Knowing my friend's bridezillas personality, I know Vu and his team must be very patient and accommodating. After the wedding, I asked my friend for Vu's contact info. I email Vu and requested a family portrait with him. We setup a schedule with Vu but due to my Dad's health condition, I must have changed the appointment more than 3 times but Vu was very understanding and patient. On the day of the photoshoot, Vu and Mai came with all equipments ready. He scouted around our home for potential spots and took some testing shoots while we were getting ready. The whole session went very smoothly. I was very impress how Vu took advantage of our apricot tree in our backyard as the background for many pictures. With his professional eyes, talented photography skill on top of his confidence in choosing the right lighting and angle, he turned our old & ugly tree into a beautiful background scenery. He showed me the raw pic, before editing, immediately after the shoot, and I was amazed. As for Mai, Vu's associate was also a sweet person. This is not at all clear from the website marketing, which states: * Photos Taken: 30-50 images * Retouched Images: 1 professionally edited photo (selected on-site) Apparently you also get only 1 raw image, though this is not stated. You have to immediately go through a lengthy three-phase process to choose that photo --no consulting with friends/partners. Okay, so maybe I should have found the fine print, but it turns out "professionally edited" means "created by AI." It generated an image that looks like a 25-year-old digital avatar of me, quite different from the original photo. The website also claims that "We offer 2 rounds of free revisions," but I have not received a response a week after asking for one. So, I'm using the raw image, which is fine.
