We chose A&D from among four potential contractors to repaint our entire apartment, replace the…read moretile in our master shower, and to sand and reseal all of our wood floors with a couple new coats of polyurethane finish. We liked A&D because of the the way they approached the bid, their detail, their ability to cover all of the three types of work that we wanted done, their competitive pricing and (very important), their follow-through. Dimitri was prompt and thorough in making the first visit and then developing a detailed scope of work with pricing for each part of this job. Andrii led the team that conducted the work. He was on site very regularly to help with the work and oversee the crew. Everything went incredibly smooth! All work was done at high quality, and they finished nearly a week ahead of schedule. Through out the job, Andrii kept us informed. We were in Australia for several days during the work, and he continued to keep us updated and even sent photos. We will definitely come back to A&D for future jobs.

They came to help restore the wooden windowsills of my apartment which are significantly sun and water damaged. I had called several other companies, who had told me that it was beyond repair and needed to be replaced. However, Andrii and Ivan made it look brand new. When it came to their work - they were efficient and absolute perfectionists. They even brought a fan and vacuum to assist with clean up and hasten drying. The photos speak for themselves. They also helped me regrout my bathroom floors and resilicon my tub. It was moldy, rusty, and broken before, and their work was exceptional. They also helped me hang up a few new shelves, which breathed new air in my place. I am beyond pleased with Andrii and Ivan's work, I am glad to have found them and they will be my go-tos going forward. 10/10 recommend

(This is an update to my review posted 3 weeks ago on Precision Painting.)…read more I just used Precision Painting's services for the second time in less than a month. I wrote a review about 3 weeks ago (pls see below) and as I was very happy with that experience, I contacted Precision again for another job. This time, I had to have a portion of my bathroom patched, covered and then painted. I also had a related request to remove a shelf from the bathroom. As with my first experience with Precision, this job was just as good! Again, the coordination within the Precision team was excellent and clearly evident in all aspects of the job, from initial inquiry and questions all the way to the final communication post completion of the job. My key contacts were Jason and Trish. My request was not a standard apartment painting but involved some work on fixing a portion of my bathroom wall, removing a shelf, and then painting and cleaning up the job. Precision was able to accommodate my request for this job so quickly that even I was caught by surprise (positive) as they were able to schedule me in a couple of days. The staff who did the job were Freddy and Steven. As I requested with Jason, I asked for a call about an hour before the staff's arrival at my apt as it's currently unoccupied. I got a call from Javier exactly an hour before the promised start time and Freddy and Steve arrived right on time! Freddy was already aware of the "special" request I had with the bathroom shelf and after a quick run-down, work started and was done in a couple of hours. Freddy and Steve knew exactly what they were doing (notable since this was not a standard job) and everything was completed in a couple of hours! I will definitely be working with Precision again and I highly recommend the company as it's very comforting to work with a highly professional organization that does excellent work! (original review from 3 weeks ago) I used Precison Painting's services in March 2025 to have my apartment painted. I was very happy with the overall experience. On my first call to Precision, they were able to give me a rough price estimate and date availability. This was a pleasant surprise as I needed the job done soon and, it's always hard to confirm an appointment without having an idea of price. (Of course, the final price quote had to be confirmed upon providing further details via email but this was done very quickly as well) My primary contacts at Precision were Jason and Trish. Both were very professional, efficient and friendly in their communication. And, they were able to accommodate my request on a few days' notice. We kept in regular contact throughout the process and calls and emails were returned promptly. The overall quality of the work was great. I met Javier (Project Manager) at my property just before work started to go over any relevant issues. The team were there on time and ready to start working immediately. Javier was also very professional and put me at ease to the point that I only checked on the quality of the job after the painting team was done and already left the property. One important thing to keep in mind for those not familiar with big jobs (i.e. painting, flooring, plumbing, etc.) for most New York city buildings is the insurance coverage of the contractors. Some companies will not have this ready or have sufficient coverage to complete jobs in some buildings. Precision Painting was on top of all required paperwork and approvals for this aspect of the job.
