Came here for a wheel alignment, on a referral by Jim from Hare Repair…read more It's a little hard to find, as the shop is sandwiched between a strip of land at the Chimney Rock intersection where the Hwy 59 feeder road and Westpark Rd run parallel. They're the shop with the blue roof that's right next to the Mobil gas station on that intersection. My GPS told me to enter from the feeder road, but you actually need to turn into Chimney Rock and then come in by turning right onto Westpark Rd. There's hardly any parking either (like 3 spots or so)...BLEH. It was a Saturday morning and they were decently busy, but there wasn't a wait. The wheel alignment took only 45 minutes (I l had told them not to hurry since I had a ride and had gone to lunch, so they can probably do it faster if you had to stay and wait) and was only $45 (most can run from $50 to $99) so it was a pretty good deal. The alignment also comes with a 6000-mile warranty in case your car explodes after leaving the lot. A good recommendation from the guys at Hare Repair (it's also a good idea to mention that they're your mechanic since they know each other and will probably do better work, hehe). I'll definitely bring my car back here next time it needs tire work.

When I declined the repair, I was told I owed $350 to retrieve my vehicle -- a diagnostic fee that was never disclosed upfront when I agreed to the diagnostic. I questioned the pricing because the parts quoted were significantly higher than OEM-equivalent parts available from reputable suppliers. Instead of a clear explanation or written breakdown provided in advance, the situation escalated. I ultimately paid the fee under protest in order to retrieve my vehicle. I understand shops need to be paid for diagnostics, but fees should be clearly disclosed before service, and customers should not feel pressured when they decline repairs. I strongly recommend getting all diagnostic fees and estimates in writing upfront before using this shop.

I Had my wife and my mother in law with me, but not our bags! They were in another hotel & we were paying 2 hotels for one night! ( I wonder if our bags missed us? Lol) anyway, our hotel was about all there was around us and ever time I googled "auto repair near me" it gave me Lafayette ( which was 49 miles away & the truck squealed & popped like the wheels were coming off! I googled again & it gave me Spring Texas accidentally assuming " near me" meant I was at home...in Spring Texas ...so Google accidentally gave me " Eagle Auto..." Jeff let me know I was too far for them when I gave him the hotel's address! I had no idea he was in Spring! That would usually be the end of the call right? Not so with Jeff.. he found a five star shop...five minutes away....by using his computer to help me out. The shop was great to us ...good price good work...friendly service....and quick enough for us to get back to our other hotel before the check out deadline for another night for our bags, lol. Thanks to Jeff, a horrible experience turned into a thankful one. He really went the extra mile for complete strangers and non- customers. Everytime I would go by or call to check on status they would tell me the person handling my account wasn't there, sick,at a funeral,out to lunch,etc. Finally talked to owner said he would have someone contact me when she got back in town, never did. Got new canopy in only to find out it had a hole in it. Said it was already in there but had it resting on the metal steps with no cushion between it. Very unprofessional. They were recommending to replace basically everything I've done... and it just so happens, their shop is a dealer of the parts theyre selling. I passed of course. They tuned my car with very disappointing numbers, and the price was average. The staff acted like they were doing me a favor, and couldn't care less about customer service. They also didn't walk me through the tune functionality (maps, launch control, etc), they just wanted to leave. My car tuned 291 WHP. I finally got around to having a pro tune my car (you know the one). I am now sitting at 321 WHP. The dead spots in the Houston Z Auto tune were so obvious and annoying. I don't know who tuned my car, but I know it wasn't Dane. I hear Dane is the only guy you want here.

It looked totally hopeless. I happen to pull into the place when I was about to goto the dealership which was going to cost an arm and leg. I paid I about 144 for diagnostic and they determined that it was a failed water pump. they had the car for two days max to make sure the found everything. Water pump was replaced with original Volkswagen parts and they kept my updated with pictures of the part and the work. price was very reasonable considering this is a German car and the complexity of the work. I was more than satisfied with the work and professionalism of the staff. I got a two year warranty on the work and the car drives perfect again. I definitely will be back for any other work I may need in the future.
