Combination of (clockwise from upper left corner) cauliflower, pumpkin, potatoes (and carrot), lentils, cabbage, chard, corn and salad

We had the vegan combination: cauliflower, pumpkin, potatoes (and carrot), (spicy) lentils, cabbage, chard, corn and salad in the middle. Our favorites? Chard, lentils, and pumpkin. The ambience is friendly and trendy. Nice decorations and dimly lit. Feels cozy. Great service too.

First time having Ethiopian food and boy was it delicious. The ambiance was so cool and felt like we stepped right into Ethiopia. The wait was a little long since forgot our order but they were quick to realize and very kind. Locals all came here. Near the train station if you walk. Highly recommend fresh food and filling

Great place. Never enjoyed veggies so much. Don't forget to order the carrot cake. We were in a group of eight and it was a great experience for all of us. Next time we will try with our kids. They will enjoy eating with its hands

Food was mediocre. Almost no English spoken, I strongly suspect dishes contained undisclosed butter.

We were very excited for Ethiopian food. Paid over 10 euros for a taxi and the restaurant was closed. Yelp you need to update your site!

Seriously, wtf is an "authentic" African? And the food is not "exotic", it's Gambian. Moving on, the food here is absolutely delicious. My friend and I ordered the Thep Bu Yapp with fish to share and devoured it in less than 7 minutes. We ended up ordering another dish to go. It was that good! We also tried the ginger drink. I'm a huge fan of ginger, so I enjoyed it. It definitely has some spice/bite to it, so be forewarned. The set up of the restaurant is simple and unassuming. The staff is super friendly and efficient. I will definitely return here for a bite the next time I visit Barcelona. Two thumbs waaaayyy up!

It was bland. the stew didnt have much flavor. The two small pieces of fish were bland as well. The food needed more seasoning. What i also found interesting was in the inability of the server to add chicken to my meal (I offered to pay more). I said I'd pay more and he said no. He said if i wanted chicken, id have to order the "Maffre Arroz" aka Rice and stew. Very irrational. Sadly there are no other choices in Barcelona for west african food. overall, would not visit again.

Dessert was some sort of "pudding" and we also ordered a milkshake. If/when you come here, be decently hungry. The portions are generous and filling. Everything was delicious, though I really would rate the spicy sauce as mild. It was flavorful though! Everything was seasoned nicely and I recommend also dipping your potatoes in the other spicy sauce they have bottled on the table. The pudding we had reminded my dining companion of some sort of British pudding from his childhood. To me as an American, I would describe it more as a cast iron cake soaked in some delightfully sweet (but not too sweet!) custard. It was excellent. The milkshake was fantastic. Nothing really blew me away, but everything was delicious and very satisfying. The space is very casual and pretty small. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. It was refreshing to be served by someone who clearly had a love for the food and the establishment.

I tried the Caribbean chicken, and asked for a sample of the extra spicy African sauce. I'm not sure if my heretofore high tolerance for spice has been dulled after 6 years living in Barcelona, but that sauce was MUY PICANTE!! I'm not even sure if I can handle the African chicken that comes automatically with the extra picante sauce. But since I'm not one to back down from a challenge, I'll be ordering it next time. At under 15 euros for the chicken, it's still relatively cheap considering the quality, but that's without any sides. They give you a frequent customer punch card - the 10th chicken is free. If I ever eat at the restaurant, I'll amend my review.
