We called ahead of time and made a reservation for 5, and were glad we did because the restaurant got packed quickly. About halfway through our meal, we saw that there were people waiting outside to be seated, so it seems the place is pretty popular! The restaurant is run by people from Ethiopia, so we could tell that it was authentic. The inside is really nicely decorated. For our group of five, we ordered the three combinations, which gave us about 10 different dishes on the injera bread. They did forget about us and so our food did take longer to come out, but it wasn't like we were in a rush at all so it didn't really matter to us. It was all SO delicious. There was a good mixture of vegetarian and meat dishes, which was great because we had a vegetarian in our group. With our waters, extra injera, and combos, it came out to be 9 euro per person, which was incredibly worth it for us because the food and experience were amazing. I would definitely come back if I ever was coming through Barcelona Sants again. I would highly recommend stopping by and it would be a good idea to make a reservation if you can!

Check the website to confirm the hours because the Yelp hours weren't correct and we ended up coming about and hour and a half before they closed. The staff still welcomed us in but we tried to be polite and finish early. We order drinks. I got the sangria since I wanted to try it while in Spain. The alcohol was jussssst right, if you know what I mean. I think, altogether we order just about everything on the menu between us and the portion sizes were great for being able to share amongst the table. I ordered the Indian curry with rice. We also shared the baked cauliflower, mushroom puffed pastry, the honey miso aubergine, and the goat cheese mixed greens. Every last dish was wonderfully seasoned and the flavors were AMAZING, in my opinion. The only thing that wasn't up my alley was the aubergine. This is no fault of the chef. I just am trying to love aubergine/eggplant but just haven't found a dish that makes me swoon. It's a texture thing I think. Anyway, I really loved the mushroom puffed pastry and I normally have an aversion to mushrooms as well...texture thing yet again. The desserts were great too. I literally sucked the caramel flan in three bites. It was deee-licous! This place definitely is on my list of places the next time I'm in Barcelona. The decor and lighting was great for the ambiance, the staff were very nice, and the food came out fast and tasted perfect especially after a long day exploring Barcelona. Cheers!

We had the mushroom croquettes, the bread with tomatoes, and the burrata with nectarines on brioche which was the best of the three. We finished with the pumpkin pie with cardamom and the flan. From now on, I will add cardamom when I make pumpkin pie. The flan was the best flan I've ever had because it had an additional flavor. Our waiter was friendly and did a nice job.

This place marked the spot. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. I preferred an indoor seat this evening because of the heat. First, the paella comes in a hearty serving. Definitely will fill you up. I arrived around 7ish for perspective and they made this to order. The paella was made wonderfully. Me personally, it seems a bit too rice heavy and not enough seasoning for my preference, but that is more an indictment on paella and not this place. They did have plenty of other options so I'm sure people are satisfied regardless.

Very filling, and such good vegetables. The fish/meat substitute was super good. Really well done. Reasonably priced for LA standards. Not sure what standard BCN pricing is but my entree was ~15 euro. Had a small amount of leftovers. Ambiance was great, too. And staff able to speak English if you have any questions. Great allergen labeling. All around stellar spot. PS my walking tour guide said Born is much cooler and less touristy than the Gothic District- if that helps you choose which location. And the church across the plaza is free after 6 pm so pop in and look for the FC Barcelona window.
