My dad took his truck in to get repaired at 10am. Was not given a time limit of when the vehicle would be repaired. Only got a call of how much it would cost 4 hours later. Vehicle was done most likely before he got the call at 5:50. He was told to be there in 10 minutes to pick it up, KNOWING we live 20 minutes away. Seriously? A call 10 minutes before close or he couldn't have the truck until THE NEXT DAY? He works early in the morning and needs a vehicle to get there. Poor planning on the service department. SHADY! I don't get these folks. When inquiring about a used vehicle this dealership had on their lot, every question I asked was countered with a question about me. I never received a single answer to questions concerning the vehicle. I finally called him out on it. His reply was that none of that was relevant until we agreed on a price. Huh? So I requested a new salesman from the used car sales manager. No response, never returned a call. But the salesman that just finished his "how to stand in the way of a sale certification" ramped up his sketchy game and went into adversary mode. I had already decided to buy, so I put up with his attitude. I already researched the vehicle, vin, etc. THEN, he played this smoke and mirrors game with a undisclosed $499 charge. First, it was cut off the copy of the sales agreement he had sent me. Then it wasn't there. Then it was called something else. When I left with the paperwork I read that it was a gps detection device added. (To a 2019 vehicle?) I looked it up, a $10 tracker they scabbed under the dash. Nice profit on that. SCAM SCAM SCAM. The experience with the service center at this dealership was sketchy from the start and horrible to the end. When Our engine actually seized after installing a part we ordered from their parts department, we decided to bring it in to be diagnosed. Getting any communication was like pulling teeth, we ended up waiting quite a long time to be honest, between trying to gather the money to fix it and also going back and forth on whether we trusted them or not, which ultimately is what led to us choosing to get it serviced somewhere else, so because we didn't want them servicing it, they refused to reassemble the vehicle after diagnosing it, When we go to pick up the vehicle to just be done with the situation, it was completely taken apart, nothing secured, and couldn't be moved, after talking to the service manager and the GM and getting no where, i was told they NEVER reassemble vehicles after diag, (which is wild, I work in a dealership and I've never heard of giving a customer their vehicle back in pieces.) and i should just trade in, when i gave them a firm no on that, they said the most they would do is put the pieces into containers. I repeatedly asked to speak to someone above them and was just given numbers for people NOT above them. So then i spent a couple weeks trying to fight it through Ford corporate, who agreed this situation was not handled correctly but wouldn't do anything about it because it's a privately owned dealership. & in all this all i was asking was to have my vehicle back in the same condition i dropped it off in! When we finally get the vehicle back, they hadn't even honored their word of putting all the pieces in containers. Instead one thing was in a container and the rest was just sitting inside the car unsecured. Didn't even get all the pieces to my vehicle back. My battery was physically damaged and had to be replaced. Scratches all over it, pieces of the trim gone. Ect. This was the worst service experience I've ever had and it's made it very hard for me to trust anyone at all with my vehicle now. I will never go to another mak Haik location and I'll probably never buy another ford. read more

Do not ever take a vehicle to be serviced with this dealership. We took our truck there to have some things fixed that is covered under our extended warranty from ford that we purchased when we purchased the truck. We drop the truck off list the issues only to be told if they couldn't find the problem we had to pay $180 per issue they couldn't find. We look through the ford warranty and that is not stated anywhere. They kept the truck for 9 days. There was an ac issue, back up camera issue, and the folding mirrors where not folding in like they were supposed to. They fixed 2 issues but refused to fix the mirrors because a scuff on the casing of the mirror. Never once did we receive a phone call that this was a problem. Through out the 9 days they had the truck my husband made several attempts to get updates and very rarely received a call back unless he called multiple times. Again during the updates not once where we told they would not fix the mirrors. Finally the truck is done and he goes and picks it up. My husband is understandably upset about the mirrors not being fixed. He is told by the service manager that basically we did not purchase a ford warranty (then why did they sell it to us at the dealership while we purchasing the truck) and that if we had issue we needed to take it to Planet ford (where we purchased the truck) because it was their discretion what they would do and not do. My husband also discovered that someone had gone through the back seat storage area. They had no reason to be in the back seat nor should they have rummage through the truck for anything . When he mentioned it to the manager he was once again told the mechanics needed to go there but wouldn't say for what. Bottom line is this service department is unprofessional and obviously doesn't want to perform the maintenance/ repair work covered under the warranty bought through ford. Save yourself the trouble and find another dealership who wants your business in the future because I can assure you we will not be back read more

