I sent an email one night and got a response from Mared so quickly that it almost felt too good to be true. While some brides want the all-inclusive venue with everything provided, I really didn't care about expensive fancy chairs, in-house catering, florals, etc. I just wanted a space that allowed me to DIY as much as I could. Mac House provided me with the perfect blank slate that actually ended up having some bells and whistles that helped elevate my basic set-up, like customizable lighting and a convenient roll-up door that served as the perfect spot for our taco caterer. The team was very friendly and accommodating throughout the entire process and made me feel so comfortable in their space. Following their Instagram page, I learned that, aside from the amazing video production work they do, they are also involved in a variety of humanitarian initiatives. The #1 perk about Mac House has to be the flexibility of the space. Not only is there a large open lobby, but there's also an entire studio in the back waiting to be decorated. The studio was large enough for 100 or so guests, 13 tables, two bars (one alcohol and one water/coffee/tea, and food buffet - plus a dance floor for everyone to dance on. Best of all, unlike many venues, you're welcome to use any vendor (party rentals, catering, etc) that you want. This was a huge plus for us! With a little imagination, we were able to transform the entire space to fit the 'Dancing Under The Stars' theme we dreamt up for our wedding reception. Since they're a video production studio, it was super easy talking with them about how to light the entire space. I recently shot an ad campaign at Mac House Productions. I heard from a colleague of mine that this was a new studio that just opened in Fremont so I decided to book. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of shooting space available. The giant cyc wall allowed me to get wider angle shots without worrying about framing the subjects. The floor was just painted before my arrival so it was clean. The staff at the studio was very friendly and offered any assistance that I needed. The facility has easy to access bathrooms and a kitchen for food or craft services and a few couches to sit on. If you need music for your shoot, they have a great sound system and also a projector that can display your images as you shoot them. Been here a few times, rented out the space for photoshoots. This studio have giant CYC wall good for stills and video, it's very spacious and the staff are very accommodating. They have a good array of grips for rentals too if needed, and kitchen big enough to fit in a full crew. I will be back to shoot more projects. Had an absolute blast workin over at Machouse! The space was huge! Was not expecting so much room in there. Shooting around the bay you never get that kind of space for such an affordable price. The space is set up with everything you need too! there's even a second curved wall in the room just for green screen that I didn't have to use but I'm sure I would have been just as stoked about it if I had. The roll up door makes your load in a no brainer. You can get in and out hassle free and saves you more time for your actual shoot rather than falling into a load in/load out time suck. The staff is extremely friendly, the client area is clean and stylish, and they even had gear available to rent which was good to have in our back pocket Incase we forgot anything. I have attended a couple events at the Mac House studio and have throughly enjoyed the company and space. From movie showings, music videos shoots, to networking events and parties, the warehouse/studio/office has it all. The massive cyc wall, beautifully decorated office and green screen are all impressive and speak for themselves. Renting the space was a great value and location, with knowledgeable staff willing to help with anything and everything. It is a one stop shop for all productions needs. Would recommend to anyone looking to rent a studio and/or hire the cinematographers and staff for their next production.
