They provide amazingly fresh produce and often find great deals especially if you join their club. They are also my go to to pick up salmon as it is always priced at a great deal. Their staff is super friendly and helpful as you need help finding anything they are always willing to.

I picked up some sushi since recently getting into it and developed a craving and was highly satisfied! Staff was friendly and pointed me right to what I was looking for which I appreciate a lot. I love that they have cold pressed juice here. And think it's cool they offer fresh pressed peanut butter- I think that makes them stand out. I grabbed there magazine they had displayed by the carts and it had some really great recipes for those like myself wanting to continue strong prioritizing health. Fresh thyme is like a more organic feeling pick n'save. They do have seating to sit down and eat at this location which I've done before and have a pleasent view of the city street. They serve hot soup, I've gotten their cheesy broccoli when I was sick and it was creamy and what I would hope to expect. I've gotten lucky with parking in a slot right outside the store but they actually have a parking structure too which is such a stress relief when parking in the city can be a pain! There's a beautiful sidewalk to walk alongside the river just 30 feet down from the entrance as well with benches when the weathers nice and you just want to grab a drink and snack and sit for a minute.

Date of visit: August 3, 2024…read more We gathered here with some neighbors as a friend had said that she knows the owners and they are lovely people and the food was good. It was overall a mixed experience. Food: I had the BBQ Short Rib (R3 on the menu) and while it was flavorful with the rice, the meat was extremely tough (especially with just the butter knife I had to cut) and fatty. The portion size was a bit small for the price as well. Other items on the menu seemed to be a much better value in terms of food volume and cost. Service: Attentive at first, but then nonexistent. We were so busy talking that we didn't know what we wanted and finally all settled on items. It took two staff members to take the order due to some language barriers, but we got through it. During the meal, they came around once for water and then never again, despite hanging around for well over 90 minutes. There was no attempt to clear dishes and we had to flag someone down to get the check. Overall it was okay, but I'm not super likely to come back anytime soon, unfortunately.

A co-worker had suggested checking out the food truck when it came to Delta Beer Lab in Madison…read more I'd seen it on Shark Tank way back when and figured it would be a fun experience. I've never had lobster and to be fair shellfish is not really my jam. While the lobster mac n cheese and lobster tacos sounded absolutely incredible, I wanted to get a real lobster experience that wouldn't be impacted by other yummy ingredients like cheese (cuz who doesn't love cheese in Wisconsin?). I ordered the Connecticut roll because cold fish was just a bit too much for me. This thing tasted like BUTTER - and quite frankly, I think it's supposed to. I don't dislike butter, it is just quite a heavy accompaniment. Overall, I don't think I love lobster and I don't think I'd order it again... but I still ate the whole thing and was quite full afterwards. I was initially bit surprised at the $25 price tag for my not huge (albeit filling) sandwich, but lobster is an expensive commodity. I actually did some Internet searches for Madison and Milwaukee that had lobster rolls on their menu. First, there aren't many of them so consider this a special treat regardless. Second, the cheapest I could find was a $24 lobster roll and it went up from there. So, reasonably priced for what you're getting. This was a great, low-stress and "not weird" introduction to venture into lobster eating. It's not for me, but it seemed unfair to give 3 stars for not loving a food I don't overall like in the first place. The staff on scene were friendly and I had a good time, so 4 stars it is. If you actually like lobster, definitely look up their schedule and find them at a location near you. The parking lot was packed so obviously this is very popular which tends to mean pretty well liked, too. Come find out for yourself.

This individual was a young man with a neck beard wearing a bright pink wig. Weird, but that's not what made my skin crawl. I asked a simple question, and he gave me a vague answer, then when I asked some quick clarification, he proceeded to literally STARE ME DOWN. I actually felt threatened and disconcerted, even though there was no physical threat from this little guy, but I know a bad vibe when I feel one. This individual was not right. I guarantee it. And he should not be working up front with customers. On the other end of the spectrum, when I walked away for a moment and thankfully came back to find a different cashier, was Ms. Angela. At least I think her name tag said Ms. Angela. There was certainly a Ms. in there. But she was an older black woman who was nothing but lovely and sweet and helpful. Please, Pick 'n Save, get more people like Ms. Angela on the registers, and fewer like that weirdo in the wig.

This PnS is smaller than most, without adequate cashiers and nobody likes self serve. If you're going to make me work for the store, then either pay me or give me a good discount and a little paid training. The produce isn't always fresh and well displayed, and I often can't find what I came in here for (like to put more money on my bus pass, or good oranges). The parking lot doesn't seem safe (not in terms of crime, in terms of low speed collisions). There's no good place to secure my bicycle either.
