This guy is awesome! Needed a Non Op car I recently purchased Towed from east side San Jose to Santa Clara by the airport. He met up with me, picked my car up and dropped it off all within a hour! Only cost me $50! Basically he smoked half his cigarette loading and unloading. Quick easy and fast! It was a little difficult communicating, but its understandable since he's busy and always driving around! read more

Picked me up at 10PM after I had popped my sidewall running over an island in the rain. I had them drop me off at the nearest tire shop and the driver was extremely helpful in providing me direction and handling my vehicle. He was careful getting my car on the flatbed in the rain up to unloading it and parking it for me on the lot. His prices were competitive and I was actually expecting to pay more compared to the other tow companies I've worked with in the past. Maybe it's San Jose prices but even then, at 10PM the price I paid was low! Definitely deserves more than 5 stars as he was quick, careful especially in the pouring rain, and he offered to give me a ride if I were going near his destination. Cool dude and very grateful was available so late at night. read more

My husband's 1973 Chevy Nova needed to be towed from San Jose to Hollister. The tow truck driver from AAA made a bs excuse that he couldn't tow it because the exhaust system was rusted and that if he loaded it on a flatbed it didn't have enough clearance and would snap the system off, and basically weaseled his lazy self out of towing the car. I called V&B and he was at my car in 10 minutes. Loaded the car up without a single problem or mention of any issue with the "rusted exhaust system" and hauled a** to Hollister in an hour. If we ever need a tow again this is the only company I will use. I'm sorry I didn't get the driver's name but his expertise and work ethic did not go unnoticed. Thank you for your outstanding service, especially after the waste of 3 hours waiting for AAA only to be turned down with a bs excuse!! Edited to add that V&B's price beat every other company I called. I'm seriously impressed and glad I found them! read more

This company is amazing!! Remarkable customer service, super patient, and so accommodating. I cannot day enough about how grateful I was to find them on Yelp. I was ad to have my daughter's car towed over 20 miles and they were fair and easy to work with. THANK YOU!! Rockstars!! read more

V&B Towing - Towing Near Me

OMFG!! These guys saved my arse! Sorry, I would have said the 3 letter word, but I don't want to be vulgar on Yelp. I was in need of a tow truck, after I found out my poor car was damaged. I couldn't get my car to move at all. I wish to tell the details, but I'll skip it. The life of me was heartbroken. I couldn't think of anyone that was cheap enough to do it. I was thinking about calling a few friends or families to help me out, but at 3AM?! No way! Of course, my Yelp app came to the rescue! I found V&B to be my first choice. Thanks to fellow yelpers for pointing me towards the right direction. I read a few reviews, before calling them! FYI...they are open 24 hours! I've found them to be cheap, efficient, and the guy was super friendly! Thanks Vicente! C'mon, a woman in need of help at 3AM?! Heck, I was happy that I got help quick. Best $40 spent with these guys when I needed help with my car. Would I use them again?! Hell yes! How could you say no? If your car is not within the San Jose area, it'll be $60+ which isn't bad in your wallet, now is it? Trust me, you'll be happy after you've used their service. Flat bed, fast service, and cheap....those three magical words are awesome to hear! read more

Due to the high cost of living and high price of diesel fuel. v and b towing it's no longer charging $40.00 local tow! We tried charging $40.00 for over 8 year so it's about time for a change of price. Whenever you need a tow service please call for a quote before approving a call! We are so sorry for the inconvenience! read more

V&B Towing - Their flat bed - Towing Near Me

See all

Called and Vincent answered on the first ring. Gave me a quote on the spot. Good price. Blessed that he was close by and 15 minutes later, my car is on the back of his flat bed truck. 15 minutes later, I'm at the shop. From first call to end of tow - done in 35 minutes. Can't ask for anything more! Some places would have you on hold for that long. read more

On the phone sounded super professional got here and was wreckless and irritated said he couldn't tow the car. This is a complete show car with a welded mustang II front end I have towed it many times to big shows out of California he started talking to someone on the phone in Spanish little does he know I understood everything he was saying. Being concerned about my car I just wanted to check how things was being put on I ended up having to show him the front soft strap spots to tow it and in the back he just threw the big tow hook on my rear end it's powder coated he ended up chipping my powder coat BEWARE read more