I am so disappointed in this dealership. I have taken my truck in for service multiple times and STILL have the same issues. There is a rattle on the driver side door that doesn't go away and say they "have taken care of it" and still NOTHING. In addition, I was recently in there because my truck has error codes and the fuel efficiency dropped big time, and decided to take it in. I get a call from my service advisor Brett and he tells me "the ONLY way to get rid of the codes is to buy a new battery." I was literally cornered into buying a new battery. They would not work on my truck without it. I voiced my concerns to my service advisor Brett and no luck! So in goes a new battery THAT IS NOT NECESSARY, but I have faith in what they are telling me. After all, are the "experts". I finally get the truck back and guess what....error codes are back! I feel like I got screwed! Here's the best part: NO CUSTOMER SURVEY E-mail. So, I called corporate FORD direct. I am never going back there again!! read more

Horrable customer service after the sale. I bought an 09 xterra with 34k miles on it. I had a check engine light come on the next day and i couldn't even get them on the phone for a couple of days, and when i did they said i needed to replace the gas cap. Luckly i got the extended warrenty and was able to take it to clear lake nissan to fix the problem, a bad evap ca ister valve thing, which is what autozone told me and i told them, i think they reset the light by disconnecting and reconnecting the negativeterminal from the battery when i test drove it because that was way loose when i bought it. I will not be going back there i feel they are shady and crooked and have low character. read more

The service department is poorly run and I have found out why. The service manager does not care. I had major engine repair work done costing over $7000 and received the worst customer service ever. I will try to keep this short so you read it all. It started with 4 days of the service adviser not returning my calls. I had to complain to an unknown supervisor who was probably the receptionist sitting next to the one I was on the phone with to get the service adviser to return my call. Over a month passed before I picked up my truck which was covered in dust and had a new door ding from it being sandwiched in with all the other vehicles. After having the truck back for a month and less than 900 miles later I discovered an oil leak. I climbed under the truck to see the splash shield that comes on the FX4 package was missing. I called the service manager who got my name wrong not twice, but three times during our conversation. I let him know that I was missing the splash shield (and who knows what else), had an oil leak, a new door ding and a vehicle that was dirtier than when I dropped it off. He was so concerned about my satisfaction that he didn't even have the courtesy to face me when I showed up the next day. They informed me the oil leak was from a bad vacuum pump which was probably caused by something smaller than a splash shield being left out of the engine during the original repairs. Then they informed me the new splash shield was at no cost. As if I was going to pay for a new one after they forgot to put the old one back on. So it is obvious to see the service department is pathetic because from the top down, no body at Mac Haik Ford in Pasadena TX cares about repeat customers. My advice is to drive right on by this dealership to find any other dealership. read more

Do not do business with this service center! We brought our vehicle to Mac Haik Ford in Pasadena for several (very costly) repairs because we felt we could trust the reputation the Mac Haik brand had in this community. However, once the vehicle was back in our possession, we discovered that the $500 sound system that was in the vehicle when we dropped it off had been stolen. The management at this location is unwilling to investigate this issue, and claims that they have never reimbursed customers for lost property - which clearly means this is not an isolated occurrence! The management's shoddy explanation was that some vehicles cannot be locked (this is not true of our vehicle), and that it's "possible" someone might have broken into the vehicle overnight (though they claim to have a security guard on-site at night). Whether an employee of this location stole our property themselves, or the service center's negligence allowed our property to be stolen, this service center is ultimately responsible for the theft from our vehicle while it was in their care. Take your Ford vehicles elsewhere for repairs, unless you want to be charged for the luxury of having them stripped for their valuable parts! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Dave the "Service Manager" and Brett in the service department provided by far the worst customer service ever. We took our truck in for an oil change and to fix a module that was recalled. Upon dropping it off, Brett asked if we left a bad review last time (when they had also messed something up) and said "you know you can go somewhere else". Well we should have listened to him because when we picked up the truck that afternoon as soon as we drove off the lot the check engine light came on. We had never had any problems before dropping it off. We turn around and take it back...28 days later we finally get it back after calling multiple times per day asking what the status was. Virtually no calls back and never called to tell us what was wrong but finally a call saying the warranty company had been sent the paperwork for payment. But wait, they had never called us to tell us what was wrong or authorize the work. Oh and it's Friday on a holiday weekend. We finally go to pick up the truck and the manager kindly tells us we owe $2500 dollars for the loaner. This is just criminal to me. Yes we had their loaner, but they admitted they did not look at it for 14 days after we dropped it off and then once they diagnosed it took another 9 days to fix it. This dealership is unethical and they sat there and lied to our faces about the chain of events. Brett and Dave falsely documented that they called us and communicated what was going on. These people are crooks and liars. Stay away! read more

