Based on that information, I moved forward with the purchase in good faith. Less than 24 hours later, the dashboard lit up with multiple warning lights. Concerned, I took the car to AutoZone for a free diagnostic scan. The results were shocking -- the car failed in multiple areas, filling two full pages of error codes and mechanical issues. This car never should have passed a state inspection. This tells me that either: * The inspection report I was given was fraudulent, or * Lone Star Motor Company knowingly sold a car in unsafe condition while falsely claiming it was road-ready. I contacted the dealership immediately. Instead of helping or offering a refund, they completely refused to take responsibility -- even though I reported the issue within 24 hours of purchase.