I didn't have roadside coverage for my car but I called Geico anyways figuring that's easiest. Their company wanted $125 cuz they said where I was it was considered freeway and that costs more. Okay fine. Then said 2 hour estimated arrival. No way. V&B came out in 20 min and towed me to a tire shop for less than half what Geico's company wanted. I'm definitely keeping V&B's number for next time. Super ast and friendly. What more could you ask for? read more

Its a great towing service. There is a reason I gave them 4 stars and not 5. I took help from them to tow my car 1.6 miles from my home to an auto repair shop. They charge you less if you tow the car within San Jose and if you move even 0.1 mile into another city they will charge you more. This is what happened with me. Believe me or not, I wasn't even aware that the auto repair shop was 0.3 miles inside Milpitas from San Jose. Charging me more just because of the reason that it was 0.3 miles inside Milpitas, doesn't sound fair to me. I did not try to trick them and neither did they. But, I think they should consider such edge cases. Rest everything was great, the person who came was polite & helpful. Anyone taking help from them, please clarify the exact address where you want your car to be towed and finalize the deal accordingly. read more

Wow! I'd give Vincent 10 stars but 5 stars will do. Problem: Long sitting 1999 Mercedes, battery dead, doors locked (electronic locks dead due to battery) and no way in, and I needed it towed to my mechanic. Tow + Unlock Engagement: - Left voicemail. - 5-10 minutes called back. Told Vincent about the issue and he confirmed my car model and year. Said he would call back. He called back within 5 minutes, said he could do the unlock and he would be at my house in 45 minutes. Quoted me a great price - including the UNLOCK! Arrived on time. Within 30 seconds he popped my door locks. Loaded car onto his flat-bed without incident and delivered to my mechanic. Done! Everything you want in a tow company: - Rapid response - Knowledgeable - Skilled (lock-out master!) - Friendly - Car delivered - No games - Great rate And to the one-star reviewer who said Vincent hung on you after you asked him to waive the $5.00 credit card fee, really? Vincent's prices are amazing - honestly, he should charge more. He does great work at great prices --- good for him to hang up on you. PS - love his Ford 350 flat-bed. It's a beast! read more

If I could give no stars I would. He was very rude and didn't know how to properly strap a older car. He thought I didn't speak Spanish and was talking shit about the person I was with in Spanish for no reason. We were very friendly until the end. The owner of the car literally got on the floor to strap his own vehicle and when he was just checking the rear to make sure it was secure as it was an expensive vehicle the tow guy became upset for him checking and said I'd rather not tow and took the car off, we waited nearly 40 mins for him to immediately just remove the car and we were just trying to make sure the car was hooked good. I would never call him again for a tow or recommend him to anyone. read more

Service was nice and friendly. Best part is the boss guy checked back with me hours later to make sure that my car was fixed and that I didn't need additional tow. Thank you! Would use again, but hopefully I won't have to. Prompt service. Called and requested a specific time and he was right on it. Tip: if you need to ride with them, let them know so they can prepare a seat for you. read more

I have bad luck with cars period. So when my trusty Honda Prelude broke down (again) and nobody had any more tows on their Triple A to spare ... I turned to yelp. I found V&B Towing here and read about their flat rate here in San Jose, so I called to see how much it would cost for me to tow it to Milpitas. I was half expecting their price to double but they said $50. GOOD SH*T!! They were here in less than an hour and they didn't give me any bullsh*t. I gave the guy the address to my mechanic and off we went. (I was in another car.) I had a stop to make before meeting them at the shop, but they waited patiently and my car was unloaded and on the lift once I got there. Then ... a few months later my car breaks down yet AGAIN. Who did I call? V&B! I didnt know where the hell I was at, but they found me! And the guy wasn't even bitter about having to look for me! He cracked a few jokes, loaded up my car and met me at the shop. I broke down at 1030am and my car was at the shop before noon. That's some good service for your ass! read more

This was the best towing experience that I have ever had. I called hoping to make an appointment and he was able to come get my car in 40 minutes (there was traffic). He towed me to two separate places with no complaints. He cared about me as a human instead of just trying to get the car from one place to another. Vincent answered all questions I had and made some great recommendations for further auto needs. Saved me sooo much money and eased my stress. Do not ever bother using any other towing company other than V&B towing, I cannot stress that enough. read more