This dealership has no concept of customer service, or willingness to help get warranty work done. My Escape is falling apart underneath and it is not even a year old. Service Manager kept insisting I hit something to do this damage, I have hit nothing. We were driving don the freeway and the panel underneath the car came unclipped (yes I said unclipped, not screwed or bolted in) and the panel hit the freeway doing 75mph. So yes there is damage. We were traveling out of town and had to buy zip ties to keep this in place. The thing that really bothers me is the Service Manager said that this has happened to other people and they have had to replace it. So, I guess it is going to take someone getting injured or worse when this panel hits the ground to get a recall. This is ridiculous. I will never buy a Ford again, and I will never shop at a Mak haik dealership again. read more

Everything looks all good until you get into the finance office. I bought my vehicle at the price listed on the internet. I wanted the vehicle FORD CERTIFIED PRE OWNED and during "negotiations" I was told by the salesman that it would cost me $1,200 to do so. I agreed, then they took the car to the service area to have it certified, & I went to the finance office. I Sign all the paperwork then he gives me a flash drive with all of my documents on it. 48 hours later when I was able to get to a computer and look over all of the documents, I do the math and realize that they added roughly $500 to the $1200 total I agreed to, to have my vehicle certified. $500 Doesn't seem like much but I don't appreciate being a victim of the old "switcharoo". Especially when the tread on my tires were in terrible shape, yet they weren't even willing to split the cost of having new tires put on. that $500 they up-charged me could have paid for that.... One more time, pay attention when your in that finance office! read more

Took brand new 2016 Ford to Mac Haik ford Pasadena after reviewing dealerships around Houston according to the reviews they looked like a reputable paint shop. I didn't realize the reviews were for AC Collins until I decided to post my BAD review of them very misleading on Mac Haik ford of Pasadena tx. Showing AC Collins reviews after buying them out they should of took reviews down as well. I think it is prob illegal to mislead people not sure I'm gonna find out though. In short paint still looks awful after 4 attempts to fix the first paint job. The general manager chad fuse offered me 500.00 to go away as is (LOL) very unprofessional!! I ended up agreeing with body shop manager on re painting it again prob is they never repainted the truck only color sanding trying to fix all the imperfections now looks milky black where they've touched it and burn marks in clear coat, overspray everywhere and now breach of contract they won't stand behind their work or their lifetime warranty. Had insurance adjuster Neil call and he said sounds like their breaching contract so beware of Mac Haik ford body shop and dealership. Awful , unprofessional, bad service and green horn painters!! GM is very rude and unprofessional.. free advice is to read Mac Haik reviews NOT AC Collins reviews!!! read more

