This is one of the best dives in Dallas! It's super low key and hella affordable. Krystiana (I know I'm spelling this correctly) was our server on a Saturday afternoon. She was literally the only employee out front besides the cooks. She was handling the bar and providing exceptional table service to our very large party of 16. There were also other customers in the building that she was attended too. She was amazing! Now for the food, my appetizer was queso with taco meat, it was very good and came out fast. For my entree I had the Philly cheesesteak meal with Cajun fries. Superb! Good drinks! Definitely recommend.

This place is a straight up bar with bar food, not that there is anything wrong with that, just know what you are getting... In fact I many ways there is a little charm to the place. The first thing you will notice about this place is the service. The ladies they have waiting tables are fun, friendly, and helpful. They are casual and informal, which helps them connect with their customers. I ordered the sliders and was impressed. They were a little dry, but tasty. About a minute or two less on the grill and they would have been amazing. My friends all got wings and described the as "pretty good". Overall the experience was a good one and I would not hesitate to come back again. In fact, I am kind of looking forward to it!

Initially when I walked in there was this awkward moment of not knowing where to go. Every other seat at the bar was occupied. I was greeted by a girl with a warm smile. Told her I'd never been here and asked her how's "this all work". Said I was welcome to sit anywhere. This is a sports bar for sure! They have lots of TV's with varies sports channels on. The waitress brought me a menu and told me a little bit about the bar. It's my understanding that many of the customers here are regulars. That became more evident the longer I sat there. Reminded me of "Cheers". Everybody knows your name. Was not sure what I wanted, I ordered the small basket of breaded pickles. They came out fast! I decided on the Slider burgers which gives you a sampling of their three top favorites, the mushroom slider by far was my favorite. Unbeknownst to me, it came with a choice of onion rings or fries. Way too much fried foods for me. My fault. More then enough food at a great price. They have a covered outdoor area to eat and noticed this area is dog friendly. That's always a plus for me. That says a lot about a business that is animal friendly! Everyday they offer some type of special on their menu. They also have $3.50 shots on Wednesday. This is a nice hangout spot to be with friends. The food may not be 5 stars, although great wait staff and atmosphere is worth returning for! Maybe everybody will know my name by the end of the night! 2017/43

Great place to watch the Cowboys! Plenty of drink options. And delicious food! We've been here several times now and we've never been disappointed. This time we ordered 10 wings Garlic Parmesan & Buffalo Hot with celery & carrots and the Maac Daddy with tots. All so yummy!

Great place to hang out have a drink and eat a burger. The atmosphere is relaxed and Maury is an awesome bartender. The burger and fries were very good and fresh. On Sunday and Monday they have 50 cent bone in wings.

Whiskey Cake - A look into our dining room!

This visit we didn't get any entrees or drinks we were there for the cake. We don't have one in our state so we were ECSTATIC to find out there were a few in the metroplex area. We did go 2 out of our 4 days there. Just get the cake, ask for a middle piece. Everything is locally sourced and the whipped cream is made fresh and you can tell. Every bite is heaven. The slices are pretty big so 2 of us share one. The service is fantastic and fast. Zero complaints. We also learned on our last visit that they ship the whiskey cake.. not sure they should've told me this lmao because I will be ordering.

The space is large, comfortable, and full of life, even on a Wednesday evening. There are cozy sofa corners if you want something a little more intimate, plus an outdoor area that's "outside"... but not too outside, which honestly feels like a win. Drinks were a highlight. My boulevardier was spot on, and then I shared a smoked Old Fashioned with my friend that was just... exquisite. Smooth, balanced, and a little dramatic in the best way. Food held its own. The chicken and waffles were delicious, the chopped chicken salad was fresh and satisfying, and my friend's Reuben got a lot of love from her side of the table. And then came dessert. We shared the Whiskey Cake with praline ice cream, and let's just say, it lives up to the name. Decadent, rich, and absolutely worth it. Service was really good. Attentive without hovering, and thoughtful in those small ways that stand out. At one point, our server split the Old Fashioned for us without us even asking. That kind of anticipation earns points. This is the kind of place you return to when you're back in town. Comfortable, reliable, and just indulgent enough to feel like a treat.

Service rhythm was good. However, everyone at the table was from Louisiana and the server couldn't tell us what was used in the "Cajun" spices on the French Chicken. After checking with the kitchen, she came back and said pepper and other Cajun...stuff. You'd think that would be a basic training lesson and menu knowledge you'd have to grasp before being given a section. Don't put vague descriptions in print if your staff can't break them down when the guest asks questions. On a side note, I know for a fact that this company requires all their managers to be clean shaven. Yet, I saw a cook/chef with a fairly thick, quasi-biker beard working the line in an open kitchen in clear view of guests. Kind of ironic. I'd rather the dude making my food be clean shaven for obvious reasons. Unlikely that I return.

Tupelo Honey is a southern style restaurant chain that serves comfort food in a casual setting…read more They recently refreshed their menu, and they have become one of my favorite casual lunch spots in Irving-Las Colinas. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Tupelo Honey is a stand-alone restaurant conveniently located near Hwy 114 and 161. There's plenty of parking, outdoor seating, and a mixture of tables, booths, and bar seating. Speaking of the bar, it acts as a beautiful backdrop for the entire restaurant. 1 Star. Service - The service is always friendly. Our server is always smiling, and I can't help but feel welcome with southern charm. Tupelo Honey trains its staff well, and I really enjoy coming here and interacting with the staff. 1 Star. Food - I always begin with the Biscuits with a Cause. These light, flakey biscuits are served warm with a crispy exterior and soft, flakey inside. But honestly, the biscuits act as a delivery mechanism for the butter and blue berry jam. I always ask for an extra side of butter and jam because I use it all. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Honey Dusted Fried Chicken (dark). The chicken was perfectly fried, crispy, and sweet. And the dark meat was juicy. Pro Tips - use your hands. Another great dish was experienced. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I have yet to have a below average dish at Tupelo Honey. Yes, it's a chain. But it's also a darn good chain that keeps its menu fresh and is worth multiple visits. 1 Star.

They did seem a little busy and I believe there may have been a shift change at some point. It took us 15 mins to get a table outside. I will add the wait time is the only bummer in my experience. It took a good minute to get our beverages and food. There was a crowd but it seemed to be in and out pretty quicky. The food was great! I ordered their sangria, very refreshing and not overly sweet. Southern shakshuka. $15.99 two eggs* baked in a tomato, spinach, & peperonata sauce, over stone-ground goat cheese grits, topped with basil (710 cal) - This combo was good, loved the creaminess and even had leftovers for the next day. Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken & Waffles $16.99 Hand-breaded crispy chicken tenders drizzled with sriracha honey, served over golden buttermilk waffles. --enjoyed the Spiciness it truly was subtle but did grow as you continued to eat. The buttermilk Waffles were fluffy and light and full bite with the drizzled syrup was everything. Enjoyed the flavors of the whiskey flight and happy you have the flavor cards to be able to give the tasting a proper review. Over all price is average in comparison but the food quality is there so I have no issue spending an extra dollar or so. I would like to stop by again when it's less busy.
