There can be additional appetizers and deserts for purchase separately. With advance notice food can be made gluten free and vegetarian alternatives are available for the fixed menus. The staff are kind, knowledgeable and professional. The places has only five tables so be sure to make a reservation. I would give 5 stars but it gets very noisy with the hard surfaces all around.

It was tender, lightly poached in lime, with a refreshing serrano and I think cucumber garnish. What followed was a salad of spinach, pear, pistachio and a light avocado crema, and fresh made sourdough bread with spread choices of nutty huitlacoche butter, the smoothest black beans I've ever had, and a take on chili crunch with a fruity puya chilie spread. We ate the black beans with puya chile on top even after the bread was gone! The third course was a whitefish taco on a freshly made blue corn tortilla, accompanied by a smoky, just spicy enough chile morita salsa with peanuts. On the side were marinated cucumbers, cool enough to counter the spice of the chile morita. For the fourth course, I had the carne ranchera, a beautiful steak cooked perfectly and cut like butter. It was accompanied by a bean and bacon medley that enhanced the steak flavor without being overpowering. My husband and my father had the pato con mole, a confit duck leg with a perfect mole sauce and carrots roasted with sesame. Along with this course we were treated to pickled vegetables, more fresh blue corn tortillas, and a third chile salsa. My husband and father also had the ricotta flan for dessert - so light and the caramel was rich without being cloying. Finally, we were treated to a single bite hazelnut petit four that was the perfect end to our meal. The wine list is extensive and varied, as is the beer selection. There are NA beers and mocktails available as well. All in all, this was probably the best meal we've ever had in Door County, in 20 years of living here. The Salgado family has made quite a food haven for upscale Latin American food in Door County - a cuisine sorely lacking in authenticity and quality here. I'm excited to go again and see how La Sirena evolves.
