We called ahead of time and made a reservation for 5, and were glad we did because the restaurant got packed quickly. About halfway through our meal, we saw that there were people waiting outside to be seated, so it seems the place is pretty popular!
The restaurant is run by people from Ethiopia, so we could tell that it was authentic. The inside is really nicely decorated. For our group of five, we ordered the three combinations, which gave us about 10 different dishes on the injera bread. They did forget about us and so our food did take longer to come out, but it wasn't like we were in a rush at all so it didn't really matter to us. It was all SO delicious. There was a good mixture of vegetarian and meat dishes, which was great because we had a vegetarian in our group.
With our waters, extra injera, and combos, it came out to be 9 euro per person, which was incredibly worth it for us because the food and experience were amazing. I would definitely come back if I ever was coming through Barcelona Sants again. I would highly recommend stopping by and it would be a good idea to make a reservation if you can!