Only gave two stars because Marcus, Oj, and Jerry were good and polite to me. Aside from that, absolute nightmare. Walked in with a price I was willing to pay and was told it wasn't going to happen for the truck I wanted. Fair enough, I walked out. Three negotiations later and my wife and I being disrespected by the finance guy, the salesman and I agreed on a price and warranty coverage, he did all the paperwork himself to make sure my experience improved which was much appreciated, sign all the paperwork and get told my paperwork for truck and warranty won't be ready for 7-10 days, weird but ok. 10 days later have to take truck back because it's running bad, they keep it for a week and fix nothing which I don't find out until later. 20+ days after the purchase I finally get my paperwork and warranty info, then the truck takes a complete crap and is towed to a local dealership where I tell them to contact the warranty company, I open the envelope to get the warranty info for them only to find out that I DONT HAVE A WARRANTY because it was never submitted. Not only was it not submitted, but the info and terms of the warranty were changed AFTER I signed for them , ended up paying out of pocket for all the repairs needed, which in my opinion should of been fixed before they put the truck on their lot, but that's beside the point. All through the process I was attempting to contact the GM to no avail until one attempt I got a call back from him and explained the situation, he was a nice guy, I'll give him that. Seemed understanding of the situation, said he'd look into it and let me know what he found. That was two months ago now. Wouldn't recommend buying anything from this dealership, nor would I recommend taking a vehicle for service. I'm giving the GM the benefit of the doubt and assuming he's got a lot on his plate, but some answers would be nice since I've got shafted this entire experience, I've never considered using any outside sources like a lawyer to solve an issue but that may be the only way when it comes to places like this. read more

I really give a one star to the Customer service, Mac Haik has a poor costumer service after buying the car, I bought a Ford Focus 2016 on May, and the lady who do the Titles ( Diana Taylor ) make an mistake on how to spell my name plus she was really rude/aggressive when I told her about her mistake, she told me it was not her problem that I have a long name and she transfer my call to another department, after 7 months my issue is not fix, and every time I call Diana she answer me with a bad attitude, I think Mac haik needs to look for another person to replace her and do a better job. Brought my 2008 Explorer to this Quicklane location because my normal Quicklane location was closed due to damages from Hurricane Harvey. It was a big mistake. I also get "The Works" package at the Quicklane and that's what I requested when I arrived and checked in with the service advisor. After waiting nearly two hours he told me my car was ready and that they had performed everything and everything checked out okay. Normally when you purchase "The Works" it's $39.99 plus tax. My total came to almost $50.00 so I was asked why is it higher? They mentioned they had to add an additional quart of oil so I wasn't too concerned. I returned home to The Woodlands to discover that my wheel lock that I had just purchased because the old wheel lock was misplaced had never been open. So I'm wondering how could they have done a tire rotation which is included in "The Works" package if they never opened the wheel lock? I later examined the tires and realized there was no fingerprints or handprints on the rims or tires to indicate that someone had touched the tires. I later reviewed all of the paperwork and realized that they did not do what I requested. They did an oil and filter change and charged me almost $50.00. No tire rotation and certainly no check of the battery and fluids. The next day my truck would not start. I had to disconnect my battery and bring it to Auto Zone for them to do a battery test. They informed me the battery needed a charge. I was confused because my paperwork has my battery as "Good". So why would my truck not start the next day if the battery was good? After calling this location several times and getting the run around I have determined this location has a bunch of idiots and non-certified technicians and advisors working at this location. I will never purchase a vehicle from Mac Haik Ford in Pasadena or Katy nor will I ever bring my truck to the Quicklane at this dealer. I've contacted my friends at Ford Motor Company to advise of the issues at Mac Haik and asked for them to intervene because of the poor service. read more

Finally they ended up blaming it on Ford Credit and harassing my wife to try to get her to change our survey comments before she could have the tags. I left my pre-owned Ford SUV yesterday, that I bought almost 2 month ago, because transmission is failing. It doesn't even have 45,000 miles on it. They say it will take 10-14 days to look at it, they didn't offer rental or anything. The associate attitude was for me not to leave it there, to find somewhere else. But I had come from another Ford that told me the same thing that it would take 2 weeks to look at it too and I was not going to keep running around. Is really disappointing that I had my car for not even 2 months, is giving me problems and the service department at Ford is so bad. Had a transmission issue my Ford Focus. The staff is friendly (Dan & Morgan) but I kept getting the run around about the length of time my vehicle would be complete. The reason this was such a big issue is that they ended up holding my vehicle for 21 days which was a little excessive for a vehicle under warranty. The reason for the low rating is that I was charged for 10 days for my rental vehicle because they would only cover 11 days for the warranty repair. This was extremely frustrating because they weren't able to fix my vehicle in the guide lines they set for themselves. I was charged over $300 because they couldn't complete the repairs on time. I called every day to get an update and they would tell me my vehicle would be fixed the next day. This went on for 17 consecutive days. That in itself is ridiculous and the fact that I was then still charged for my rental because of the delay made for an extremely disappointing experience. read more

