I appreciated that he was a clear communicator, and also, very importantly, he was able to come to the house first to discuss his methods of fixing the piece before settling on what I considered to be a very reasonable price. In addition, I was very happy that he was able to take the curio to his workplace to do the repairs because with our large, very protective dog, it would have been difficult to have this work done in my house. I'm truly impressed with how he restored the curio to its original condition. J Greene was a God-send. I moved into my Brooklyn apartment with a huge, heavy wood bed frame, that came with built-in drawers and side reading nooks. In addition, the bed-frame was damaged from me trying to put it together myself at my prior apartment. I called J, he was respectful and responsive. He seemed to really care that I had been sleeping on the floor, and prioritized helping me out. He came, fixed the damage, basically rebuilding the damaged portions, and assembled the bed. His price was affordable, $65/hour. He didn't dilly dally, he took just the amount of time it required. And my bed feels secure and safe. It's so amazing to sleep on a sturdy bed each night.
