Jamie single handedly saved the Dealership, well her and the gentlemen that fixed my Ford. I'm…read moretelling you I've had to put up with the disrespect and the bullying from MAC Haik since 2016, and as intimidated as I was I finally built up enough courage to bring "big red" in for her oil change and she needed a battery (poor girl was in pretty bad shape) and boy was I SHOCKED. (I'm talking Jaw Dropped, eyes wide, SHOCKED PEOPLE) Jamie helped us out, instantly I could tell the difference in the service department. Everything seemed more organized even with the construction on the building. You could tell someone was cracking heads to get that place in order. I felt comfortable to leave my suv there and book an appointment with the warranty department for some things that need to be done, I've been avoiding. But I'm telling you as dreadful as this department use to be, they no longer are. They were informative, helpful, professional and friendly. What a Change. They put a smile on my face and my suv back on the road like the "stallion" she use to be. (Puns intended) ;) I'm telling y'all go see Jamie in service if you have ever had an issue with this dealership and she will likely change your mind or at least make you comfortable at the dealership you once trusted to buy your vehicle. May your future endeavors be filled with safe drivers and Your Ford with the power train suspension to get around all those suckers (just kidding ya'll we know that comes standard in all fords)

My elderly father-in-law, who is also a U.S. military veteran, took his truck to Mac Haik Ford…read morePasadena because it felt slightly sluggish. After keeping the vehicle over the weekend, he was told he needed a new engine. This recommendation made absolutely no sense. The truck had been running fine--no white smoke, no knocking, no overheating, and no warning lights. There were no symptoms whatsoever that would indicate catastrophic engine failure. When my wife spoke with Bret, the service writer, he said he wanted to send her pictures to justify why an engine replacement "might be needed." However, no clear explanation or legitimate diagnosis was ever provided. I went to the dealership myself, inspected the truck, and confirmed that it was running normally. In the end, the vehicle required nothing more than a simple oil change. Recommending a full engine replacement under these circumstances--especially to an elderly veteran--is irresponsible and unacceptable. After reading similar reviews from other customers, this raises serious concerns about whether vulnerable customers are being pushed into unnecessary and extremely expensive repairs. I strongly caution others, particularly seniors and family members advocating for loved ones, to be very careful here. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

3.5 stars. Maybe 4…read more Whenever I need small parts, I typically go to Advanced Auto Parts. My family friend who is excellent with cars always talks about how much he likes O'Reilly. I really needed to get my battery replaced because the old battery I had was on its last leg. I stopped by the store after work. The guy who helped me was really nice and helpful. Besides the battery, I also needed to replace the tail light. I thought I only had one light out, but apparently they were both out. He replaced those for me as well as the battery. Once the battery was replaced, we started up the car and the engine began to shake. Obviously that's not supposed to happen. He hooked up a diagnostic tool to see what the problem was. It turned out that the alternator was on it's last leg too. Unfortunately they do not replace the alternator for you, but he explained the importance of getting that part replaced and the cost. He also explained that once I brought the old part back in, I would get $60 back because they encourage recycling of old parts so that they can be refurbished. He did not pressure me to buy the alternator. I ended up calling my family friend to see what I should do and decided to buy it. I wish I could give the store 5 stars, but the employee sold me the wrong alternator. The plug was not the correct size/shape for my car. This set me back a few hours because I had to go to another store to exchange it. Other than that, I was satisfied and I would go back whenever I need to get replacement parts.
