Before even coming out, he wanted to make sure we did everything we could, which sold me, as it shows the company's honesty and integrity, not to come out for things you can do yourself if need be. You get repeat customers like me when you operate that way! Other companies couldn't come out so quickly, and I really love services with a fast turnaround time! Greg was diligent and informative. I learned about the differences between when the light is on and off, and when it has no writing, which means it can turn on in multiple areas. My original issue was fixed; an LED light with two controllers for each section of the house. He was also professional and affable, which really helped, since it was my first time dealing with lighting issues, and he didn't make me feel like my questions were silly! In fact, he explained them and gave examples so I could remember. They offer so many services, including generators! I would definitely call them out again. With 35 years on the job, Greg is what we call true to this, not new to it! Lastly, I believe the value service was worth it! Thanks team! Ps: Everyone has different experiences but let's be reasonable when assessing services. Someone will not do work for you if it causes safety concerns to their employees or you the customer! Safety is first!

I contacted PowerMaster about installing a whole home Generac 22kW generator. After sending some…read morerequested photos they gave me a competitive quote. I was told they could complete the installation within a month. First they delivered and placed the unit. Everything looked great. Once they called Duke Energy for the power drop we found out it would be a little longer than a month. So it took 6 weeks instead of 4. Hardly anything to worry about! They gave me the install date based on Duke's timing, showed up on time and completed the job more quickly than expected. They were efficient and neat, and left my property in good shape. They tested everything was working properly, showed me the operation details and answered all my questions. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PowerMaster and would use them again, without hesitation.

I had previously reviewed these guys and thought they were great. Well that's until you run into an…read moreissue with them. I've had them come out on 3 separate occasions since November 2025 to resolve an issue for me that never got resolved. They told me it was this then if it wasn't this it would be that. We jumped through the hoops and made all the changes to a tune of $800+. When the tech came out a third time in March 2026 and he literally told my husband what we had been having them come out to fix is how the system was intended to function. Sooo why did I just spend $800+ to fix a non-issue and why wouldn't someone else say that? Fast fast forward to May 2026 another tech comes in to complete regular service and what do you know that issue that the last tech said wasn't an issue turns out it is and now they said it would cost me an additional $1100 fix it. This is in addition to the $275 he had just finished swiping my card for to cover their yearly maintenance plan. I contacted the office and spoke to Frank. We agreed to split the initial $800 cost incurred and split ways and he'd reimburse me once he got the new quote. Sent him the quote but cropped the new company out because it's none of their business who has my business now. Well Frank now says they will not be able to reimburse me for failing to do the job and just charging me for things not needed unless I can provide them the invoice showing without cropping out the new company. I could be doing the repairs myself for all it matters. The point is providing you the next company's information should have no bearing or keep you from refunding charges that should have never been billed to begin with. Needless to say I am not being reimbursed half of the initial $800 agreed upon and Frank will likely come on here and try to justify not giving me my money back. Hope the $400 dollars is worth losing me as a customer forever and all the bad press I'm about to give you around town. I forgot to mention the new company is doing the job Cape Fear Air quoted for nearly half the price.

Mike W. arrived on time. He introduces himself to me and proceeding to do his job. He serviced my…read moreHVAC system and the mini-split. He was very thorough and spent a lot of time servicing my two systems. He broke down the mini-split and cleaned that system from the inside to the outside. He found that the main HVAC system blower capacitor tested out of range and replaced it upon me agreeing with him. Mike was very polite and courteous. He is very knowledgeable and gave me great advice to help me make good decisions to keep both of my systems running over this winter season.
