I was incredibly unhappy with my prior OB/GYN for various reasons- long wait times, unapproachable staff, unpersonal experience etc. After sharing my discontent, my sister-in-law referred me (practically demanded I try) MacArthur OB/GYN. I initially tried to go to her same doctor, Dr Dominique; however, she was out on maternity leave so I was referred to Dr Freeman. I have been going to Dr Freeman for the past couple of years. During that time, I referred 2 of my best friends to her- both of which had babies delivered by Dr Freeman and they have continuously expressed their gratitude for me referring them over. After seeing Dr Freeman for all of my GYN care the past couple of years, I was more than pleased when I became pregnant and she began providing my OB/pre-natal care as well! It took some time for my husband & I to get pregnant this time around and it was an asbolute joy sharing our trials, upsets, and finally excitement with Dr Freeman- she showed genuine excitement when my pregnancy test was positive! Dr Freeman is not only incredibly knowledgable (she amazes me sometimes because she will know exactly what's going on with my body before my labs even come back to confirm) but she is an incredibly compassionate doctor. Not only that, she really takes the time to get to know her patients (she remembers my kids, when we take family trips, the sports they are in, etc) and always shows concerns (when I've had irregular labs come back, she not only sends an email on the online portal but rather than having her nurse call- she calls me directly to explain my results and to answer any questions I may have). She always makes me feel at ease discussing any questions I may have. Additionally, I am guaranteed at every visit to leave her office laughing because she is absolutely delightful & fun to be around! I cannot wait until Dr Freeman delivers our baby in Mar/Apr! :) Lastly I'd like to add that not only is Dr Freeman a truly magnificient OB/GYN, but her nurse Vandana is absolutely the sweetest! As a matter of fact, everyone at the front desk that I have encountered checking in or checking out and even the lab techs have been beyond friendly, courteous, and attentive. Oh, I have never had to wait longer than 10-15 minutes to be seen, with an average wait time of 5-10 minutes! Because of where I live in Irving- both the Irving & Euless offices are convenient and I alternate offices (Euless is ideal for regular visits- I usually go right in and right back to see Dr Freeman with no wait time and the Irving office has the best sonogram set up with cozy rooms and flat screen tv's)! I have recommended Dr Freeman to my friends and family and will continue to do so! read more

I was referred to Dr. Peter Sakovich at MacArthur OB/GYN by a really, great friend of mine. I had previously been seeing another OB/GYN doctor for my pregnancy. However, I wasnt to happy with the service I was receiving. I felt rushed through my visits and long periods of waiting to be seen by the doctor. No matter, how you expressed your concern that I had to be back at work and been waiting pass 40 mins from my appointment time, staff didnt care. Suggested that I either wait or reschedule the appointment. :-( So, after venting to a my friend about the frustration with the visits, friend recommended Dr. Sakovich. I was amazed right away, when I called to make an appointment. There was no hold time and the assistant, was proficient and very pleasant. The day of the appointment, I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The waiting room was well organized and clean. The check in process was quick and everyone was so nice. Staff all spoke and had smiles on their faces. I felt so welcome there. It didnt take the nurse for Dr. Sakovich, Anna but a few minutes to come get me in the waiting room. She greeted me by name and was very pleasant. She explained everything she was going to do and allowed me to ask any questions or concerns without cutting me off and/or rushing me. A few minutes after she left the room, Dr. Sakovich comes in with a huge smile on his face and introduce himself and even shook my hand...Answered all my questions and was very patient. He also explain all that we will be doing to care for not only my baby but myself. He did his homework by taking time to review my medical records from my previous Dr., before my visit. It felt like we known each other for years. He truly showed he care about me and that I could put my trust in him as well as nurse Anna. He also inform me of things, I wouldnt never had thought of asking and/or knowning about my pregnancy and myself. I was so AMAZED and couldnt stop smiling. I also, received a bag of goodies, to congratulate me on becoming a mother. You dont know how great I felt leaving the office. I texted my friend at work and called my sister to tell them both what an amazing experience, I just had. It was like too good to be true. However 7 months later and it still feels like my first visit. I am so thankful to have a doctor like Dr. Sakovich. I wouldnt replace him for anyone else. During the 7 months, I moved and will continue to see him no matter how long of a drive it is. It is well worth the drive, to have a dr. and staff that not only meets my needs but truly cares about me and my family. God Bless them all!! ;-) read more

