However, it was really difficult to communicate with her as she doesn't always respond to emails in a timely matter. At times, I would have to double email her just to receive a response. During our ordering process via email, my dog had to have an emergency surgery and I missed the 48 hour period to pay and confirm my order. I explained the situation to her and she wasn't exactly the most understanding and told me she could only complete half of my order. Also, she holds a $25 fee, which can be refunded if you return the tower after usage but getting the fee back can take weeks. I returned my tower 2 weeks ago and emailed her upon doing so and am still waiting for my refund. The macaron tower I ordered was cute but given how stressful the ordering process was, I'm not sure I'd return or recommend her to friends.

The small line went fast and service was sufficient, the staff simply packing my selection without any waiting needed. I ordered a 3-pack box, with corn & cheese, durian, and classic egg tarts. These little snacks were yummy and made of quality ingredients, served at room temp. But they tasted even better after reheating at home. My fave was the classic, though it tasted not so different from the durian which had a subtle flavor. Also, they looked similar with no labels so we couldn't easily distinguish between the two.

We picked out strawberry croissants, some coffee buns and more smaller variety of croissants and packed it in two boxes. When we checked out, the cashier packed it neatly with the parchment paper since we were taking them to work the next day.

You would think this food court area would have more affordable options, but don't expect it here. Selections are still good and size cup too. My regular Halo Halo still tasted good. Fried food items are decent. Cashier was quick and efficient. Cash and cards accepted. No self service kiosk though. Place isn't huge, but it's an old spot for convenience. At least there's still lots of tables and chairs here. They used to take a long time here when processing customer orders. I'm glad they've improved a bit. Place can use an upgrade in interior design these days. It's a casual place to grab and go. You can try ice cream sandwiches or buy bags of lumpia. As long as beverage desserts still taste good, it's definitely surviving.

This shop is located in a complex where there's a grocery store, bakeries, and other small shops. There's plenty of parking in the area lot and you can get to the dessert shop via the main complex entrance or through their door under their sign. We ordered: -Purple Rice Avocado (5/5): Love love LOVE this dessert! It was creamy, milky, and you taste avocado but it's not so strong. I especially loved all the textures from the toppings in the drink. My fiance doesn't even like avocado desserts and he was surprised how good it was. There's only one order station but the workers take your order fast. They were friendly and patient. We walked around and explored the complex and the grocery store while waiting and when we came back, our order was ready. Would I come back? YES! Would I recommend? Yes, and would highly recommend you try the Purple Rice Avocado!

Husband called them around 11am and they said they were in the middle of making their strawberry cakes so they could add our order in for a same day pickup at 4pm. Pickup went well and the cake was so cute and it tasted great! Like the Chinese bakery strawberry cream cake with a moist sponge cake; not too sweet, just right. Might sound basic but it was done very well. Would 100% recommend. I don't know prices for cakes nowadays but I didn't feel bad paying about $60 for a cute and tasty cake (6", strawberry cream cake). I wouldn't bank on same day pickups, I might've just been very lucky they were in the middle of making their cakes but it wouldn't hurt to try calling early in the day if you're in a pinch for a solid cake. I'm very thankful for their service!

The cake in itself was not super sweet- very typical of Asian cakes. The matcha flavor was unfortunately too mellow for us. 3 stars for the cake in itself but the rating is bumped up to a 4 because the presentation is so cute! Matcha wasn't what we were looking for but we may be inclined to try other flavors in the future.

My husband was so happy when he saw it, and it made the celebration even more special for us. I also want to give a special thanks to the manager at the San Jose location. When I mentioned that we would be traveling in the car for about 7 hours, they were so kind and helpful in giving us options to make sure the cake would stay perfect during the trip. There's no where to dine in so you take it and leave. I didn't enjoy the tiramisu crepe cake. I think it was a little too mushy for me. It didn't have the mascarpone flavor of tiramisu. It was also very very expensive. I'd recommend going to Lady M in Valley Fair for better crepe cakes.
