Terrible service. There were 3 open containers of random spices at the front counter. I asked the cashier what they were in English and he just shrugs and waves his hands at it. Food is only ok and so I don't know where they get the idea they can treat their customer experience so poorly. Great sandwiches, but the sides are hit or miss and the service is super slow. The chicken sandwich was great - think Popeye's but with mayo - and just as huge. BUT the rest of the order was cold :( The Cajun salt was nice but being charged 75c felt like a rip off. Service was SUPER slow, with our order taking about 25 mins to make. Pretty pleasantly surprised with Macho Burger. I had seen it open and was curious about it for the longest time. A fried chicken and chicken burger shop... what was its differentiating factor? And it's called Macho Burger... why? Such a strange choice in name. Then, I found it served the 'Chinese' style fried chicken sandwich that I love from McDonald's and KfCs in China. Crispy, juicy, and made with chicken thigh. Still, I had pretty low expectations, and I would say this place exceeded them. Bun was fresh, meat was juicy, lots of fresh cut lettuce and mayo with a sweet honey butter (this part was unexpected as I don't think the ones in China have this). The only complaint is the spicy sauce or seasoning is a mystery orange sauce injected in the meat. It reminds me of the mystery orange sauce injected Krispy Krunchy Chicken if anyone has had that. The orange color really freaks me out. Pretty sure in China, the spice and seasoning does not come from a mystery orange sauce. Overall, enjoyed it. It's a large burger, and the price reflects it. Tried this place after a hard ride since I burned the requisite calories to eat this type of food. I'm impressed, I'm not sure what I expected, but what I found was the best chicken sandwich of any chain. Chicken was flavorful and the crunch was incredible. I ordered the spicy sandwich and personally, I'd bump up the spiciness from a 4 to a 5.5. I went around 2:30 and the sandwich and fries were nice and crispy so kudos t the staff. The sandwich combo after tax and tip was around 21 dollars so it is pricey next time, I'd forgo the soda and just get the sandwich and curly fries.
