Winter 2023-2024 was tough on my HVAC unit. Things were freezing that shouldn't, things were making god-awful noises that shouldn't-at god-awful hours of the morning; and I was running out of patience. Will returned phone calls, he came out when called (there was a time that a second phone call was needed). I chose to not run the a/c in summer 2024. I was out of patience. I'm from up north; we didn't have a/c . I'm tough. I made it through. I expected everything to be fine once we fired up for winter 2024. But I was wrong. I was ready to move back up north when Will offered an arrangement I could live with. Early this week Carlos and Marcus brought an hvac unit that I expect will do what it is supposed to do. When Marcus came to the house he asked: "Remember the cake?" He made me smile. I remembered the brownies I had made the last time they were here and told him I made some more. I called on Monday morning to request a tech to come look at my AC/heating units, and was offered a same day appointment. Since I wasn't actually prepared for same day availability, I requested an appointment the following day (today) and they accommodated my request for a morning appointment. They gave me one hour window of when they would show up, and they actually showed up in that time! I love that, because I have a busy work schedule and can't spend all day sitting at the house. When Will showed up, he was very friendly, and diagnosed my problem within 5 minutes. I rent this house, and he even waited while I called the owners to ask if they had any follow up questions. Will was very knowledgeable, courteous, and timely. I will definitely use this company again. read more

Dear Wills, Thank you SO MUCH for listening to my problem, taking down my A/C units information, and sending a technician out the same day to replace the fan motor on my upstairs unit. Your repair guy was very nice, and was very approachable and happy to answer questions. After the unit was fixed, he even went to every vent upstairs to make sure there was air flow and a temperature difference with that nifty little handheld thermometer. He even inspected my air filter, let me know that I REALLY needed to change it, and gave me a quick lesson on what kinds of filters are the best to buy when I asked. Thank you sooooo much! Air Secure came in July and replaced the motor on my A/C. I waited over four hours for them to drive to Raleigh and back to my home with the motor after being told he would be back in an hour. Today was the first time I turned on my heat only to have none. I had another company come out and my safety switch was knocked off along with the wiring when my motor was replaced by Air Secure. Not a word from the technician when he broke it off. He even went as far as wrapping the broken wire and folded it in the wires to the motor. Dishonest and cost me even more money. Would never trust someone that does this. read more

Look further. Air Secure installed a vastly oversized system in my home, unbeknownst to me at the time. (They must have had it in stock.) The noise of the air whooshing out of the registers is unbelievable and unbearable. And they strapped the unit to some beams in the crawl space (!!!) and my house shook until I finally had another company investigate and resolve the issue. They were also unprofessional. At one point an un-uniformed man in regular street clothes responded to a service call at night. How I wish I wasn't stuck with this mega unit under my house! This is a shoddy company. They were prompt, courteous and knowledgeable, *and* my bill for the work was lower than what the other company had proposed. So grateful. read more

Had William Smith install a new HVAC system for me recently. The service was quick and professional. It was raining when he arrived and he could have put it off until later but he stayed to get the job done. He stayed around after the install to explain how to operate the new thermostat and ensured I was satisfied with how the system operated before he left as it is much more powerful and efficient than my old system and operates a tad differently. I could not be happier with the service I received from Will Smith and team from Air Secure. My problem was initially intermittent and they made several trips out when it would, of course, work just fine, and they didn't charge me. When my problem suddenly became constant and the house temps were in the 50s, I made a frantic call one evening and they squeezed me in the next day. They diagnosed the problem, were honest about the possible complications, and worked aggressively to find my part. (They were very concerned the issue be resolved quickly as I was having surgery in a couple days.) A couple hours later, they were again at my house, installed the part (with no complications), and I had heat again. I'm not sure who was happier! The repair cost was very reasonable, particularly considering the unpaid calls and the urgent nature of this one. I HIGHLY recommend this local, family owned company. read more

Not honest people. They came to diagnose the a/c unit problem. They told me that $88 paid fee would be deducted if I either repair or install new unit from them. When I signed the contract on same day for new a/c unit install, he didn't deduct the fee. When I mentioned, he said " I will give you a check." The check never arrived. Also he told me that the warranty is 10 years before signing, after that, it changed to 5 years. read more

It has been two months since I have wrote the review and here is the update...I was informed I could get reimbursed my money if I proved I paid for the services last July as they did not have record of my payment. I was able to produce the deposited check and receipt for last July and mailed it them over a month ago. As of today, I have not received my reimbursement and have only spoken to one person who assured me they would mail the money the next day...this was over two weeks ago. I have emailed and left messages for the owner who has only returned my call one time. Again, their lack of professionalism, customer service and integrity speaks volume to the quality of their business. read more