By FAR the WORST car buying experience I've ever had. I purchased a used 2015 jeep from this place, took it home and the thing started leaking gear oil. I purchased all the extra insurance so I figured it would be covered I was wrong. The used car manager "TODD" was very unprofessional and his response was "We are a car dealership, we're here to make money." It cost me $600 of repairs on a certified pre owned vehicle that was only purchased 2 weeks prior. He explained that any other work would be covered and he would call me as soon as he could get it in. My husband and myself have tried to contact him multiple times. I have given up, here we are 2 months later and still no call or response from Todd Taylor. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone especially the Used Cars side!!! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! If I could give zero stars, I would. I came in knowing what used car I wanted and Jonathan attacked me the second I walked in. I told him what I wanted to look at and he pulled it up online. We went for a test drive and sat down to talk numbers. I told him my number, he disappeared for 20 minutes and only came back after we paged him. His new number was $500 less, nowhere near what I said. He left again and finally we found someone to track him down to let him know we were leaving. I really wanted the car so my mom and I stopped by on our way home and gave my final number (I came up some). Jonathan text me a few days later trying to get my business. He also called me and was pretty much attacking me and saying if I couldn't afford that car why would I come look at it. I never said anything about not being able to afford it. I didn't want to pay the price they had listed! I told him I didn't want the back and forth and he said ok. Then he texts me a few days later and asks if I will take it for a certain price, still above what I wanted to spend. Finally, he agreed to the price I said and told me if I came in that night I could get the car. He said it was his night off but to ask for Michelle. When I took the $30 Uber to Pasadena (I live in Houston), Michelle didn't know I was coming or anything about the deal. She pulled the car up and I told her I already drove the car, have looked at it and was ready to purchase. We went inside and I told her the price he gave me and she said there is no way they could give it to me for that. She went to talk to the manager and came back with a price that was still $1000 or more over what I was promised from Jonathan. She went back to the manager (Joe I think) and they gave me an absolute lowest price they could do. They acted like they were doing me a favor like they were breaking even on that car at that price. However, my brother called in earlier in the day and that was the price they gave him. He had never talked to anyone else and they were giving him that price! The one they acted like what such a great deal and a burden for them. Turns out Jonathan never got the prices cleared with the manager and they made it seem like it was my fault. I didn't know that! They also said I was supposed to be working with someone in used cars. Jonathan pounced on us as we first came in! We had no choice. I even showed them the texts between Jonathan and I that discussed the price and they said sorry he was not authorized to give that price. How was I to know?!? The manager even talked to my mom on the phone and was rude. He said if a sales rep had said $1 for the price of a car, would they have to accept that just because one of their employees said so? Ugh! I left their office at almost 9:00pm and had to take another $30 Uber ride home. I have never been more frustrated or treated so poorly in my life. Avoid this dealership at all costs! read more

We were very disappointed with how how our deal was handled by management at this Ford dealer. Zero appreciation for our business. We drove nearly 3 hours away to pick up a limited edition f-150 that they happened to have on hand and spent nearly $70,000 and we were treated as if they did us a favor. 3 days after picking up the truck while at a car wash we were shown 4 long scratches on the hood that was obviously done by the shop contracted by Mac Haik to install a clear plastic hood protectant. 4 precise cuts in the paint around the "limited" badging in the hood, obviously where they had cut the film around the letters. When we brought this to they're attention we were told that we accepted delivery of the vehicle and that it wasn't their problem. Also we have been waiting for 4 months for a rebate that was supposed to be applied to our deal and wasn't at the time of signing the contract. We were assured by the finance manager Eddie, that we would receive it in the mail and we never got it. Ford and the deal itself are very uninterested in fulfilling this. We have gone to consumer advocacy and are now pursuing legal action against this unprofessional and low class dealership. Ford should be ashamed of having such low quality dealer affiliation.
