don't get my prescriptions here because it's too risky if I need a refill unexpectedly and they're closed. Feel a little bad cause it's hard for a small business to be open a lot of hours all the time. :( At least they are open on Sunday a little! I'll up the stars if they ever expand their hours

It's like a drug store PLUS, haha. I love poking around Lawton Drugs for food items I can't find at home in Ontario. I usually find a few items ;) Be sure to check out the clearance section! Lots of good deals to be had.

Their cashiers and floor staff were often (than not) consistently nice and friendly. At one point…read morel was gonna use this as my pharmacy but decided not to after having interaction with the guy pharmacist. It was a wise decision since someone told me that they/he messed up atleast 4 times with filling. Wouldn't he, the pharmacist recheck everything that their assts/techs did?? I know mistakes do happen but the consequence is what makes a big difference!
