So I called Air Experts late Thurs morning. We scheduled a consult with their "comfort advisors" (sales) for that same afternoon! That was kinda mind blowing by itself. Jackson and Erik got there and we were tearing it up while getting business done - hilarious really. By about 5pm same day, I had a quote and a good price for 2 new units. But then the next shocker. They scheduled the install FOR THE NEXT MORNING. Their installers arrived early next morning, Mark, Roberto, & Tyler. All great guys. By 10:30 I finally had air blasting in the house. I had suffered with failing AC for 18 months since buying this house and they had it down to 70 for their tests. It was... AMAZING. So, without doubt I recommend these guys. We went from the smaller project to instead choosing to re-pipe our entire home to remove the polybutylene piping. We collected several quotes, including from Raleigh Plumbing, and RP was the most competitive. Throughout the process the team was kind, courteous and communicative. The Service Manager, John, was our point of contact throughout the process. Before the project, he answered several of our questions and was helpful to explain some of the pieces we knew less about. He kept us up-to-date on timelines and was easy to work with. At one point in the project, there was a miscommunication that led to some concerns on our side. When we raised our concerns, the Raleigh Plumbing team was quick to take action and went above and beyond to resolve any of our concerns. Their customer service is unbelievably good and the response they gave to our concern showed how they genuinely take pride in their work and care for their customers. ZERO STARS When you make an appointment, the company will NOT tell you what they charge for the labor rate up front. So the company is hoping that you are stupid enough to assume Blanchard's Plumbing is a fair company. They told me, "It is the customer's responsibility to ask about the labor cost". So, if you assume they are a fair price, which I mistakenly thought, you will be wrong. They are an OVERPRICED company and NOT WORTH your time or money dealing with Blanchard's plumbing. The company purposely does not divulge info up front, because they know you will just hang up the phone. Check their work BEFORE they leave your house. The company hires people with NO EXPERIENCE, TRAINEES, who will come to your house. They said one person is for liability purposes. So I pay for two people's labor charges? Even though ONLY one person was working, while the other person just watching the whole time, doing nothing ! Again, like a fool, I did not check the quality of their work before they left the house. However, I paid for their time and labor I see replies to this message from people who said, years ago they were satisfied with Blanchard's quality and price. If that is true, then I am happy for you. Maybe others were satisfied in the past, but maybe times have changed. Their response to me was hostile and gaslighting. They rudely said, "We do NOT guarantee our work." I had to hire another plumber to correct the issue with the three toilets. I could not have been nicer to these people. But now I am thinking, "Are you kidding me?" Of course, you do NOT guarantee your work, because you are not sure whether the workers will do a good job. I'm sure many years ago, Mr. Blanchard did quality work at a fair price in the past. But like I say, times have changed and gone downhill. The Worst customer service with a total lack of responsibility to correct issues. When the company does not like your "online review; they know they're wrong. So what do they do?
