The eggs were perfectly cooked and I loved the corn. The black garlic ramen ($19) had a strong garlic flavor without being overwhelming. The pork wasn't overly fatty. Both ramens came out lukewarm and took nearly 40min after ordering for them to be served (30 min after the calamari was served) which felt like a long time especially at 5pm on a Sunday with only a few tables seated. Would recommend the calamari, it tasted fresh, but was a very small serving for $8. The ambiance is cute, but very dark, so it was difficult to see what I was eating. We were sat by the window.

My favorites were the two fattier cuts ( otoro, and chutoro ) I remember at this point we wished we had ordered another appetizer since the restaurant was busy and our main sushi rolls took a bit of time to arrive. We decided next time we would at least get the edamame in between plates. The rolls we ordered were the Ponzu Jello and Riverwest. The Riverwest description listed a smoky miso mayo which I did not notice a different from regular flavored mayo on a roll. The Ponzu Jello was unique and worth trying! The rolls were fat and very filling so we did not need to order more than two! I think we both agreed that the Riverwest roll was our favorite of the two. After that we noticed there was a special for some premium sake, so we ordered the G Joy. Very delicious, easy to drink and a perfect size to share.