After getting an email explaining the fact I may miscarry I received one phone call from a nurse just simply telling me a hormone level was low and they will "try" to prevent a miscarraige (this is while under the care of Dr. FREEMAN). When I attempted to ask questions (obviously being just a little worried) she was unable to answer ANY of them. A couple hrs later I received another phone call from the medical assistant letting me know a prescription was called in to pretty much help prevent the "INEVITABLE" and if I experience cramps or bleeding to go to the hospital. She couldn't answer ANY OF MY QUESTIONS either! So I ask to speak to my actual DOCTOR and was told to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT of which I said I really just have a few questions, how am I unable to speak to her directly?? The nice medical assistant then said she'll "TRY" to get her to call me. Well five days later and still NO phone call. This is my second pregnancy, the first was a healthy pregnancy (I now have a perfectly healthy 3 year old boy, delivered by a phenomenal doctor who is simply no longer in practice) and so I know this is HIGHLY unprofessional when addressing these highly sensitive, potentially DEVASTATING issues. The staff cannot get a prescription right to save their lives. The anti nausea medication that was called in to my pharmacy wasn't covered by my insurance so please explain why the second one called in was something I was ALLERGIC to and was notated in my charts. Then the THIRD prescription called in is a drug recently known for causing BIRTH DEFECTS. How come I was the one reminding THEM of this? (The medical assistant's response? "Oh yeah...") Well here we go again, the dr wanted me to take a particular prenatal given by prescription... they screwed that up too! It took at LEAST three phone calls and one email to fix the anti nausea prescription and I'm not sure how many for the prenatal. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE HAVING MY BABY WITH THIS CLINIC and I implore you to PLEASE find another clinic if you are pregnant. There are so many COMPETENT clinics nearby that would be more passionate of the care of your unborn child and YOU. Do not let this staff be the one "caring" for you and your pregnancy because it simply WON'T HAPPEN. read more

I am currently 6 months pregnant, meaning that this is based off of my personal experiences with this office that are related to pregnancy, not general ob/gyn visits.I have been going to MacArthur OB/Gyn office in Irving for about 3 months now, and so far, so good. The office is very welcoming, and the ladies in the front/check in are GREAT! They have made me feel valuable eveytime, and I love that they have never made me feel rushed, which is #1 to me! I have had one ultrasound at this office, and I do have to say that the lady was not very pleasant. I felt like I was interferring with "her time" during the whole ultrasound. she did not joke back with us, smile, or engage in any small talk at all! So, good thing I have only experienced this lady once. LAst but not least, my doctor. He is a good doctor, he is young, funny, but yet very knowledgeable! But, I do need to mention that at my very first visit, ((this is my 1st pregnanc so it was the 1st time in this office meeting the doctor who would deliver my first born)) Normally, you would go with any concerns/ques. and feel comfortable asking your doctor anything! But we (boyfriend and I) had no chance to say anything! I was undressed, examened, and then he was out the door! I was extremely mad!! I thought about chnaging MD's, but decided to give him one more chance. He was a little better at the next visit (still wasnt given much chance to speak; and also felt VERY RUSHED) so I am just going to stick with him, so I dont have to deal with the hassle of finding a new MD so late in my pregnancy, and also dealing with my insurance..... I'am currently 28 week pregnant with my first child and I was recommended here by my sister in law who came here and had great things to say. The front desk girls are always very professional and sweet every time I go in for my appointments. The front waiting area is always clean and so are the waiting rooms in the back to wait for your doctor. My Doctor is Dr. Fanous and he is AWESOME! He is always so nice and calm every time I see him and he is easy to get along with. I had experienced a miscarriage a couple of years ago and being pregnant this time around really scared me. But Dr. Fanous has always been very positive from the moment I went in for my fist visit with him and answers all my question without making me feel like I'm being rushed or bothering him with my questions. I always look forward to my appointments with him! His Medical Assistant Sandy is very sweet and professional at my appointments and always answers all my questions. I have called during normal business hours for concerns or questions about a pain here and there and she always returns my calls same day! The sonogram techs that I have seen are also great and make me feel comfortable when seeing my little baby. It's a bit of a drive for me but I feel like if you have a great Doc and the office is great its worth the drive for me and they do take my insurance so that is a big plus! read more

