The air conditioning system went out in my house in the hot month of August in Cary North Carolina. I called 8 to 10 companies for a free estimate on a new system, as my old system was 29 years old and living on borrowed time. Dustin of Home Comfort Systems was the third or fourth person to come out to offer a quote on a system. He explained that they were a fairly new company and did not have a lot of references but he explained how many years of experience he had in the business and how eager he was To install a New system in my home. He quoted me what I thought was a very competitive bid on a new Rheem gas pack. The next day I received a few more quotes from other companies and that night I went through each quote and made sure I was comparing apples to apples. I discovered that the bid from Home Comfort Systems was not only competitive but they were offering me a machine with a higher reputation for less money than lower brand names. I called Dustin the next day and was thrilled to find out that I could have it installed the following day. He called the city of Cary in order to file a building permit and called me back once that was completed and told me he and his crew would be there the next day at 8 AM. The following day they showed up promptly. It took most of the day to install the new system and once it was complete with new thermostat and carbon monoxide detectors installed inside, Dustin showed me the basics of the operation and assured me that if I had any problems he was only a phone call away. Fortunately, there have been no problems, thus far, as of a week after installation. The company provided at no extra charge a one-year maintenance program for the new system , they installed. So, I'm sure I'll be seeing Dustin or another member of the crew a few times this year. Dustin is very knowledgeable about the business and the whole subject of HVAC. He and his crew were respectful and very careful to keep a clean working space. They left things better than they found them . I was impressed and that's not necessarily easy with me. I'm very happy with my decision to hire this company and feel that I got a great value for the dollar spent I will be recommending themTo any of my friends that need HVAC repair. Home Comfort Systems installed a new HVAC system for us a couple of weeks ago, and we are extremely pleased with their work. The installers (JT and Jaylon (sp?)) were both very polite, respectful and efficient. The owner, Dustin came out to help, too, and had a pleasingly laid-back attitude. Not that any time was wasted - they got the job done when they said it would be. They answered all questions that I had, and happily made a couple of minor changes that I requested. They left everything in great shape, and even spread some mulch (which they brought!) to make the area look nice. They installed a new thermostat (even coming out to swap in a better one that I requested) as well as a couple of carbon monoxide detectors. The price was a little high, but not unreasonable. But I always say - you get what you pay for! I would not hesitate to hire them again for the other level in my home. Thanks, guys, for a job well done! read more

Very, very pleased with this company, service, and staff. Dustin, the owner, came to address a problem with our downstairs HVAC equipment which would not start. He was on time, very polite, personable, and professional. He was able to quickly diagnose a very simple issue but took the time to thoroughly check out all of the equipment and provide a detailed report on the health of the system. He also did routine maintenance on the upstairs unit as well as provided a health report. Very affordable price and we had confidence enough to engage Home Comfort to perform the regular maintenance on these units. They are now our go-to for HVAC and will happily use their services again. Good communication throughout the process.(Also, no upselling, just recommendations) read more

I used Home Comfort Systems for a replacement HVAC system last summer and was extremely satisfied with the professionalism, the price and the workmanship that Dustin and his team employed. Recently I also used them for the first visit under a semi-annual maintenance plan and was equally satisfied with Jonathan Toole, who came out and checked out our new upstairs system, as well as our 17 year old downstairs system. He was on time, very friendly, and efficiently worked to insure that our two systems were operating as expected. I continue to be extremely satisfied with Home Comfort System and highly recommend them to anyone in this area looking for an HVAC contractor. read more

One week ago Home Comfort Systems replaced the entire system for us upstairs and downstairs. I contacted 6 different companies. Home Comfort Systems impressed us in every way. Dustin gave us all the information I needed. He took time and gave us three different payment options. His estimate was not the lowest, but he made us very comfortable. It is a big investment and we wanted to hire someone whom we can trust and rely on 100%. It took all day for them to compete the job, but it was a clean and efficient job. Thank you very much, Home Comfort Systems. By the way the company that gave us the lowest emailed the estimate without checking the current system. read more

My daughter looked on Yelp for several AC maintenance companies and Home Comfort not only followed up with us but also gave several e-mailed quotes to consider. Before arrival they sent out a picture and qualifications of our service technician Jaylen, who was through and when he needed extra help, he wasn't ashamed to reach out and have one of his co-workers come by and help him troubleshoot the problem at our condenser. He was also courteous, respectful, and put everything back in its proper spot which I appreciated. I would recommend Jaylen and Home Comfort for AC/HVAC servicing. read more

Extremely happy with the service provided by Home Comfort Systems. Mr. Doyle was on time, extremely professional, down to earth and took time to explain and breakdown exactly what the problem was with our HVAC. I appreciated his straightforward demeanor, didn't put any pressure on purchasing a maintenance plan and left a great impression on our household. Because of that, I went ahead and signed up for the maintenance plan feeling that level of reassurance if something does go wrong we'll he taken care of. read more

Very courteous and easy to work with. Didn't try to up sale us on any unnecessary equipment or upgrades and went above and beyond to make sure all their work was done fast and to a high standard. They listened to our concerns and addressed them without trying to talk down to us or treat us like we didn't know what we were talking about and even walked us through why they were doing what they were doing and how to prevent the issues from happening again. Couldn't be more pleased with them. read more

I needed a "mini-split" installed and found Home Comfort Systems on Yelp. His 5.0 reviews convinced me to call and make an appointment to get an estimate. Dustin came out the next day, gave me a competitive quote and impressed me with his can-do attitude and knowledge. Less than a week later I have a new mini-split cooling down my workshop. The install was fairly involved and I'm impressed how clean and neat both the inside and outside units look. Many thanks to Dustin and his crew. read more

I had a great experience with Dustin and Home Comfort Systems. He was honest about what maintenance items needed to be done and which could wait - he was not trying to sell me on anything I didn't need. He replaces a couple of parts quickly and on-time. He also helped me evaluate the need for a whole home humidifier. I will definitely continue to use Home Comfort Systems in the future. Thanks! read more

I found water damage around a vent and, as a first time home owner, wanted to get an opinion. Service was scheduled the next day, and Dustin did a thorough inspection. He determined that it was an old leak that had already been repaired, and he double checked to make sure there were no current issues. Very friendly, helpful, and fast. I will trust them with my next repair. read more
