My insurance assigned Unique Tow company to tow our Tesla when we noticed the car had a dead…read morebattery and did not respond. We had the doors open but could not close due to the dead battery. We emphasized this multiple times with the tow truck driver when he arrived and he responded "Yeah I know not to close." We helped him load the car on the truck with the door open due to this. A couple hours later, Tesla informed us that outside of battery replacement, there's also a window damage that requires replacement. When checking the car in person, the door was closed and the window is cracked. The tow truck driver never tried to inform us and just left. We attempted to contact the owner of the tow company and he said this is nobody's fault because the car had a dead battery, and that broken car windows "just happens." We contacted the owner, but after some correspondence the owner ghosted us. Ultimately, the company is not taking accountability for the situation that took place with our car, if you are looking for a business that takes responsibility look to get your towing done elsewhere!
