He even recommended another salvage yard. As you walk in, there are parts inside to purchase on a rack. A little waiting area with a tv, magazines, and wooden benches. The interior was great someone has great eye for art & cars. To walk the yard it was free. Yard was plenty mapped out and organized. Parking though is pretty rough. Had only one Yota 3rd gen. The guy with the goatee actually thought 96-02 parts were all the same. I politely corrected him on that. He was nice and didn't seem irritated of the correction. Great junk yard to visit if your on Spencer.

However, no clear explanation or legitimate diagnosis was ever provided. I went to the dealership myself, inspected the truck, and confirmed that it was running normally. In the end, the vehicle required nothing more than a simple oil change. Recommending a full engine replacement under these circumstances--especially to an elderly veteran--is irresponsible and unacceptable. After reading similar reviews from other customers, this raises serious concerns about whether vulnerable customers are being pushed into unnecessary and extremely expensive repairs. 3.5 stars. Maybe 4…read more Whenever I need small parts, I typically go to Advanced Auto Parts. My family friend who is excellent with cars always talks about how much he likes O'Reilly. I really needed to get my battery replaced because the old battery I had was on its last leg. I stopped by the store after work. The guy who helped me was really nice and helpful. Besides the battery, I also needed to replace the tail light. I thought I only had one light out, but apparently they were both out. He replaced those for me as well as the battery. Once the battery was replaced, we started up the car and the engine began to shake. Obviously that's not supposed to happen. He hooked up a diagnostic tool to see what the problem was. It turned out that the alternator was on it's last leg too. Unfortunately they do not replace the alternator for you, but he explained the importance of getting that part replaced and the cost. He also explained that once I brought the old part back in, I would get $60 back because they encourage recycling of old parts so that they can be refurbished. He did not pressure me to buy the alternator. I ended up calling my family friend to see what I should do and decided to buy it. I wish I could give the store 5 stars, but the employee sold me the wrong alternator. The plug was not the correct size/shape for my car. This set me back a few hours because I had to go to another store to exchange it. Other than that, I was satisfied and I would go back whenever I need to get replacement parts.