I recently visited MacArthur OB/GYN for a 4D scan, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing and upsetting. When the staff member conducting the scan Macy her name, she asked for my due date, I shared that my doctor mentioned the first week of January as my expected delivery time without specifying an exact date. Her response was dismissive and rude. She rolled her eyes and made sarcastic comments, which were completely uncalled for. During the scan, my baby was turned upside down, making it hard to capture the face, and since this was my second attempt, I was already feeling low. Instead of showing understanding or offering any comfort, the staff member Macy responded sarcastically and said, "You're his mom; you should know. What can I do about that?" Her tone and attitude were unprofessional and lacked empathy. It's disappointing because patients come to these appointments excited and hopeful about seeing their babies, and such behavior only adds unnecessary stress. Her role is to conduct the scan professionally and treat patients kindly and respectfully. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend MacArthur OB/GYN for 4D scans, especially if this staff member is involved. Her attitude left me feeling even worse, and no one deserves to be treated this way during such an important and emotional moment. read more

I absolutely love MacArthur Ob/Gyn! Dr. O'Neil is my current obgyn (2013) and was also my obgyn for my pregnancy in 2004. The staff is amazing regardless of which doctor you see, the facility is very high tech, up to date, and extremely accessible. All the way from the front desk reception, sonogram staff, lab staff, nurses and physicians, this business is top-notch. I was younger when I had my first son and was referred to Dr. O' Neil for his kind and attentive bedside demeanor and when I found out I was pregnant this time, he was the first and only doctor I even considered! I recommend this office to my friends and family, and even recently had a friend so intrigued by my admiration she drove from Arlington to use this office! She loves them now too and just delivered her twins with Mac OB/Gyn. Another friend of mine had a different physician and when she would complain about problems I've never had with the physicians, I told her to go to Mac OB/Gyn. She switched and loved them as well! Also, I have never waited in the lobby once and they schedule appointments to be very comprehensive in one visit to prevent making several appointments weeks apart. If you have the option to use MacArthur OB/Gyn, I would highly suggest it! They are also great for well women care and other gynecological visits! read more

My husband and I are having our first baby. We are new to the Irving area and had no one to recommend an OBGYN to us. We did lots of research on-line and everything we found pointed to MacArthur OBGYN as being great! So we went for a visit appointment and fell in love! The atmosphere at the offices is warm, inviting, and very modern. It does not have a "clinical" feel at all. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We began seeing Dr. Jeff Livingston and he is awesome! He always makes you feel like he has time for all your questions and concerns. He has a great "bedside-manner". He has made my husband and I feel comfortable at every visit with care and in-depth explanations of what to expect. He not only has a stellar educational background, but also has a great reputation for volunteering and support in the surrounding community as well! The rest of the staff from the nurses, to the midwives, to the sonographers are wonderful as well! The technology and medical techniques are all up to date and cutting edge. We have had no problems with billing or insurance, as they have walked us through it every step of the way! Everyone always has a smile on their face and we look forward to our visits, as well as, the birth of our little girl! we would recommend them to any family or friends! read more

