When I first spoke with Raleigh Plumbing on the phone to get a quote for a smaller plumbing project, the conversation led into the receptionist, Jessica, telling me about the people-first approach at Raleigh Plumbing. My husband and I chose to work with Raleigh Plumbing because they were the most competitive quote (and came highly recommended). We went from the smaller project to instead choosing to re-pipe our entire home to remove the polybutylene piping. We collected several quotes, including from Raleigh Plumbing, and RP was the most competitive. Throughout the process the team was kind, courteous and communicative. The Service Manager, John, was our point of contact throughout the process. Before the project, he answered several of our questions and was helpful to explain some of the pieces we knew less about. He kept us up-to-date on timelines and was easy to work with. At one point in the project, there was a miscommunication that led to some concerns on our side. When we raised our concerns, the Raleigh Plumbing team was quick to take action and went above and beyond to resolve any of our concerns. Their customer service is unbelievably good and the response they gave to our concern showed how they genuinely take pride in their work and care for their customers. We have so much trust in this company and their people. Their prices are fair and the quality of their work is fantastic. We'll definitely use Raleigh Plumbing again and would recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing services in the Triangle. read more

I have been using Raleigh Plumbing for the church I work at and yesterday we had a leak in our ceiling. They responded in 30 minutes and found a small water heater pipe that failed. Our technician Markus was able to get the water turned off to the water heater so I could turn the water back on which was huge because we had to open up our white flag shelter for the homeless. From the owner to the office staff and the technicians, they are the best in the industry. Stephen. read more

I just experienced my first service call with Raleigh Plumbing and Heating, and I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. Eduardo and Terry were the service PROS (please note that's all capital letters used for the word "pro" ) who arrived at my home right at the scheduled time. Both of these service techs were friendly, communicative, and concerned that all issues be resolved to my satisfaction - what more could you wish for from a service call? I'll answer my own question: information. As a lifelong educator, I always appreciate getting some additional education myself. These pros knew components, they knew building codes, they knew field practices - what worked and what could generate issues. They knew product- get educated before you buy. If you're needing a repair, or considering a project, call Raleigh P&H; ask for Eduardo and Terry. You'll be doing yourself a favor. read more

Several months ago we needed a new tankless hot water heater. I got several quotes. Some were over twice what we paid using Raleigh Plumbing and Heating. The response time, efficiency and professionalism of Dan the service manager was impressive. When I spoke about how bad some other local companies were and their price gouging, he replied with the following in an email to me..."People need to be made aware that we are not in it for the money. We like the customer acquisition more than the quick buck. I like creating relationships more than making a dollar for the company. My boss is a big supporter of that as well. We JUST had a price increase of $10 more on the labor after 10+ years at the same service cost. It was never really about the money from the service department. We are very much new construction based." Gary, the owner was equally amazing. He and I spoke several times, before the decision was made to go with his company. For all of these reasons, I would never use anyone else EXCEPT this great local company! read more

I have used raleigh plumbing on several occasions. I put in a tank less hot water heater (which is great!) And also had them put in a new sink and garbage disposal when I got a new kitchen. I compared their prices with everyone and they were very fair. What shocked me the most is our power went out and I called and asked how I could reset my hot water heater ( 3 years later) and the owner got on the phone to help me. He said he was actually coming to my area later that day and came to my house and showed me what I had done wrong. And didn't charge me! He was a great guy with 3 girls and got his nice shirt dirty and never complained once. Since this I have recommended them raleigh plumbing to no less than 10 people and have not heard a single complaint. I told them they are like the chick fil a of the plumbing industry. Good luck! read more

If I could give a negative star I would. My builder used Raleigh Plumbing for our brand new construction home. We have had nothing but problems: - Shower leaked on the 2nd floor cause they installed insufficienly high shower liner and not properly. Had to be re-done - Jacuzzi tub cracked because Raleigh plumbing didn't put proper floor and support under the tub - Leak under the dishwasher cause of a poorly done joint - Leak from the jacuzzi tub drain due to poor, lazy workmanship - Leak from the laundry tub sink - yet again poor lazy workmanship on the plumbing joint under the sink - Their crews are incompetent, bad work ethic and poor workers over all. Contrary to what's indicated here, this plumbing operation is not Closed. It is still operating. I used them recently to put in a Recirculating pump. Overall, I was not pleased. They charged $485 and spent 1 hour of labor to install a $240 pump. So the labor cost was over $200 an hour. The worst aspect though was that they put in a low-end, no frills pump. For $30 more, they could have installed a pump that measured water temp and turned on and off, saving more energy. And that better model would have had other additional, beneficial features as well. I was the one who did the research to determine this alternative. Since they were unaware of this better model, they did not take the time to discuss alternatives with me before hand. And when I inquired about these additional abilities, they proposed an even more expensive solution that would not have been as efficient. I dealt with a number of people within their company, including the company owner. The bottom line is that this is NOT the plumbing company you want to go to concerning recirculating pumps. And based on my experience with them, I would not recommend them to a friend or family member for ANY of my plumbing needs. read more

Today I called Gary at Raleigh Plumbing about some rough-in plumbing work I had done back on November 13th. Our tile was recently finished and we had some local plumbers come and finish the installation of the fixtures. The local plumbers found an issue with the rough-in plumbing and had to fix some of Raleigh Plumbing's work before they could install our fixtures. I called today to kindly asked Gary if he could provide me a breakdown of my bill and I explained the issues the local plumber had found. He immediately became combative and verbal abusive towards me. I have never been treated in such a manner by a contractor or anyone in a position where they are supposed to provide customer service. I am not in dispute of the bill, as they obviously did work and provided parts, but rather I am in dispute of my treatment by Gary at Raleigh Plumbing. As the COO of a international corporation I would immediately fire any of my employees if they were to treat a customer is such a manner as Gary did. I want others to know that what Gary at Raleigh Plumbing did is unacceptable and that doing business with Raleigh Plumbing means they too could be subject to such treatment. read more
