My world was shattered on Friday, in the parking lot at work lol. I spent my whole lunch break on the phone with Apple and scheduled an appt for next Wed. My phone is pretty much my lifeline so I wasn't sure how I'd be able to wait that long. Friday evening, a friend suggested MacGuyz, which is less than 5 mins. from home. This establishment was great! I had a MacBook that I had inadvertently "installed" some adware. They were really nice about it and didn't make me feel dumb, which I did. The transactions were quick and they were able to explain to me without mansplaining to me how to avoid making the same mistake in the future. I would highly recommend them. They are fine for fixing an iPhone, however when it comes to your MAC beware. They did the do a repair with a 90 day warranty on a Powerbook which I later sold. EXACT SAME issue came up with new owner and they then claimed it was due to a bad mother board. Not only was this diagnosis wrong, fixed by another shop by simply reseating a hard drive cable they replaced, it put me in small claims court. The VERY worst part of the experience was giving out my personal information, password on the compute and copies of my paper work without my permission, in fact against my permission. BEWARE of them giving out private information to whom ever they please which may include any iPhone repair work orders. read more

I just went in since my iPhone screen went dark. The technician helped me right away with a 'hard restart'. (I had tried that but I didn't give it enough time). The guy didn't make me feel silly for such an easy fix and he didn't charge me. I first stopped in to get my laptop​ looked at for an issue a few months ago. They took a look and told me what the issue was, it didn't need any service and the consult was free. Then my I​ phone screen shattered and I ran over and they had it replaced, cleaned in an hour and I was bake to work. I was very pleased with their​ professionalism, quick diagnostics​ and cleaned. I severely broke my phone and brought it to MacGuyz. Everything was perfect until I came back and picked up my phone. The price was right (about $120 for my iPhone 6). When I went to the store for pick up, I had asked for a screen protector to be applied since I am prone to accidents. When the guy had put on the screen protector, it was super sloppy and there is a massive bubble at the top of my screen that will not seem to go down. Within a few days and without any drops or any hits, my phone screen has already developed a small crack in the corner! 3 stars because the service was perfect besides my screen protector and the quality of the screen. I will now have to go to another place for removing the old screen protector and adding a new one. read more

Dropped off an old MacBook that was not running right, super slow, and wouldn't complete a download of new operating system. My husband said just go get a new MacBook. But I don't use it that much. I couldn't see spending $1200+ on a new MacBook. A friend recommended I take it here and see if they could fix her back up. They MacGuyz were great! i did not want to spend my day off at the apple store and wait another 3 hours like i did last time so I was pretty happy to go in for an hour and sit there and chat while they worked on my shattered phone. i definitely know where to go if something happens like that again... These guys know their stuff! Went through several days of troubleshooting with Apple Support reps, and still no solution. Was ready to trash my old 2007 iMac, but decided to take it here just to see if there was any hope. Right away they had several ideas of what could be wrong. Turned out it was a problem with the graphics card (don't know what that is) but it was fast, easy and cheap! (Compared to buying a replacement computer). And my old dinosaur is still chugging along. In fact I'm typing this on it now, and it's good as new! Not once did Apple suggest a graphics or logic chip. In fact they advised me to wipe the hard drive, which I did, which it turns out wasn't necessary. Kicking myself for that one! Anyway... good company, friendly people, know what they are doing! A+! What more can I say that hasn't been said of the Macguyz. Excellent work performed and fair pricing, something rare these days, can be had here. My wife's 5C stopped charging. We checked with Sprint and the only solution was a new one at $400. Nope. Checked Yelp and made it to the shop 10 minutes prior to closing. The guyz never rushed us and even helped two more customers after the posted closing time. Robb swapped out the Lightning charging port assembly, checked the operation and sent us on our way. $49 later and everyone was all smiles. Came to mac guys today to get my iPhone six repaired and was so happy with the customer service I received. The two young men that helped me were both so nice and friendly and went out of there way to make sure my phone was repaired right and also quickly. The service took less than an hour and they even replaced my tempered glass for free without me even asking for it. Not only did they do that but they only charged me 20$ to dry the water up that was inside of my phone and also to put my screen back in place. I love these guys! The first time, they updated my iMac's OS in less than a day -- a job I was afraid to tackle by myself. The second time, they replaced the iMac's melted drive with a solid-state drive, made several sweeps to retrieve the data from the old drive and put it on the new one, and updated the OS again. Plusses: Rob calls to tell you what he's doing, he explains clearly what the problem is and what the options are, and he can even make you feel like a computer whiz even if you aren't one! This downtown Redlands business could easily qualify as an affiliate to the Apple "Big boy" stores. Clean lines, lot of glass and employees who actually seemed to enjoy working there. My apple device issue was handled by Devin, with professionalism and courtesy. The price I was quoted was the price I paid. In fact , less than other bozos you find on the internet.