I searched for the best OBGYN as soon as my pregnancy was confirmed. I must have looked at over 50 doctor profiles before selecting Dr. Dominique. She is an extremely accomplished Doctor that's held prestigious positions and chaired the OBGYN department at Baylor Hospital. After reading Dr Dominique's credentials I combed the Internet for reviews and read every one I could find. I would say over 95% were absolutely stellar. I'm now 28 weeks and a patient of Dr. Dominique's since my 8th week, I now know first hand why her reviews are 5 star or just below. Dr. Dominique is very honest, pleasant, helpful, re-assuring and one of her best traits is she always asks "So, what questions do you have for me". She welcomes our questions and encourages asking, which being a first time mom you have many and her approach makes you comfortable in asking. Dr. Dominique's physician assistant Allie is also amazing and talented along with Ruby, Dr. Dominique's medical assistant. Every employee we've dealt with at MacObgyn is nicer than the other and always answer your questions and welcome you with smiles. I would highly recommend Dr. Dominique to my family and friends and if we are meant to have another child Dr. Dominique will be our Doctor again. Thank you Dr. Dominique! read more

I first went to Dr. Livingston when I was pregnant with my third child in 2003 since I lived in the area. In 2008 when I found out I was pregnant with my fourth child Iived further away but with no doubt I had to go back to Dr. Livingston. I am now pregnant with my fifth child and again, further away but there was no way I will go to another OBGYN. I am back at Dr. Livingston's office. There has been times that he is not at the Irving office and I do not mind driving further away to Euless to his other location. Dr. Livingston and his assistant Delmy have made me feel time and time again like if I am more than just a patient...it feels like family. They really do care and are quick to get back to you when you need them through email or by phone. I never have to contact them twice on the same thing. The wait is never long, you are seen right away. I read on one review how that person was upset that he was not there but delivering a baby when it was time for her appointment. Just goes to show how dedicated he is because when the time comes for him to deliver my baby I am going to want him there on time and for the time I need him there with no rush. I'm sorry to say that I would not recommend macarthur obgyn to anyone. When we first started seeing them they had us do a positive yelp review for a $50 discount on a future 4d sonogram. That's why you see all these positive reviews. Had I know what came next I would have never done that. Dr. Colette Dominique was horrible. First she was very short at our appointments. I would try to make small talk to get to know her but she seemed not be interested. Then when I was diagnosed, by a different doctor- not her, with gestational diabetes and she didn't even see me after to discuss it. I started to have fevers from 39-41 weeks of and on and she never saw me. I would call for her and they would pawn me off to someone else. She finally saw me the day she sent me to the labor room. To top it off Dr.Dominique never showed up at the hospital and never told me that she was not showing up at all. I had to see Dr. Freeman from MacArthur obgyn, who was very rude and hurt me while examining me. Dr. Freeman kept badgering me about what pain meds I was thinking about and other questions WHILE SHE HAD HER HAND UP MY CERVIX. She rolled her eyes at me when I asked her to question me when she was done examining me. read more

Dr. Livingston and staff are on top of the game!! I absolutely love the set up/flow of things there, the organization, and consistency!! I've always had female doctors because of my level of comfort with them, so i was a little skeptical about crossing over to a male doctor. But Dr. Livingston has made me feel just as comfortable and when you see the many pictures hanging up of the children he has helped to deliver you will be convinced that he's good at what he does.I came to MacArthur OB/GYN at 5 months pregnant because i was very unhappy with my doctor at the time. I would leave my my doctors office with unanswered questions. Dr. Livingston's staff has provided me with pain relief info for labor and delivery, baby magazines, what to expect each month, paperwork on what to eat and medications are safe and unsafe for my pregnancy and much more. And if that's not enough i can reach him on facebook if i need to. Also the facility is very modern and offers a Quest Diagnostics to have your blood work done right there before you leave.