I highly recommend these guys!..And I definitely put there number down on my cell phone in case of emergency or if anyone asks me of a good towing company! My car started heating up & blowing a lot of smoke from the engine once I was getting off the exit ramp of the freeway. I manage to find a parking lot nearby, called connects and was referred to these guys. They called me asked where I was at, and came in less than 30 minutes like they said they would. They loaded up my car very fast and careful, And got me home in about 10 mins... But what I like most about about them is that for only $40 they performed their jobs like pros, most towing company don't give a F%&K about your car and seem to just be calculating prices in their head on how much their gonna charge you (average is $90, plus a certain amount for the mile, and other bullshit)..These guys just unloaded my car and charged me what they said they would in the beginning with no bullshit aside..which is what you need when your already feeling worried about your car... read more

L-E-G-I-T. 24 hours, funny guy, $40. COME ON. And it's not even a rickety thing that a truck pulls. Bed and errythang. Hes very quick also. I've used this company twice and every time we've been beaten to the next destination. Just save this number into your phone and just wait and see. Maybe your friend might need it but trust me when I say its handy. read more

Just got my car towed from this guy and I will definitely add him to my phonebook. Through the help of Yelp, I found this guy and gave him a call. He told me that he would be able to help me in 45 minutes and so he did. Told him to meet me at my work in Santa Clara to tow my car to my parent's house in San Jose. He only charged me $60. He provides great value, is fast and efficient. He operates 24 hours. read more

My damn car broke down right in the middle of lane of 280N, right before the Foothill Expressway Exit ... at 8:00am on a Monday morning ... I know right?! Talk about worst case scenario for a car to break down. Anyways, a kind stranger helped push my car to the side (and he left before I could say thank you! :[ I hope he doesn't think I'm an ungrateful fool who doesn't know what to do in case of automobile emergencies), and I Yelped a good Towing company and this place came up! $60 to tow my car from that horrid exit to my home in Sunnyvale. They told me 30 minutes but they came in about 15. Great people. Definitely saving them on my phone because I know this isn't going to be the first my car breaks down! read more

This company came out in the middle of the night to tow my car that was towed erroneously by another tow company. The man answered quickly and arrived fast and towed the car home and unloaded it perfectly in a difficult driveway at my home. Such a nice man that came and helped me and my kids. Very affordable. read more

Great transaction! Called Vince on Friday and got a quote to move a 1951 Chevy Pickup from Mount Hamilton Road to 10th Street in San Jose. Called and confirmed Saturday's pickup. He was at the house on-time. The truck was being moved on the flatbed and has not been moved in years. He had to access the truck in a barn and a somewhat muddy area. He got the truck loaded quickly just like an expert. The 10 mile journey for the old truck was $80.00 plus a $10 tip. This was my 18 year old sons purchase and he took care of the driver like a pro. I would not hesitate to recommend this company! A+++++++ five stars. Thanks Vince! read more

Whats the phone number to report to child services ? This guy had his 6 year old son with him and the kid was operating the truck bed ! Hahaha, all jokes aside, these guys are good, and his son operating the truck bed next to daddy just brought smile to both me and my gf's face. Simple no frill service, but extremely professional. I would use them again anytime, and the $40 rate (lowest price found) was just icing on the cake. They even stopped by a gas station so I could refill my tire with air because it was flat. 2 thumbs up, 5 stars, whatever you want to call it. Only way it could have been better is if it was free. read more

Very professional got there on time and was carful about the whole process. Very reliable even on short notice.

In the end, i'd choose this service again. The price is right and the service is good. Definitely will recommend this guy to anyone who needs a tow. read more

What more can i say. Found him on yelp. Gave him a call since my moms RX350 waterpump seized up. Said he be there in 30 minutes. Came in 25 minutes. We needed a tow truck since my brother in law's car broke down on a Saturday afternoon in downtown San Jose. They arrived very quickly. They told me it was going to take them 30 minutes to come but only took them 15 minutes. Towing the car from downtown SJ to Fremont, about 30 miles costs $75.00. They were also friendly and helpful. read more

Having a classic car means you need to have the car towed on occasion. My car had been in storage at a friend's house and Vicent knew exactly what to do and how to move a car that is tough to move. I had set up the appointment earlier in the day, and he was there to take care of everything. The new storage place for the car was very difficult with a narrow road and sharps turns. He knew exactly how to use his tow truck to move the car into place without having to push the car by human force. He stayed until the car was in a good spot and was all about doing a good job. Thanks for all your help! read more
